About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, so I know how to take care of pets. I help take care of our current pets, a 17 year old dog and a cat with medicine. I’m a big animal lover (I have a degree in Animal Ecology) so I’ll be happy to sit for your pet! I usually work 2-6:30 around 4 times a week, sometimes working the full day (which I mark on my schedule). Outside of this timeframe I am available! I’m not able to keep pets at my house, unfortunately, but I am able to visit with your pet at your home and take care of them there.

About: I'm an experienced animal caregiver of many species. I have owned dogs for about 10 years and have lots of experience administering medications and providing specialized treatments. I have worked previously with mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, etc and currently own chickens and dogs. I'm comfortable providing a nail trimming service and bathing if requested. About: I’ve had for dogs of every age and size for my entire life, but have been a serious caretaker of them for about 10 years. I can give medicines including insulin shots, and will heed every dietary and exercise need given to me. I’m currently working full-time, however I commute from Ames to Des Moines every day so I am used to driving long distances. I also have a very flexible schedule and can work from home if I can give at least 2-3 days notice; I can leave for long periods at lunch; and I can get off work early if a drop-in visit is needed before 4:00. I can also stay as late as necessary into the evening, as long as expectations are communicated beforehand. I cannot take pets into my apartment or workplace, however, I have experience with strictly and loosely trained animals in just about every situation under the sun. I am comfortable staying the night in a well secured home, or taking a few minutes to play with the pet(s) in the middle of the day.
