“Melissa was amazing! She was incredibly accommodating and made time for a last-minute meet and greet, which I really appreciated. She took excellent care of my cats, including giving insulin and oral meds. She sent great updates and the cutest photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. I’d definitely book with her again!”

“Audrey was amazing with our cat. She exceeded expectations when she brought him a new toy to play with so he wasn't bored. He made a couple messes (he never had a history of accidents in over 5 years with us) but she cleaned them up ×ithout making us feel bad about it. We came home to a happy cat! Would definitely recommend Audrey and will choose her again if needed!”

“Lauren has been an absolute doll to work with! She is so kind and thoughtful! She’s super communicative and respectful of hour home and always sends the best updates & pics of our pup! He looks so happy in every one of them and I know he’s being well taken care of! I would 100% recommend Lauren to anyone who is looking for a pup sitter! She is so flexible and even does last minute drop ins! Will definitely continue to work with her in the future :)”

About: My mother runs my hometown's animal shelter; I built it with her from the ground up when I was eight. Ever since then I have continued to help when I visit home. I have worked with all personality types, breeds, and exceptional cases. I've done hands-on work with elderly pets to newborn puppies and kittens. In addition, I have house-sat for owners with many cats to one, a variety of dogs, and many with specific needs throughout the day. I myself have a dog and it's my top priority to give your pet everything it needs to be happy and healthy as if it were my own. I work weekdays from 9-5:30 pm but my calendar will be updated biweekly on weekends I’m available at this time. Feel free to reach out with any questions regarding scheduling! I always ask for a very detailed list of where the food and treats are kept, special medication, things they can and cannot have, etc. I also want to know their favorite toys, what their personality is like, do they like to play fetch, go on walks, or just to have some company indoors. If the animal has any health conditions I ask if I should be aware of anything other than medication when it comes to their health. If you pet is shy around strangers I ask to be shown the best way to approach them in your experience during the first meeting to ensure your pet feels safe.
“So happy with Hallie’s drop-in visits! She does such an amazing job at taking care of my dogs, always keeping me posted and sending photos! My dogs fully enjoy their time with her, too! Highly recommend Hallie for any of your dog’s needs! ❤️❤️❤️”

About: I’ve had family pets ever since I could walk. Growing up with horses, I experienced the hard work and dedication it takes to taking care of large animals. I’ve had a family dog, several cats, and even a bunny for my entire childhood, therefore giving me extensive animal care skills. Furthermore, I held a summer job at a dog boarding and training kennel where I helped with feeding, cleaning, bathing, yard-time, and even throwing training birds for all kinds of dogs. I love animals of all kinds and types, therefore can care for just about anything! My own fur baby today is a 4 year old fluffy Pembroke Welsh Corgi - full of energy, attitude, and sass. He’s my whole world, so I know just how much your fur baby means to you and why my care is the highest standard! I am currently expanding my own freelance marketing services, so I have wide availability to offer pet care. My marketing services allow me the flexibility to work whenever and wherever, giving me more availability to care for your pet! I can do whatever needed to care for pets in your home if home visits are needed. I’m happy to play indoors or outdoors, give snuggles, go for a walk, or simply be in their company while you are away. I will keep constant communication with you by sending updates and plenty of photos! Your trust and confidence in my care while providing the best service possible is my priority. I am a very organized, responsible, and professional individual.

Waukee cat parents share their Rover experiences
Lauren was the absolute sweetest. She took amazing care of our 3 kittys and made sure that they had fresh food and water as well as treats. She is a very kind person and is excellent at communication. We absolutely loved the daily updates and photos of our babies. We would definitely book with Lauren again.

From the moment, Amina walked into my home, AJ immediately bonded with her. I knew that she was the perfect one to watch over my kitty, while I was gone. Good communicator. This was my first experience w Rover, so I didn’t know what to expect between my pet sitter & the Rover system.

Rain has been an absolute star taking care of my two cat. Rain was fully engaged in all the communications and proceedings from the start to the end, and beyond. Both cats have complex medical needs, Momo are more challenging, requiring a specific type of care, equaling to vet nurse treatment, which is not for the faint hearted. Especially since momo had pills and syringe med to take. And yumi is extremely picky at the litter box. Rain didn’t bat an eyelid at this at all, and took superb care of both of them. On top of that, Chris provided a detailed update after each visit, accompanied by the most beautiful photos of my furbabies. You are an amazing cat/dog nanny anyone can ask for :). I am so grateful for your help, Rain! Thank you!
