About: I've been pet-sitting around my neighborhood since I was 10, and grown up alongside dogs, cats, small rodents, and reptiles. I'm far from squeamish, and I love all creatures, even if they are grumpy, irritable, or messy. I volunteer at the ARL in Ankeny! I'm currently in school, but because I'm not taking a full schedule of classes, I can be around your pets multiple times over the school week every day. I have my own car, so I'm able to get where I need to easily. I don't do sports, so I'm free almost every day of the week, save for the occasional band event. My dog is a friendly older dog who is far from aggressive. She lives to sleep and sit in the sun, and is unbothered by even the most hyper of puppies. I do not have a fenced yard, but I love to walk pets, and will walk them in the morning, at night, or whenever they need it. I also have two cats who have mastered the art of avoiding new dogs when they are over. I can be high energy or low energy depending on what a dog needs, and love to stick to a schedule. The longer and more detailed the instructions, the better!

About: Back in middle school and high school I up I used to watch and walk family friends dogs. I have experience in giving medication to animals. I’m moving back in with my parents for a few months. I don’t have a part time job or anything so I have a lot of free time on my hands. I provide care for dogs in the client’s home, including feeding, fresh water, exercise, companionship, and following any specific care instructions. I also offer dog walking to help keep pets active, happy, and on their regular routine.

About: I have had dogs since I was but 8 years old and cared for them ever since. I have babysat friends’ dogs and take care of my own puppy daily, in addition to pet sitting for cats. I absolutely love animals and spending time around them. I am currently a full time online student at DMACC and nanny after school, with full weekend and daytime availability. Thus, I will usually have more than enough time to care for pets! I have my own puppy who is two, Nova, who loves other dogs, if you have a dog who does well with others, as well as access to a dog park. I am also comfortable taking care of pets in your home!

About: Multiple employments at veterinary practices >8000 hours working and handling all sorts of pets, mostly cats, dogs and small mammals. Dog training experience as well, not certified and mostly with police K9s I work full time, but once a month I work from home so I can very flexible those weeks, however, able to sit after work and on weekends. I will work around the pets needs and why you allow the pet to do at home as well. Very flexible here with whatever is needed.

About: I trained both of my childhood dogs fun tricks. I am familiar with taking care of puppies up till senior dogs. I am comfortable with walks/bathroom trips (picking up feces if need be), feedings and medicine administration. I am a manager of a coffee shop, having a pretty flexible schedule to check on your fur baby when you need :) 🐾 Also, depending on location, I might not be available to do multiple check ins a day. I live on a first floor apartment, my kitties get a lot of enrichment from watching the birds outside. I take them on walks with me in their stroller🤣 I love loving on my babies and know I won’t fail to love on yours!

About: I have three pups of my own and I will treat yours with just as much love and care! I love to go on walks or hikes, so I’m happy to help if you have an active dog who needs more attention or movement. I have a flexible schedule and will only agree to care for your fur baby if I can commit to being present every 2-4 hours. I am available most weekends and evenings (including many holidays!) for in-house sitting! I care for your animals and home as if it were my own- with care and respect. About: I have been a dog walker at the ARL for 3 years. I have also taken care of many teachers, friends, and neighbors pets. As well as taken care of my school pets! I have had 2 dogs, 4 cats, 5 guinea pigs, and many other pets! I work at a veterinary clinic and have kennel shifts a few times throughout the week in the morning and evening. I am also a college student so I have classes. Aside from that I am available and fully willing to work around whatever I need ! I am a deep lover of animals. I have loved animals all my life, and I decided to pursue this love by doing all kinds of volunteer work. I have worked at the ARL as a volunteer for 3 years. I am going into college for animal ecology, and eventually going into vet school to study proper care for animals. I do whatever I can to make my dogs, cats, and other pets at my house feel as loved as possible as well as safe. I hope to make your pet feel the same way.

About: I have had multiple dogs since I was 6 and taken care of all of them, neighbors' and families' animals actively for the last 4ish years! I would love to add a basic groom for an extra $10 added to any service you have scheduled. I have my own dog that I trained since he was a puppy, and he is now almost two. I also take care of a family's dog on a daily basis. I do not have a fenced-in yard, but I have a huge yard with long leashes. I also love to take our dog to the dog park. If you also have a pass, I would love that. My dog is mild to high energy and loves other dogs!

Anthony primarily does the house sitting and we both work together for boarding in our home. We currently have 2 dogs of our own who are both rescues. Arthur is our 8 year old playful, loving lab mix and Taz is our 2 year old sassy pit mix puppy! We love caring for pets and are excited to spread the love to more doggy friends! We have a fenced-in yard. The yard is safe and a great size to give your pet ample space to run around and exercise. We also have outdoor cameras to monitor if we are not outside with them.

About: I grew up in the country. We always had at least 2 dogs and 2 cats at our home. I can keep your pets safe and happy. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I plan to get another dog here around July, so until then, I have plenty of time to look after yours. I typically will let dogs out to use the restroom or just play every 2 hours. I like to use positive reinforcement, treats, and affection while looking after animals. I realy enjoy spending time with dogs.
