Pet care experience

I have taken care of and had a love for animals ever since I was little. Having grandparents who owned a farm I was always around stray kittens. I loved to care for them! I have rescued a few kittens as well. One being my parents cat, a couple for friends, and a past cat we owned. I briefly volunteered at an animal shelter in middle school and early high school. I have always had a pet cat at home ever since I was born! I currently own two cats as well. I am very knowledgeable when it comes to cats. Even though I have not had as much experience with dogs, I still am comfortable around them and have taken care of them while their owners are out of town! Every once in a while over the years I have taken care of family members or friends cats while they have been out of town!

Grace is so loving to our cat when we travel. We never worry and the biggest plus is that our cat Purl loves her.

Schedule
I am a full time student and majority of the time I work part time hours at Childserve and UnityPoint as a Respiratory Care tech! My schedule will vary but I am happy to fit your pet into my routine!

Pets
A typical day
For cats I will brush them and play with them! I do know how to trim claws. I prefer smaller dogs. I am more comfortable taking care of dogs that I don’t know well that are smaller. I can take them on walks and play with them!
