About: I grew up on a farm, so taking care of animals was a part of my daily routine. I have had pets my whole life, including: cats, dogs, and bunnies! My friends and family have trusted me to take care their pets when they’re away from home. I help my great aunt and uncle with their collie puppies every year too! I am currently a student at Iowa State University entering my senior year! This summer I am looking to help people out and fill up my schedule with your fur babies! I currently live in an apartment, so I won’t be able to house any pets. I will be able to keep your pets company when you’re away or even check on them throughout the day.
“So happy with Hallie’s drop-in visits! She does such an amazing job at taking care of my dogs, always keeping me posted and sending photos! My dogs fully enjoy their time with her, too! Highly recommend Hallie for any of your dog’s needs! ❤️❤️❤️”

About: I have been taking care of family and neighbors pets since I was about 12. Growing up I already had every kind of critter I was allowed to have. My love for pets continued to grow as I got older. Previously I worked at Adel Vet Clinic for almost three years and I absolutely loved it. I had my son in January and am staying home with him, but still wanting to be able to get out and care for animals throughout the day. I currently am a stay at home mom with my three month old son. I am available during the week as well as weekends. I have a family whose dogs I take care of during the lunch hour and would love to have some more dogs or cats to see during the day. I currently have two cats and a dog which I am able to spend my days with playing and snuggling. I have some dogs I currently care for and get to go play outside with them and get some good belly rubs in. Whether you are wanting a mid day potty break or snuggles and care well at work or out of town, I’m here for it all.
“Nejra did a great job with Pemi and Maple! It was very comforting knowing they were in such good hands. Thank you for the daily updates with all the pictures. It's great to see them every day when I'm away! Pemi, Maple, and myself would happily work with Nejra again in the future 🙂”

About: (I go by both Kennedy and Sunny!) I have had pets since I was little! I started grooming in a pet salon four years ago! A pets safety and happiness will always be the first thing I strive for! I can offer nail trims and grinds, paw pad shaving, ear cleaning, and a sanitary shave during my check-ins if that’s what you’d like! I am currently a full time groomer, but I can do nightly check-ins/ stays. I’m currently, fully free on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other Friday and Saturday! If your pet needs a small check-in during the late afternoon any-day, I will be able to do so (: I cannot offer my home up for stay; due to one of my own cats being unfriendly/ aggressive. But I will take care of your pets like they were my own! Like I do at my salon, I pay close attention to body language, and signs of stress. If a pet seems anxious/ aggressive/ uncomfortable, I will always try my best to make them understand that I’m there to help and take care of them!
“Moriah is caring, communicative, and dependable . She sends updates via text, sends the cutest pictures, and I live her video snippets. Being away for 12 hour shifts can be stressful and worrisome. Knowing Moriah is there to care for my boy helps alleviate that. I trust that he is in safe, capable hands. Thank you, Moriah for being there for Hershel.”

About: I have had dogs all of my life, and have had the responsibility of walking, feeding, and playing with them for as long as I can remember. I have also dog sat on many different occasions for friends and enjoy this a lot. I am currently a Crossfit coach at Redline Crossfit, so I coach twice a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-6:30. I also nanny for a family on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:00-6:00. I should be able to work around these conflicts though as I am not currently enrolled in in-person classes at my highschool! I plan to care for pets in my clients home by building trust with the client as well as their pet. I think it's best to try and create an environment that is similar if not entirely the same as what the pet is used too, whether that be routines, or other things.

“Alok did a great job in taking care of Zeus! He made sure he played with Zeus, sent pictures and videos and fed him on time. I was surprised how fast Zeus got used to him. Really happy with the services and would hire him again. Thanks Alok?”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 9. I’ve owned a small teddy bear dog who is turning 8 this year. I also have dogsat for my neighbors with dogs of all sizes, from Shih Tzus to Bernese Mountain dogs. My schedule is very flexible during summer. I am almost always available to take dogs on a walk or take them out, but stay at home visits take a bit more scheduling. I will crate your dog or let them roam free depending on your preference. I can also prepare wet or dry food for your pets meal times as well as take them on routinely walks during their scheduled time.

About: I have always loved dog sitting for friends and family. Unfortunately my cat does not allow me to get a dog. But I would love to meet all the dogs and go for all the walks! I am currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule that can be changed very easily. Going on long walks is already part of my daily routine. Unfortunately I do have a cat so I won't be able to board. I can adapt to the clients pets needs very easily and pay close attention to detail. Cleaning up a big mess is sometimes part of the job and I intend to always leave the pets space cleaner than I found it!

About: Pediatric nurse and life long dog lover! I’m here to make your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for. Let’s keep your pet’s routine consistent while you’re away! As a nurse my schedule varies week to week but I typically know weeks in advance. On my days off I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and whatever other needs your furry friend may have. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by sticking to their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, or bedtime habits. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment while keeping owners updated with photos and messages!
“Sarah Beth did an amazing job! My cat just had a handful of teeth removed and I was sick to my stomach leaving him for a few days. After the meet and greet, I felt so much better knowing he was going to be in good hands and he was!! Highly recommend.”

About: Hello there! My name is Coty and I am here to help provide exercise, care, and happiness to your beloved fury ones! I grew up with at least one, if not two dogs in the home at all times. I currently have two dogs and they mean the world to me! I have a 13 year old Terrier-Chihuahua mix. His name is Oliver, or Ollie for short. He is a rescue dog and is my absolute pride and joy. He’s slowed down quite a bit in the last year and his health has also declined. Fortunately, he still loves going on walks and getting cuddles! With that, I have experience caring for and providing medication to senior dogs. My other fur baby is a four year old Bernadoodle, named Gus. Gus has completed our little family with his playfulness and love for humans. If Gus could talk, he’d tell you that he’s a 70 pound lap dog! He absolutely loves his walks, catching his beloved football, snuggles, and any time outside! Dogs are such a huge part of my life and I truly wouldn’t have it any other way! I am currently working full time but am free during the week after 4:30pm and available any weekend I’m not marked as not available any time. I treat others homes and animals with the same respect that I treat mine with. To a lot of us, our pets are our fur babies. I treat them with care, patience, and compassion.

Olivia was amazing! She took the cutest photos of our animals and they all looked so happy to be with her. Oliva responded super fast on short notice of my booking and did a great job. She fed, let out, and took time to love on each one of them! ❤️ will definitely book again!

Samantha did an awesome job hanging out with our two dogs while we were out for a birthday dinner. She sent pictures and was very communicative even though we were only gone for a couple hours. It made our night stress-free, knowing our dogs were being well taken care of.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
