“Madelyn was an INCREDIBLE cat sitter!!! She was watching my cat, Zero, for 5 days while I was out of town. Let me start by saying, I adopted Zero from an abusive home and so he tends to be cold towards or uninterested in new people before he gets to know them. HOWEVER, the first time Madelyn came over to meet Zero, he was immediately locked in on her, rubbing his body on her legs, and rolling around on his back exposing his tummy. This made me super confident in Madelyn's sincere ability to connect with animals. I had absolutely not a single worry leaving Zero in her hands for the week. She was also really wonderful about communicating throughout the week with updates and was super easy going when the front door to my apartment complex was having issues. I really cannot recommend her enough! Your furry critters will be in great hands!”

About: I grew up around dogs & cats of all kinds! I have been a solo pet owner for 8+ years & have 2 dogs, a cat, and 2 birds in my home. I am able to care for reactive dogs, diabetic cats/dogs, and know how to operate an E/Collar. I work for Rover because being around animals is a passion of mine & I am always open to helping out! I have flexible hours during my work week (between 7AM-11AM and 2PM-9PM specifically) and I am available on weekends! Anytime after 6pm, I can be there for your pets. If your pet stays in my home, I live close to Gray's Lake & Waterworks Park.. making it easy for us to get out and explore. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for them in different settings. I grew up with dogs and have been pet sitting for both dogs and cats for many years. I have also worked at a doggy daycare, where I gained experience working with a variety of different breeds and temperaments, as well as managing group play. Beyond companion animals, I have professional experience as a zoo keeper and animal behavior researcher. I have worked at the Cincinnati Zoo and currently work at the Ape Initiative, where I am responsible for the daily husbandry of six bonobos. I helped with his day-to-day care, attended events with him, and administered allergy shots.
