“Adrianna was great! I really appreciated how she sent pictures and updates with every visit. It gave me so much peace of mind while I was away! Overall, wonderful experience.”

About: I have always had a dog in my family since I was born! I had dog sat for friends and coworkers for as long as a week at a time. I am working full time with a non profit so my hours are pretty flexible. I would take care of pets in the morning before I go to work and they would be my first stop when I head home. I would respect the clients property and their rules and routines! Making sure everything is clean if not cleaner when how I found it! Nothing is better then coming home from a trip to a clean place!
“Zoe did a great job taking care of our big pit bull and our ornery terrier puppy this last week. She did an excellent job of letting us know when there were concerns, brought in packages from the porch, and even offered to clean up the muddy paw prints that our boys trekked in while we were gone. Definitely plan to use this service (and request Zoe if possible).”

“Elizabeth was a great communicator. She sent me photos and short videos of my cat each day that she cared for him. It made me feel better to see him and know he was OK. She brushed him regularly, and the litter box was clean when I got home. I was happy with her services and will ask her to care for my pet again when I go on vacation.”

“Alisa wa able to get my shy kitty to come out and play. I had a friend come in the mornings and she said Rosie would come sniff her food the retreat to the bedroom. Next time I will use Alisa for all visits, she is wonderful.”

“Lauren was great! Needed someone last minute to let my dogs out while I was gone for the night and she offered to make additional trips to let them out and sent me pictures and updates.”

“Megan was able to make a home visit in the middle of the day on short notice. Though she was there a short duration, she still sent pictures. We could tell our dog was happy to see her again.”

“Kendra is so wonderful! She noticed that my cat was out of food and gave him more for me. And my dog really emits her visits too! We’ll be requesting her services again, I highly recommended her if you need any help with your fur babies!! and... She is always right on time”
“Nejra is the best!! She was amazing with my cat and he loved spending time with her! She even went out of her way to clean up messes he would create as cats do. Also cleaned the litter box for me as I was gone. She helped ease the anxiety of leaving my pet alone. Would recommend to anyone needing a pet sitter!”

“Sylvia did a great job checking in on my puppy, Max! We met up the day before to show her around and go over everything she needed to know to take him on a walk, feed him, and play with him for a while while I was out. She asked great questions and provided updates while she was there! I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.”

“Vivian is great! I'm new to Rover and she's been very understanding. She communicates well and followed thru with a meet and greet and her first visit with update and pictures exactly as promised! My pup seemed to love her right away meeting and Vivian even remembered we are working on not jumping on people to tell me how she did. I already have her booked for more days next week and am feeling much more at ease. 😊”

“Morgan was great! I appreciated the pictures and communication while I was away. She gave me peace of mind and took wonderful care of my animals! I’ll definitely rebook with her in the future.”

“Austin took great care of our two shy cats while we were away for almost three weeks! He took a couple of surprises in stride and was very attentive and communicative. Really gave me a lot of peace of mind!”

“Jenevieve is the very best. She does so well with out Tabby Cat Albert. I forgot to leave the door open to his liter box and she clean up everything. He did not have another accident. She sent the most adorable photos. I knew he was in the best care. Thank you so much!! Jill”

Sylvia won the trust of even our shyest with ease and our feeble old senior cat seemed not a bit stressed when we returned. It seemed like the pet areas were cleaner than we left them and all instructions were followed to a tee. The picture reports were fun and reassuring. 10 of 10.

Kady responded promptly to my sitting request! Once she arrived she was very calm and respectful to my dog who I explained is super nervous & timid the first time she meets anyone new. My dog had no issues with her. We will be using Kadys services in the future! 5/5 recommend!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
