Belle (2 yo, mixed breed) is a medium-sized rescue dog from the island of St. Croix and Atari (3 yo, Cavachon mixed breed) was born on a farm and has been spoiled since birth! :) I also volunteer with Ruff Start USVI, the rescue service that rescued my dog Belle! I spend time with the rescue puppies, taking care of them, playing with them, etc. My family also often foster dogs from Ruff Start, Belle was a foster dog before we decided to adopt her! I have an uneven/asymmetrical college class schedule so my availability varies day to day! About: I’ve watched many dogs and two cats over the past 4 years usually over family friend vacations. I’ve worked with reactive dogs as well as two young puppies. I spoil my dogs and would be happy to treat your pets with just as much love! I am a part time college student so I have a TON of time to pet sit! As I prepare for dental school in the fall, I will also be free for summer work. I love staying with dogs in either an environment they are used to or my own depending on what the pet parent prefers! There is a fenced in dog park behind my apartment that is never occupied where I run around with dogs. If it is occupied, I would walk around the park nearby with lots to smell on the trail. I also love giving dog baths, so that could totally be included!

About: I am professional pet boarding, dog CPR certified! Pack pro certified for CPR and first aid as well as a few other certifications through pack pro! I have always loved animals. I currently work as a manager at a doggy daycare/boarding facility. Where I have worked for the past two years. I’ve done bathing. I’ve done daycare groups. I’ve done day school, which includes minor obedience, training and agility courses. Being a manager i’ve administered many meds pills, eye drops, eardrops, liquid medicine, insulin as well as all types of wipes/balms! So I am more than comfortable with disabled, senior and just a little silly/wonky pups! I really just love all kinds of pups! I do currently work full-time 4 to 6 days a week. Typically evening shifts so I am available in the morning until noon! Then as well in the evening after 9 pm for check in’s! I have one pup a big old English mastiff 7 years old truly, a gentle giant. I also have 6 cats that he does great with! All six of my cats are comfortable/don’t really care about my pup! I am not comfortable with overnights in others homes but more then happy to have you pup come to my apartment! Or do multiple check-in/up’s throughout the evening/mornings!

About: I have had many different pets of my own during my lifetime; all of different shapes, sizes and breeds! I have had close family and friends who call me for any dog sitting or care taking services. I am a teacher with a lot of availability during the summer so I can most likely cover any hours you need. I truly love animals and I will treat your pets like my own 🥰 I am a teacher during the months of August-May so I have a lot of availability during the summer. I can be available early in the day or check in late in the evenings. I make sure to follow the owners careful instructions that are left for me and will reach out with any and all questions. About: I'm an experienced animal caregiver of many species. I have owned dogs for about 10 years and have lots of experience administering medications and providing specialized treatments. I have worked previously with mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, etc and currently own chickens and dogs. I'm comfortable providing a nail trimming service and bathing if requested. I love meeting new furry (or scaled or feathered) friends and hope to hear from you soon! I work full time in Ames but would be happy to care for your pets around my work schedule. I may be available for dropins before or after work in Ames on a limited basis during the work week. Please ask for details. I am willing to petsit outside of my listed range for an added fee. I know that consistency can be very important, I will do my best to uphold whatever training and routines you ask me to follow while providing plenty of snuggles and playtime.

About: I have over 2000 hours caring for shelter cats. I am the guardian of five cats. I'm comfortable around shy cats, kittens, old cats, all cats! I can administer simple medication if needed. I'm extremely patient and will take the time to let your cat get comfortable with me, or back away if your cat is stressed. I would love to play with your cat! I love cuddles! I love chillin' from a distance if that's what your cat needs. I'm a responsible adult and will follow the directions you leave for me. Your trip away from home will be worry-free in my care. I can also provide excellent care for small animals. Growing up I had a summer job caring for rabbits and a rabbit of my own who lived to be 12 years old! I also had a pet guinea pig named Oreo. I have flexible job hours and can work around your schedule. I have a car and am not afraid to drive in inclement weather conditions. With my own cats, I feed them twice per day and give them hours of cuddle time. My experience at animal shelters has given me a lot of experience approaching cats with different personality types.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up caring for horses, cats, dogs etc. I currently have a German Shepherd and have gone through multiple puppy training classes with her, which helped me learn a lot about dog behavior, leash handling, and positive training. Because of my experience with larger and high-energy dogs, I’m very comfortable handling different personalities and making sure every dog gets the exercise, attention, and care they need. I currently work part time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to walk dogs, provide attention, and make sure they get the exercise they need. I treat every pet like my own and prioritize their safety and comfort. I follow all owner instructions, stay attentive on walks, and make sure dogs feel safe and cared for.
