“Sarah we great and the girls loved her! My dog Gizzy has special needs (deaf and blind). She requires eye drops multiple times a day. Sarah did a wonderful job ensuring Gizzy received all the medications she needed. She did a great job with my other dog Meeko also. Meeko is a rescue and had some unpleasant experiences in her past. Sarah was great with her, knew just how to help Meeko learn to trust her and they became friends quickly. I would recommend Sarah for all you pets care and needs. Jenny D.”

About: Hello! My name is Sarah, but I go by Sam. Thank you so much for your consideration! Ever since I was a child, I’ve always loved having pets. There was hardly a time when I didn’t have some kind of companion in my life. Growing up, I had a variety of different pets, but most of my experience is with dogs, cats, birds, and rodents! However, I love all kinds of creatures (I’ve even had tarantulas)! These days, my boyfriend and I share an Aussie named Newman that we love to spoil. I’m a former doggy daycare attendant and dog groomer, so I have some experience handling pets of varying energy levels and temperaments. I also have some experience with pets that have special needs. This is my only job and my main source of income (I do sometimes volunteer my free time with Iowa Bird Rehabilitation doing transport), so when I’m sitting your pup, I’m sitting FULL TIME! It’s something I enjoy doing, and I’ve found that I get the most joy out of spending time taking care of client’s pets. Some day I do hope to go to school for something animal behavior or social service related, but I’m still trying to figure that out! I’m very understanding and adaptable to whatever schedule you’ve got set for your pets, so that they still have the sense of security that comes from having a routine! During house sittings, I ALWAYS offer overnight care to ensure your pets have someone to spend time with them around the clock. I always keep a close eye when at home with pets to ensure nothing goes awry, and I always make sure they are safely secured if they need to be left alone for a period of time. Water is always made available unless otherwise specified. I love to spoil pets with treats when I can but I’m very good at following instructions if they have a strict diet, physical limitations, medications, etc.
“I’ve booked with Nejra quite a few times now and she is wonderful with Roxanne every time. She takes great care of my girl, described everything she did with her, and makes sure to send lots of pics!”

“While we debated having someone come check in on the cats while we were going for two nights, we are glad we had Sara come. We ended up having a water leak with water dripping through the ceiling. Sara let us know about this and put towels and bowls under the drips to lessen the damage from the water. Thank you, Sara! :)”

“Alexandra is the answer to my prayers! She is kind, caring, has great communication, and is conscientious not only of my dogs but of my home! I’ve already booked with her!”

“Rachel did a great job taking care of Remy and spoiling him while we were away. Our pup is very timid and he did great with her. She also hauled in quite a few packages that arrived earlier than expected before they could get soaked with snow!”

“Austin was very attentive to my 2 cats. He took plenty of photos and communicated with me very well. I will definitely have Austin check on my kitties again. He anleviated any and all worries that I had while traveling without my cats.”

“Krystal is absolutely amazing! Our dog Nova is scared of all strangers. Krystal was so patient and kind to Nova and was able to gain her trust. I highly recommend Krystal to anyone needing someone to care for their dog!!”

“We booked Lisa last minute and she made it a point to come to our house to meet Murphy prior to the visits. Her visits went very well and she provided us with great info and photos. Murphy loved her! We’ll definitely book with Lisa in the future.”

“Kelly was great with our dog! She was vert responsive, timely, and did a great job communicating with us during her drop-in visits. She also went above and beyond while taking our dog on a walk during one of her visits. I highly recommend Kelly!”

“Dachshunds approved. I booked Morgan for drop in visits while we were out of town. I was kind of nervous on how my 2 judgy wienerdogs would do, but somehow she won them over, and the pictures she sent proved it. So happy it all worked out.”

“My animals love Cory. He goes above and beyond, even taking my ten year old Pom Lily home with him during tornado warnings. I never have to worry with Cory taking care of my animals. He’s very responsible and kind.”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life! I have two dogs myself who are my whole life. I’ve spent so much time learning about dogs and different breeds. I have also worked at a boarding and daycare facility for almost two years. I am currently working full time at a retail store. I do have an hour long break where I can go home to let the dogs out to pee and for a short walk. If you don’t mind the working schedule then I would love to house ur animals. I take my dogs for a walk every morning and night. I also come home on my break to give them some love. I also have a big apartment dog park that the dogs can go and play in.
About: Dogs have always had a special place in my heart, and loving them comes naturally! They seem to sense it too- most pups are quick to show their belly and overload with kisses in my care! Over the years, that love has grown through meaningful, hands-on experiences with dogs of all ages and breeds. I’ve watched our family Shih Tzu, Bule, grow from a spirited pup into his senior years, learning firsthand how to take extra precautions for aging joints, slower movement, and changing routines while still keeping him comfortable. In the last few years, I’ve also gained great experience through our family Lab, Max, and by finally having a fur baby of my own! Last summer, my boyfriend and I welcomed Ava, our mini Goldendoodle (known as Ava Bear, because she’s truly a real-life teddy bear.) Being her owner has given me full experience with puppy training, structure, consistency, attentiveness (and energy!) that comes with raising a dog. Ava is well socialized, gentle, and used to being around other dogs (big dogs are her favorite) making her a great companion in our home. Throughout college, I spent several years house sitting and staying overnight for families with dogs, which quickly became one of my favorite parts of nannying. One of my most memorable experiences was caring for Kota, a German Shepherd with the biggest heart. Getting texts from her family asking me to stay overnight with her was always something I truly looked forward to; a level of trust I never took lightly. Whether it’s senior care, puppy training, or overnight companionship, I’m adaptable, attentive, and committed to treating every dog as if they’re my own. 🤎 I work fully remote, which means pet care fits easily into my everyday life. Being home throughout the day allows me to give frequent potty breaks, meals right on schedule, playtime, walks, and lots of one-on-one attention instead of long stretches alone. I’m very flexible and happy to follow your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable, relaxed, and right at home. We love our nights in on the weekend, so that’s a bonus for you! We love a safe, calm, and loving environment! Ava Bear, our sweet mini Goldendoodle, is a great companion and is used to sharing her space (and toys) with other dogs! We have a walking trail right outside our door, which makes daily walks and outdoor time easy and consistent. Ava is a pup who thrives on her three walks a day, so long walks, fresh air, and exercise are already built into our routine. I’m also mindful about mental stimulation and enrichment — I enjoy making homemade dog treats and using interactive enrichment toys like puzzle feeders, snuffle mats, and treat-dispensing toys to keep dogs engaged. I’m comfortable with crate training and can easily crate a dog if that’s part of their normal routine/ needed for safety and comfort. Safety is #1: I closely follow instructions, keep a clean and secure environment, monitor behavior and interactions, and communicate regularly with updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, and right at home- whether that’s under my roof or yours!
“Brad does a great job for us. He is always prompt and sends us pictures during every visit. Our two 75 lb rowdies were very happy and well cared for. We will definitely continue to use Brad to care for our dogs when we're out of town.”

“Jessica was fantastic! She really listened to our concerns beforehand and took everything we said into account. She gave us detailed reviews for each visit and was friendly to both us and our pets. We will absolutely be hiring her for petsitting again!”
