I’m currently attending graduate school in Des Moines, which gives me a flexible schedule to care for your pets throughout the week. I have time in the mornings, between classes, and in the evenings to walk, play with, and check in on your furry friends. Spending time with dogs is one of the best parts of my day, and I always make sure each pet gets the attention and care they deserve.

Before I care for your pet, I like to know a few key details to make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and happy. Please share: Health concerns: Any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or limitations I should be aware of. Routines & preferences: How you usually handle feeding, walks, playtime, or bedtime so I can keep things consistent. Behavioral notes: Anything that might worry or stress your pet (like loud noises, other animals, or certain situations). Non-medical concerns: Quirks or habits that aren’t medical but are still important to know — for example, if they get nervous during storms, don’t like car rides, or try to sneak food.
A typical day
When I’m caring for your pets, they’ll get plenty of love and playtime! I’ll take them on nice walks, play fetch to burn off energy, brush their coats to keep them looking great, and give baths if needed. I also love adding in other fun activities like tug-of-war, puzzle toys, cuddle time, and even teaching simple tricks if they’re up for it. My goal is to keep your pets happy, active, and feeling loved while you’re away!

I’ve spent years caring for and training my own two dogs, so I understand that every pup has their own personality and needs. My experience working in a kennel gave me hands-on knowledge of dog behavior, group play, and handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Whether your dog is a playful puppy or a gentle senior, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for—just like my own.
