About: As a dog mama myself, I understand that our dogs are more than just our pets. They’re an integral part of our family! I strive to provide them with the necessary care they need, but also the enrichment they need to thrive and live a happy life. I love to play with them, take them out for walks, and provide them with love and pets. It’s important to me that they are not just physically cared for, but they are mentally stimulated through play and emotionally cared for at every visit. I'm always mindful that all pets should be greeted with a slow introduction, that does not come off as intrusive, or threatening. Even the most social pets, can behave differently when an unfamiliar person enters their home while family is not present. I always take that into consideration upon each visit, as I get to know your dog/cat, and build a trusting relationship. Whether your pet goes out on a leash, uses a fenced in yard, or requires potty pads to go to the bathroom, I'll follow your instructions as discussed through the Rover app, or during our initial "meet and greet". Requested information about your pet -Medication schedule -Behavioral issues that may affect walking your pet on public sidewalks, history of biting or aggression while being fed. -Ongoing medical conditions -Vet number and/or emergency contact I currently work on a hybrid schedule - 3 days in West Des Moines and 2 days at home in Ankeny. I have a flexible schedule where I can pop around to your pet when needed. I have a heart for animals along with the patience needed to give quality pet care. Your pet will always come first and I would treat them as if they are my own.

About: I trained both of my childhood dogs fun tricks. I am familiar with taking care of puppies up till senior dogs. I am comfortable with walks/bathroom trips (picking up feces if need be), feedings and medicine administration. I work part time, I take care of my two cats perfectly. My schedule if very flexible working most mornings and partly through a mid day a couple days a week. I live on a first floor apartment with a pond and trail close! I have two cat and lots a space for another fluffy friend to stay.

About: I take care of my friends and coworkers young to old dogs. I love taking dogs for long walks! I take a priority in knowing what the pets daily routines are. I have a flexible work schedule so watch dogs/ cats and walk dogs. I prefer to have a 2 days notice when booking for watching or walks. During the week, I work 8:00 to 4:30. I would prefer to watch dogs in the home who can be left alone for 8 hours at a time. I like to visit the client’s home before I watch the pets and see their routines. I love to ask questions for the best care.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was very young. I’m very patient and love animals so much. I travel too much to have a dog full time so this opportunity is perfect for me. I have 3 boys that are absolute animals lovers. My 16 year old often times likes to come play with or walk dogs with me. He’s a great asset in helping burn some energy of your fur babies while you’re away. Please let me know if you or your pet are not comfortable with this. My schedule is flexible. I do travel for work but I know well I’m advance so I can make my availability open to other things. Your pets safety is my number one concern. If I am coming to you I will follow the rules you already have in place for them and try to adhere to that if they come to me as well.

About: Please read till the end…I have had cats my entire life, and have nothing to give to them, but love. However, only within the past 2 years have I had dogs. And boy, have I learned a lot. But, I took on two dachshund puppies at the same time, and if anyone knows much about small dogs, you know that is a nightmare/dream come true all in one. I currently have cats, dogs, my bunny, rats, fish…so, many animals in my home. And they are all happy and healthy, and loved. I have indeed been called “the animal whisperer” because people come over and are always baffled at how well my animals get along. I love animals more than anything, and their happiness is very important to me… I myself, may have a lot of animals, but I am by no means rich, or financially stable at the moment, so I understand the struggle of finding an an affordable pet sitter. PLEASE reach out to me if you cannot afford my prices, and we can work something out!! Ready to start right away!! As someone who views my animals as my children, it can feel like a full time job. But, I am very good at planning and spacing out enough time for everyone to get all the attention they need. And I am wanting to switch to a full time position as a pet sitter. Unfortunately, most care would have to be done at the clients home, because my animals (my dogs) Love other people and other dogs, but I do not feel comfortable putting that stress on my cats. However, I am reliable, I clean the cat boxes every day, and my dogs are out of the kennel as much as they possibly can be. They never smell too bad, kennel environment and cleanliness is very important to me, when it comes to their health and comfort. However, I do stick to my firmness and want them to feel like they can be themselves, but to also know that they need to listen.

About: Taken care of neighbors dogs all my life. Have one mini schnauzer at home of our own who we adore. Would love to care for your fur baby I work remotely, so I am pretty flexible. I can work around just about any schedule. Free during the day to walk dogs/potty breaks etc. I don’t plan on taking dogs into my own home unless circumstances permit. Would have to be the right situation. I prefer to stop by for potty breaks/visits or walks.

About: I’ve taken care of my own pets and pets for family and friends. I’m excited to meet your sweet pet and get to know them! I’m working, but my schedule is flexible during the week. I can do morning, afternoon, or evening walks. I can also drop by during daytime. I care for my pets through preventative care, making sure they’re uptodate on their shots and that they are getting enough attention at the house.

About: I have been cpr certified for animals. Working with dogs for 3 years has given me a good insight on their behaviors. I enjoy getting to see animals grow into their full personalities. Hopefully I can bond with a couple animals and make them as excited to see me as I am to see them. I have experience with puppies as young as 8 weeks and dogs as old as 15/16. Currently work full time hours as a part time employee at Sam’s club, I can adjust my hours/ days accordingly. I can do weekend overnights no issue. I personally cannot have animals come to my home. I will offer morning, afternoon, and 2 night breaks for dogs and times can change if needed for medications. Willing to do overnights. Cats will get a morning and night visit 30 minutes minimum to play and entertain them if they want it.
