About: I am currently employed as an Advertising Account Executive & Assistant to GM and Traffic Manager at local radio station, and I am offering pet sitting services in my free time. I have a lifelong love for animals and extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats of all breeds. Growing up, I volunteered at a local veterinary clinic, which deepened my understanding of animal care and behavior. While caring for your pets, I provide daily updates and photos so you can stay connected with your furry family members while you’re away. I am flexible with scheduling and strive to accommodate each client’s individual needs. I kindly ask that all animals be up to date on their vaccinations for the safety of everyone involved. Your pets will be treated with the same love and attention I give my own—spoiled and cared for like royalty! I also offer light household cleaning services during pet-sitting visits for an additional fee. I am currently employed with Hospice, but animals have always held a special place in my heart. I take great joy in caring for pets and understand the importance of providing them with love and attention while their owners are away. I offer flexible scheduling and am happy to make accommodations to meet the needs of each client and their pets. I ensure my pets are well cared for every day — providing fresh water each morning, daily feedings, and clean litter boxes. When I had my dog before he passed, we enjoyed daily walks (often more than one!) and followed a consistent feeding routine. I treat my fur babies as family and care for them as if they were my own children. Being told I may not be able to have children has made my pets even more precious to me — they truly are my family.

About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.

About: I have had pets my entire adult life, and I know how important it is to you to find the right person to take care of them while you’re away. I am committed to taking care of your pets like they’re my own, and I’m excited to provide lots of love and fun! I work from home, and my husband is a full time dad, so we’d be happy to spend time with your pets, go for walks as a family, and see to their every need! We have pet gates throughout the home, extra kennels if needed, and a fenced in yard. We are also comfortable giving medication orally or via injection if needed.

About: I have experience with all kinds of dogs! My own 2 dogs come from very different places. Belle (3 yo, mixed breed) is a medium-sized rescue dog from the island of St. Croix and Atari (4 yo, Cavachon mixed breed) was born on a farm and has been spoiled since birth! :) I also volunteer with Ruff Start USVI, the rescue service that rescued my dog Belle! I spend time with the rescue puppies, taking care of them, playing with them, etc. My family also often foster dogs from Ruff Start, Belle was a foster dog before we decided to adopt her! I am currently searching for a summer part time job so I have lots of time to take care of your pets this summer! I will be in the Ankeny area until August 10th when I move back to Ames for college! I will be able to provide services in Ames once I return! ☺️ I will update with my college schedule once it gets closer to move-in. I am completely flexible to whatever your dog may need! I can perfectly heed to any dog schedule and follow along with any weird little quirk! I love sending pictures and will send plenty of updates or only a few, whatever you prefer!

About: I have always had a dog in my family since I was born! I had dog sat for friends and coworkers for as long as a week at a time. I am working full time with a non profit so my hours are pretty flexible. I would take care of pets in the morning before I go to work and they would be my first stop when I head home. I would respect the clients property and their rules and routines! Making sure everything is clean if not cleaner when how I found it! Nothing is better then coming home from a trip to a clean place!

About: I'm an experienced animal caregiver of many species. I have owned dogs for about 10 years and have lots of experience administering medications and providing specialized treatments. I have worked previously with mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, etc and currently own chickens and dogs. I'm comfortable providing a nail trimming service and bathing if requested. I love meeting new furry (or scaled or feathered) friends and hope to hear from you soon! I work full time in Ames but would be happy to care for your pets around my work schedule. I may be available for dropins before or after work in Ames on a limited basis during the work week. Please ask for details. I am willing to petsit outside of my listed range for an added fee. About: I have spent much of my life taking care of different animals. I grew up on a farm handling chores for animals of all kinds from horses to dogs and cats. I currently have a 3 year old Maine Coon cat named Boston! I currently work mornings, typically 7-3 M-F. My hours vary depending on the week and what I am busy with at work. I work shifts on weekends and nights when needed I have a yard for your pet to run around in and play. I do have 3 other pets in my home that are properly vaccinated and friendly!

About: My love of animals started from a young age. I grew up on a farm with a variety of pets, from dogs and cats to pigs and horses! I have fostered and boarded a variety of dog breeds and cats, and I currently have a dog and 4 kittens - so you can trust your pet will be in great hands! I am an active teacher, so I stay busy throughout the week, but I am off on holiday breaks and weekends, which is when I will be most available! I do also have afternoon and nighttime availability thought out the week on occasion. I provide personalized care for your pets by sticking to their routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs they have. I ensure their environment stays comfortable and safe while you’re away, offering companionship and attention to keep them happy and relaxed.
