About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, so I know how to take care of pets. I help take care of our current pets, a 17 year old dog and a cat with medicine. I’m a big animal lover (I have a degree in Animal Ecology) so I’ll be happy to sit for your pet! I usually work 2-6:30 around 4 times a week, sometimes working the full day (which I mark on my schedule). Outside of this timeframe I am available! I’m not able to keep pets at my house, unfortunately, but I am able to visit with your pet at your home and take care of them there.

What sets me apart from other pet sitters is that I am a full time vet tech and have been in the veterinary field for over 10 years. So I am uniquely qualified to administer all kinds of medications, including oral, transdermal, and injectable, as well as subcutaneous fluids. I am also a certified dog trainer so I am able to train puppies (and dogs of all ages) and keep up with their current training while you're away. I currently work full time, so I have limited daytime availability. I am off on Thursdays and Sundays as well as most Saturdays, but otherwise can only provide midday drop ins if they are within a short drive from my job in Waukee. I will follow your instructions meticulously and treat your pets as I do my own. I believe it is important to keep as close to a normal routine as possible to make sure the pets are comfortable with their pet sitter while their owners are away. I provide daily text check ins with pet parents as well as pictures of your beloved pet.

About: I’ve always been around cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve mastered the process of giving medications. I’ve volunteered in a shelter some years ago and I learned a lot while I was there. I’ve trained all of my current and past pets and even helped some friends with theirs. I craft my own pet food in my kitchen to ensure all nutrients are available to them. I take pet health to a very serious level! Currently, I’m just in school So I have plenty of time. I’m available Mon- sun at 10am, 3pm, and anytime after 5pm! Friday is the only day that I’m available at 11am rather than 10am but I’m free for the day after 11am. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. I take time to learn their personality, feeding schedule, litter habits, and any specific needs before caring for them. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure everything is left clean and secure. I’m also attentive to doors, windows, plants, and anything else a curious pet could get into. I give pets plenty of attention and playtime while also respecting them when they need space. If they need medication or any extra care, I’m comfortable handling that as well.
