About: When I was 10, my family rescued a stranded kitten, sparking my lifelong love of cats. About: I have personally had a pet or 3 since I was 13 years old. I begged for a cat for years and once I got one, I never have been without at least one pet. I have been volunteering with the ARL since 2005. I have had 30+ foster dogs through them as well. I just love animals. I do have weekends blocked but just ask about availability! I am retired. I enjoy going for walks with dogs and depending on the dog spending time outside in my fenced in backyard. I have a 6 foot fence. Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. The "regulars" get to sleep in our beds while our guests get other accommodations. It makes for better harmony for us. Because we foster on a regular basis our animals are very used to different dogs coming into our home. Our home is pretty quiet and relaxing.

“Dropped Sydney off and safe to say she felt comfortable as she trotted downstairs on her own and disappeared around the corner. Safe home and they took care of my dog. Sent updates and pics throughout her stay. I felt comfortable leaving her there and never worried about her being in their hands. Not to mention hey have a big super sweet mastiff mix of their own.
