About: Dogs and cats are my first priority whenever I'm over at a friend or family member's house. My brother had asthma so we re-homed our dog Sylvie when I was seven years old--I have some very dramatic journal articles from that time! So, whenever I got to be around pets, I gave them as much of my attention as they were interested in. I am now lucky enough to have my own dog (Shannon, the goldendoodle in my profile picture) but can never get enough time with dogs and cats!! Over the summer my schedule is relatively flexible, so if your dog needs a walk or your cat needs to be fed at any time throughout the day, I should be able to make it work! My goal is to maintain your pet's routine as much as possible! I can spend one-on-one time with them, take them out, or just check on them as the situation requires.
“Krystal is absolutely amazing! Our dog Nova is scared of all strangers. Krystal was so patient and kind to Nova and was able to gain her trust. I highly recommend Krystal to anyone needing someone to care for their dog!!”

“Brad was top notch, we’re so happy we found him! Our dogs were happy and healthy when we got back home from vacation. Brad was punctual and we didn’t have to worry at all with our dogs in his hands. In fact, we immediately booked again with Brad and look forward to having him back. Thank you so much, Brad!”

“Amanda is so caring for my animals. I had to run for an emergency and she came to rescue, executed everything perfectly and gave me peace of mind and heart that my pet was given love and comfort and cared for when I had to run out of town. Thank you so much it means the world.”
“Sarah was amazing, same as previous times! Very dependable, she answers quickly, our cat loves her. We can enjoy days out knowing we’re trusting our cat to the best cat sitter. Thank you dear Sarah!”

“Daniel was amazing! He took great care of our German Shepherd on extremely short notice. Sent pictures and consistent updates! We will use him again and highly recommend Daniel!”

About: I’ve grown up on a farm loving animals. I currently have two dogs myself and just love the opportunity to make a pet’s day part of my day. I do work a full time job currently but have plenty of time in the evening to drop in on your pet. Eventually, I’m hoping to make this more of a full time schedule. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I’m happy to let them out, take them for walks, spend time for snuggles or play and even feed them a meal if necessary.
“I have 2 cats, one shy elderly lady, and one rambunctious 4 month old boy kitten. Talia was fabulous with both of them, playing with my kitten, and giving my shy girl her space. She was great with providing updates and photos, and is very responsive to messages, giving me peace of mind when I was away. I highly recommend Talia, and will not hesitate to use her again the next time I travel.”

About: Ive dog sit for friends and family at their home. Taking care of them in their own personal environment. Clients home care would to be following their rules/routines for their pet. I work a full time job but i am able to leave once or twice during my shift to take care of the animals in your home! I will stop by and let them outside and play with them for a bit during my shift. About: I've been around animals my whole life - dogs, cats, guinea pigs, turtles, geckos, fish, even as a care taker for great apes! I love animals whole-heartedly and focus my career around them. I've raised and trained puppies in the past and am now looking to get my animal fix by helping more pets in my spare time! I'm currently working full-time at a rehab facility for animals as a rehab technician, so I’m around dogs and cats all the time! I don’t work on the weekends, either! Working in the animal world my whole life, I aim to create a safe and enriching environment for any animal I take care of. I will make sure their routines stay as consistent as possible to allow them to feel most normal, and will add in extra enriching activities to make the experience as positive and rewarding as possible.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Windsor Heights with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
