About: I've had dogs since the day I was born, and responsibly started taking care of them since I was around 10 years old. I've taken care of dogs from 8 weeks old to 16 years. As an adult, I've had 2 dogs and have cared for them in their crazy puppyhood to more gentle yet demanding senior care. As your dog sitter, I can provide enrichment via walks, playing, and basic tricks and skills you want me to work on with your dog. I can feed and refresh water bowls. I can help with medication if needed. I am happy to care for any of your pets' needs during a visit. I treat my all of my pets like my children and I am so excited to start caring for yours! I am a teacher currently on summer vacation. I am free to work during the week and some weekends from around 11-3 for drop in visits or walks. Once the school year starts back up, I may be available during holiday breaks and some weekends. Expect thorough reports and cute photos after a sitting or walk. As a regular user of Rover services myself, I know what I like and want from my sitters, so I will put that into my work. I will enter the home however is most comfortable with the client and lock the home back up when I leave. All walks will be leashed or contained in a stroller. I do not offer off-leash walks for the safety and liability of myself, your pet, and anyone we might encounter. If your pet is crated, I will crate them again when I leave. I will only enter spaces necessary for the care of the pet.

About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and needs. My corgi, Vinnie, had back and hip issues later in life, which taught me the importance of attentive and compassionate care. Growing up with labs and sharing nearly 10 wonderful years with Vinnie, I’ve developed a deep love for dogs. Over the past 20 years, I’ve helped friends and family care for their pets, always treating each animal like part of the family. I prioritize providing personalized, one-on-one care, and only in rare cases will I care for more than one dog or one family’s pets at a time. My volunteer work with the ARL has also given me valuable experience with a variety of breeds and unique needs. I work from home and can care for your pet throughout the day. I am willing to do long and short walks, or just play with your pet! Playing, cuddles, walks, potty breaks, whatever they need! I am very good at recognizing the tells for various dogs. I can usually tell when they need to go outside, need water, or are anxious. I will adjust to what the dogs need and am a very open communicator. My house is clean and safe for pets. I do have stairs in my home, but am willing to work with dogs who need additional support.

About: I have worked as a Supervisor at Wags Pet Resort and Hotel in Ankeny, IA for 5 years in October! I have worked with all different personalities, types, ages, sizes, and behavior of dogs. I have gained a lot of knowledge about dogs and the best ways to work with them based on their personalities and behaviors! I have pretty open availability on the weekends and randomly throughout the weekdays! I will be as flexible as possible and willing to work with your schedule! I have a dog of my own so I understand what it takes to care for an animal inside a home. I would let your pet out multiple times during the day and stay outside and play with them to help wear their energy out. I think it is important for your pet to be outside and running around or just getting attention depending on their behavior and moods! About: As a dog mama myself, I understand that our dogs are more than just our pets. They’re an integral part of our family! I strive to provide them with the necessary care they need, but also the enrichment they need to thrive and live a happy life. I love to play with them, take them out for walks, and provide them with love and pets. I'm always mindful that all pets should be greeted with a slow introduction, that does not come off as intrusive, or threatening. Even the most social pets, can behave differently when an unfamiliar person enters their home while family is not present. I always take that into consideration upon each visit, as I get to know your dog/cat, and build a trusting relationship. Whether your pet goes out on a leash, uses a fenced in yard, or requires potty pads to go to the bathroom, I'll follow your instructions as discussed through the Rover app, or during our initial "meet and greet". About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and currently have four cats that I’ve cared for for the past four years. Growing up, my family always had dogs ranging from small to large breeds, so I’m comfortable with all sizes and personalities. I’ve also helped care for family members’ dogs over the years, including feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m reliable, patient, and truly enjoy being around animals. I always try to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for just like they would at home. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I’m already used to caring for animals every day with my own pets. I’m a teacher, so during the summers I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability to help with walks, drop-ins, feedings, or overnight care. I enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care is something I genuinely look forward to being part of my routine. About: I have had animals in my home since I was a child. I got my own puppy about 10 years ago and trained him to be a guard dog during my time as a missionary in west Africa. I love animals and treat them like family. I currently work remotely from home, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule when I’m not traveling. I am very attentive to the animals in my care! I currently don’t live in a home that allows pets, but I have had a lot of experience taking care of people’s pets and homes while they have been away.

About: I have a rescue dog and have worked with other rescues. I have experience in working with shy dogs who need a little more attention. I will love and take care of your pet like it’s my own! I have a golden retriever (Murphy) and a cat (Harlow) and I spend a lot of time with these cuties. I work full time but I love making time for the fur babies. I don’t have anything toxic for pets in my home that they could get into and I don’t feed my pets table scraps just in case.
