“Morgan was great! I appreciated the pictures and communication while I was away. She gave me peace of mind and took wonderful care of my animals! I’ll definitely rebook with her in the future.”

“Our kitties loved Tim, and they were very happy and calm when we returned home. He provided lots of play time for the younger cats, and lots of photos while we were away. I think they were disappointed it wasn't Tim when we walked in the door!”

“Lisa is very caring and thorough. I had total peace of mind while on vacation that my cats were receiving proper care and attention. My cats and I couldn’t be happier with the service Lisa provides.”

“Emily was awesome! She sent cute pictures and was very communicative. If there was anything she was unsure of she was not afraid to ask. I’m very pleased with my experience using Rover and I’m so glad I found Emily!”

“We just returned from a 2 week trip, and Cory provided care for our 5 cats. He did a fabulous job! 3 of the cats were elusive, but the other 2 warmed up to him. He saw to all of their needs, and also fed the birds and squirrels for us. He did all we asked of him, and I was confident that they were in good hands. I highly recommend Cory, and will reach out to him for future needs. Thank you, Cory for the great job.”

“Jaden took wonderful care of our 10-year-old cat! She was reliable, on time, and sent daily photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I’d definitely ask her to help again the next time I travel.”

“Abby was awesome! It made me feel so good to know my cat was well taken care of. My cat liked her immediately. She sent multiple pictures and my place was in great shape upon getting back! Thank you Abby, I hope to use you in the future!!!”

“I have 2 cats, one shy elderly lady, and one rambunctious 4 month old boy kitten. Talia was fabulous with both of them, playing with my kitten, and giving my shy girl her space. She was great with providing updates and photos, and is very responsive to messages, giving me peace of mind when I was away. I highly recommend Talia, and will not hesitate to use her again the next time I travel.”

“Zaira helped me out with a short notice request to take care of my cat, Ernestine. Prompt and professional in her responses to confirm...checked in and out each visit with pictures...as well as provided a complete report card of Ernestine each day. Would definitely reserve with Zaira, again!”
About: We always had dogs growing up. I’ve had my own dog for 4 years. I love being around dogs and want to show yours as much love as I show my own. I work from home 2-3 days a week. I’m also available for overnight boarding depending on the night and weekends. Just ask if I’m available! I have a fenced in backyard. Your dog is welcome on beds and furniture. My house and property is very dog friendly for all types.
“Kaden is amazing! Friendly, easy to communicate with, loves animals (which you can immediately tell by how much your animals will love him!), and easy to work with. He helped us last minute while we were traveling and in a pinch! On the ball ! Thank you”

About: I’ve grown up on a farm loving animals. I currently have two dogs myself and just love the opportunity to make a pet’s day part of my day. I do work a full time job currently but have plenty of time in the evening to drop in on your pet. Eventually, I’m hoping to make this more of a full time schedule. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I’m happy to let them out, take them for walks, spend time for snuggles or play and even feed them a meal if necessary.

About: I love my friend’s and family’s pets like they are my own! I am intentional and ask questions when learning from owners how to best interact with their pet(s). I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats, up to two of each at the same time. I prioritize playtime and being active with any pet I’m responsible for. I’m comfortable with both cats and dogs, and can adapt my skills and schedule based on their unique needs. I am ready to support pet owners with short-term drop ins, frequent walks for high energy pets, and extended stays. My work schedule grants me availability to help pet owners during busy vacation times and holiday seasons. I am available to care for pets in their own home. I aim to ease any stress by keeping their environment familiar and maintaining their usual schedule as much as possible.
About: I am taking a break from working in healthcare and have two pet kitties of my own plus a bonus pet beagle with my grandparents, so I am not only dedicated to helping people, but I love helping our furry friends too! I’d love to take your furry loved one(s) for a walk--we could use fresh air and fun! I am also open to pet sitting—I have my own reliable transportation. I’m currently taking a break from working in healthcare and have more time to spend doing other things I love such as being around and caring for animals. I have my own reliable transportation to get to wherever is needed such as your home, a dog park, the vet, etc. I am open to care for, sit, and/or walk (if you have a dog or harness/trained cat) your furry friend!
About: Hello! I have been raised with animals all my life and I have experience providing basic care for cats and dogs! I love animals and I would love to help your furry creature out! I am free early morning and evenings. I can drive to your place to care for your furry animals! I work a typical 8-5 so I am available before or after for care. I’m use to watching large dogs in un-fenced yards and having to crate one of them when I leave. Also use to either just taking them out to go or taking them on long 20-30 minute walks so they can get their exercise.

“Stacy took really good care of my cat, Lily while I was away! I always hate leaving my cat when I'm away, but it was good to know that someone was taking such good care of her! I got updates everyday and Stacy would stay even longer than I asked her to play with Lily and make sure Lily was happy =)”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
