Pet care experience

Your pup’s newest favorite bestie!

Dogs have always had a special place in my heart, and loving them comes naturally! They seem to sense it too- most pups are quick to show their belly and overload with kisses in my care! Over the years, that love has grown through meaningful, hands-on experiences with dogs of all ages and breeds. I’ve watched our family Shih Tzu, Bule, grow from a spirited pup into his senior years, learning firsthand how to take extra precautions for aging joints, slower movement, and changing routines while still keeping him comfortable. In the last few years, I’ve also gained great experience through our family Lab, Max, and by finally having a fur baby of my own! Last summer, my boyfriend and I welcomed Ava, our mini Goldendoodle (known as Ava Bear, because she’s truly a real-life teddy bear.) Being her owner has given me full experience with puppy training, structure, consistency, attentiveness (and energy!) that comes with raising a dog. Ava is well socialized, gentle, and used to being around other dogs (big dogs are her favorite) making her a great companion in our home. Throughout college, I spent several years house sitting and staying overnight for families with dogs, which quickly became one of my favorite parts of nannying. One of my most memorable experiences was caring for Kota, a German Shepherd with the biggest heart. Getting texts from her family asking me to stay overnight with her was always something I truly looked forward to; a level of trust I never took lightly. Whether it’s senior care, puppy training, or overnight companionship, I’m adaptable, attentive, and committed to treating every dog as if they’re my own. 🤎

Safety, trust & environment

We love a safe, calm, and loving environment! Ava Bear, our sweet mini Goldendoodle, is a great companion and is used to sharing her space (and toys) with other dogs! We have a walking trail right outside our door, which makes daily walks and outdoor time easy and consistent. Ava is a pup who thrives on her three walks a day, so long walks, fresh air, and exercise are already built into our routine. I’m also mindful about mental stimulation and enrichment — I enjoy making homemade dog treats and using interactive enrichment toys like puzzle feeders, snuffle mats, and treat-dispensing toys to keep dogs engaged. I’m comfortable with crate training and can easily crate a dog if that’s part of their normal routine/ needed for safety and comfort. Safety is #1: I closely follow instructions, keep a clean and secure environment, monitor behavior and interactions, and communicate regularly with updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, and right at home- whether that’s under my roof or yours!

Angela did such a great job watching my three pups over the Fourth of July weekend! My weimareiner has anxiety, and Angela pulled out all the tricks to keep her calm with picture updates. She was also kind enough to bring our packages in, (they weren’t small..) and she cleaned up the house before our arrival back. Her attention to detail in the home, communication skills, and seeing how my three pups warmed up to her are all the reasons we would recommend her to anyone else. We will definitely be booking with Angela in the future!

Angie did a terrific job taking care of our dog Teddy. She kept in contact with us and sent photos daily. Teddy is a senior dog who requires medication and is a very picky eater. She was able to met all his needs and took the extra time to make him steak and other food to add to his kibble. When we came home from our trip our dog was happy and healthy and our house was very clean. Angie went above and beyond and cleaned the house and took out our trash! She even offered to throw the bed sheets in the washer before she left. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a house sitter.

Angela was so sweet with my dog! She came for a meet and greet and I and my dog were immediately comfortable with her. She gave my boy so much love and provided check ins with photos every time. He was so happy and well taken care of while I was away. I’m happy to have found Angela and to know that my pup was in such good hands!

Angie was truly phenomenal—we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was so kind, responsive, and incredibly accommodating, especially with our puppy. Her communication was excellent and gave us total peace of mind knowing our dogs were so well cared for. It was so clear how much love and attention she gave them. We would trust Angie again in a heartbeat and cannot recommend her highly enough. She’s an absolute gem!

Angela did a fantastic job with our Wally! She was flexible in sitting longer hours when needed and was very easy to work with. Her dog Ava loved Wally and it helped out so much to get our puppy some socialization with other dogs. I’d recommend her to anyone needing someone to watch their dog(s).

Schedule

I work fully remote, which means pet care fits easily into my everyday life. Being home throughout the day allows me to give frequent potty breaks, meals right on schedule, playtime, walks, and lots of one-on-one attention instead of long stretches alone. I’m very flexible and happy to follow your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable, relaxed, and right at home. We love our nights in on the weekend, so that’s a bonus for you!
