About: I am currently employed as a Hospice Admissions Coordinator and am offering pet sitting services in my free time. I have a lifelong love for animals and extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats of all breeds. Growing up, I volunteered at a local veterinary clinic, which deepened my understanding of animal care and behavior. While caring for your pets, I provide daily updates and photos so you can stay connected with your furry family members while you’re away. I am flexible with scheduling and strive to accommodate each client’s individual needs. I kindly ask that all animals be up to date on their vaccinations for the safety of everyone involved. Your pets will be treated with the same love and attention I give my own—spoiled and cared for like royalty! I also offer light household cleaning services during pet-sitting visits for an additional fee. I am currently employed with Hospice, but animals have always held a special place in my heart. I take great joy in caring for pets and understand the importance of providing them with love and attention while their owners are away. I offer flexible scheduling and am happy to make accommodations to meet the needs of each client and their pets. I ensure my pets are well cared for every day — providing fresh water each morning, daily feedings, and clean litter boxes. When I had my dog before he passed, we enjoyed daily walks (often more than one!) and followed a consistent feeding routine. I treat my fur babies as family and care for them as if they were my own children. Being told I may not be able to have children has made my pets even more precious to me — they truly are my family.

About: I live on a farm and I have had/have all different types of dogs and all other farm animals growing up. I am very particular in the care of my pets that would take your needs of your pets very seriously. I’m a stay at home animal mom already. I have a flexible schedule that I can work with you to get the best schedule for your pets needs. Stopping by mornings, afternoons, evenings! * I only do drop in visits and walks* I am able to give the clients pet the love and care it needs while they are away. I’m very particular about my own pets care that it is my personal duty to keep the clients normal routine for their pet as close as possible for pets best interest. With plenty of updates.

About: I've always had pets be apart of my life ever since I can remember. I love all animals! I've had experience with both cats and dogs. I'm familiar with senior pets as well, my furry friend is living his best senior life right now. I'm able to give oral medications as well if need be! I'm currently a stay at home mom taking care of my two boys and our one dog. I have pretty open availability for whenever you need! Your pets will get plenty of play time and love while they're with me, they'll be treated just as if they were my own. I love to take them outside to get some energy out and enjoy the nice weather. About: I've pet/house sat for multiple people in the past. Animals include dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. I like to have a meet and greet before ever staying with your pets alone. If you have any special diets or quirks make sure we discuss them in advance! I don't mind staying for a few hours to watch your animals or just drop in, whatever is needed! I have a nighttime job so, your animals will need to be able to be alone at night a few days of the week! I will discuss meal plan, how often you walk them/let them outside, and if they have meds with you prior to caring for your animals.

About: I have spent much of my life taking care of different animals. I grew up on a farm handling chores for animals of all kinds from horses to dogs and cats. I currently have a 3 year old Maine Coon cat named Boston! I currently work mornings, typically 7-3 M-F. My hours vary depending on the week and what I am busy with at work. I work shifts on weekends and nights when needed I have a yard for your pet to run around in and play. I do have 3 other pets in my home that are properly vaccinated and friendly!

About: Hello! I have had a dog my whole life, whether it be my parents dogs or my own, I have always had that kind of companionship and responsibility. I am very familiar with animal behavior which allows me to pick up on certain needs and behaviors. My sister in law is a dog trainer and I have learned a lot from her. I am very patient and can be flexible to you and your pets needs. I am currently looking for part time work so I have open availability. I am flexible and willing to work around your schedule to make the process easier. It depends on what the client wants. I am available for dog walks, feeding your fur baby while your away, or just checking in for some extra attention.

About: I have experience with all kinds of dogs! My own 2 dogs come from very different places. Belle (3 yo, mixed breed) is a medium-sized rescue dog from the island of St. Croix and Atari (4 yo, Cavachon mixed breed) was born on a farm and has been spoiled since birth! :) I also volunteer with Ruff Start USVI, the rescue service that rescued my dog Belle! I spend time with the rescue puppies, taking care of them, playing with them, etc. My family also often foster dogs from Ruff Start, Belle was a foster dog before we decided to adopt her! I am currently searching for a summer part time job so I have lots of time to take care of your pets this summer! I will be in the Ankeny area until August 10th when I move back to Ames for college! I will be able to provide services in Ames once I return! ☺️ I will update with my college schedule once it gets closer to move-in. I am completely flexible to whatever your dog may need! I can perfectly heed to any dog schedule and follow along with any weird little quirk! I love sending pictures and will send plenty of updates or only a few, whatever you prefer!

About: I've been dropping in to aid family and friends with their dogs, cats, and other pets since I was in high school, and have been online doing general pet services for the last 3 or so years now. I myself have 3 cats and a snake. I have experience with giving cats eye medication, oral pills, medication mixed with treats/food, and creams. For dogs I've given creams and medication mixed with food/treats. I'm currently doing freelance work so my schedule is pretty flexible. Other than my own pet's schedule, I'm happy to find time for your pet's needs. I always make sure to check in with my clients to ensure they feel comfortable with me in their house. Things like where they're comfortable with me going and doing, where the pet(s) are allow to be, any routines that need to be done, and anything else they'd like to precaution or worry about.

“Jess was such a great choice to watch my Sammy boy. We were gone from 5/22-6/1 and had no idea it was getting VERY warm here in Iowa. We did not yet have our window air conditioners in. At one point, it got to 85 in our house. I was able to have a neighbor install the window ac’s. Jess was concerned for Sam and offered to stop by to check on him (on a day that wasn’t originally on the calendar). I truly appreciate her doing that! We were in Florida and that helped eased my mind!! We’re already set up to have her take care of him later this summer. Thanks again Jess!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I got my first cat when I was 16 and now have two beautiful cats. Taking care of my cats has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and genuine love. I have also learned a lot about animal behavior from observing my cats and spending the past six years with them. Even though I have cats at home, I’ve also always loved dogs and enjoy spending time with them. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet and make them feel comfortable and loved. I am a nursing student at DMACC and have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday available to care for pets! I am available to work anytime between 10AM and 11PM. I make sure I always know where my pets are throughout the day. If they aren’t in their usual spots, I check on them to make sure they’re safe and comfortable. Before leaving the house, I make sure they have fresh water, a clean environment, and that their scheduled meals are served. I also pay attention to their behavior because it tells me a lot about how they are doing.
