About: I have personally had a pet or 3 since I was 13 years old. I begged for a cat for years and once I got one, I never have been without at least one pet. I have been volunteering with the ARL since 2005. I have had 30+ foster dogs through them as well. I just love animals. I do have weekends blocked but just ask about availability! I am retired. I enjoy going for walks with dogs and depending on the dog spending time outside in my fenced in backyard. I have a 6 foot fence. Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. The "regulars" get to sleep in our beds while our guests get other accommodations. It makes for better harmony for us. Because we foster on a regular basis our animals are very used to different dogs coming into our home. Our home is pretty quiet and relaxing.

About: I have been a pet parent for over 15 years. I currently have a 4 year old German shorthair pointer named Draco and a 11 year old cat named Rubeus. Draco is a big goofy lover. Very good with other dogs. We recently lost our older dog and Draco is missing having a buddy to run around with. I am a stay at home mom so I am home most of the day. We are very active with playing in the yard and going for walks. I have a huge fenced in yard and live walking distance to a couple parks. Dogs are free to roam my home and be on furniture. She was very good at communicating with us by sending picture and video updates but not over the top where it was too much. Our dog Zeus had a blast and we would definitely have him stay with her and her family again!”
