About: I grew up in the country. We always had at least 2 dogs and 2 cats at our home. I can keep your pets safe and happy. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I plan to get another dog here around July, so until then, I have plenty of time to look after yours. I typically will let dogs out to use the restroom or just play every 2 hours. I like to use positive reinforcement, treats, and affection while looking after animals. I realy enjoy spending time with dogs.

About: Let me introduce myself. I am Christina and the proud owner of a Yorkie named Maggie, American Eskimo dog named Dewey and a Morkie named Harley. I am home every evening and are pretty flexible with our work hours. Our dogs are very well socialized and spoiled. Maggie loves her toys, Dewey loves to run, and Harley loves to sleep. I am very patient and consistent with my dogs. I enjoy teaching them new tricks and keeping them stimulated. I have five children, ages 13 to 19, that may not all be at the house at the same time . The kids are very helpful with taking the dogs for walks, feeding them and playing with them outside or inside. We live in a clean, smoke free 5 bedroom home. We have a large area to run and play. We live on 8 acres and take the dogs for walks often. Our deck is the length of the house and the animals enjoy spending time sunning themselves or watching birds, deer, etc. I work full time, am usually home by 5:00 pm and off in the summer (June and July). My husband works sales and has a very flexible work schedule. I enjoy teaching dogs new tricks and keeping them stimulated. I have five children, ages 13 to 19, that may not all be at the house at the same time . About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and currently have four cats that I’ve cared for for the past four years. Growing up, my family always had dogs ranging from small to large breeds, so I’m comfortable with all sizes and personalities. I’ve also helped care for family members’ dogs over the years, including feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m reliable, patient, and truly enjoy being around animals. I always try to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for just like they would at home. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I’m already used to caring for animals every day with my own pets. I’m a teacher, so during the summers I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability to help with walks, drop-ins, feedings, or overnight care. I enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care is something I genuinely look forward to being part of my routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of attention and playtime, and go on walks or potty breaks as needed. I also make sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m respectful of each client’s home and always keep things clean, organized, and well cared for.

About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from local rescues. I recently earned a bachelors degree in animal science and currently attend veterinary school at ISU. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! Pet care is built into my schedule and comes as second nature to me now after being immersed in it for so long. On average, a minimum of 3-5 hours of my day are dedicated to my animals. I enjoy taking my dog on multiple walks a day, of varying lengths, to ensure he has enough mental stimulation and exercise to meet his needs. Training is also a constant in my household, whether that be scheduled training sessions, or simply consistent work throughout daily tasks. I find it important to build a bond with my animals as well as those I meet, and training helps strengthen that bond. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) and training exercises are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied and stimulated. I take pride in keeping my environment and my animals’ clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food and water bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.

About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.

About: From keeping care of my family pets in the absence of my parents at a young age to spending late nights as a sitter for neighbors’ dogs, I have taken careful care of dogs in all shapes and sizes since I was twelve. I love snuggling and bonding with dogs, and I adore being there for them when their furball parents are unable to be with them. I’m a part-time worker at a hotel on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I work the evening shifts from 3-11pm. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I’m available to spend time with your pups all day! I love walking, and I would love to take your dog on my daily five mile walk with me as a fluffy partner in crime. I strive to create a friendly and loving environment for the doggies I watch. By providing them with quality time such as walking, playing with toys, or simply lying on the couch together, I will give your pup a space of peace and care while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I would look after friends, families, and neighbors pets while they are away. Everyone in my life knows I am a very trusted person. I am currently a student at Aveda Institute Tuesday-Friday, and I babysit on Mondays. Pet sitting is a perfect fit for me on the weekends. I am able to work with any pet and cater to their needs whether they are a very energetic dog or a senior citizen dog who needs some more love. I am more than willing to accommodate to everyone's needs.

About: I have lots of experience working with dogs with Thyroid disorders, joint problems, hip problems, diabetes, and special diets. I'm very flexible. All you have to do is ask and we'll see. I've had Chocolate Labs, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Poodles, Terriers, and Shih Tzus. I love animals especially puppies and dogs. I am also willing to watch your cats if you also have them. I wanted to be a veterinarian or veterinary assistant but I didn't quite have the grades for it so that's why I decided to become a dog sitter, a dog walker, pet care taker, dog lover, and pet lover. About: I trained both of my childhood dogs fun tricks. I am familiar with taking care of puppies up till senior dogs. I am comfortable with walks/bathroom trips (picking up feces if need be), feedings and medicine administration. I am a manager of a coffee shop, having a pretty flexible schedule to check on your fur baby when you need :) 🐾 Also, depending on location, I might not be available to do multiple check ins a day. I live on a first floor apartment, my kitties get a lot of enrichment from watching the birds outside. I take them on walks with me in their stroller🤣 I love loving on my babies and know I won’t fail to love on yours!

About: I have taken care of my dog since he was a puppy and my brothers do for about 4 years. I also work at a doggy day care and am around all sorts of dogs and understand body language. I work mostly on the weekends. I am most available to spend the most time with your pet during the week. I have school but no more than 4 hours a day. I provide attentive and reliable pet care either in my home or in the client’s home, depending on their preference. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for by giving them plenty of attention and maintaining a clean environment. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, keep everything tidy, and ensure the pet experiences minimal disruption to their normal routine. I am also comfortable administering medications if needed and monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or health. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner.

About: I have been dog sitting for my friends and family for years. I work from home 2 days a week and have a large fenced in backyard. I have a 3 bedroom house located a few block from a bike/walking trail. I would like a dog of my own but my schedule doesn’t allow for that so cuddling and spending time with your dog would be perfect. Your dog will have access to my furniture while I am home. I can maintain a set schedule and provide your dog with love and care while you are away. Your pet would be in a kennel very minimal and have lots of attention. Would just be in a kennel if I need to run errands. I have a large fenced in backyard that your pet will love to run free in. The fence was replaced summer of 2021 after the derecho. I work a hybrid schedule 3 days in an office 2 days at home. My boyfriend is home every Friday, he does not work Fridays. I have a large privacy fenced in yard for your dog to play in. I can kennel or crate your dog at your preference. I have a lock on the inside of my front door incase a dog jumps and opens the door.

About: As a dog mama myself, I understand that our dogs are more than just our pets. They’re an integral part of our family! I strive to provide them with the necessary care they need, but also the enrichment they need to thrive and live a happy life. I love to play with them, take them out for walks, and provide them with love and pets. It’s important to me that they are not just physically cared for, but they are mentally stimulated through play and emotionally cared for at every visit. I'm always mindful that all pets should be greeted with a slow introduction, that does not come off as intrusive, or threatening. Even the most social pets, can behave differently when an unfamiliar person enters their home while family is not present. I always take that into consideration upon each visit, as I get to know your dog/cat, and build a trusting relationship. Whether your pet goes out on a leash, uses a fenced in yard, or requires potty pads to go to the bathroom, I'll follow your instructions as discussed through the Rover app, or during our initial "meet and greet". About: I’ve been taking care of my dogs since high school and have taken care of family friends pets as well over the years. I love animals and I love taking care of them. I am currently on summer break from school, and trying to keep myself busy this summer with a job before I have to go back.
