âI'm pretty sure my dog, Frank, is currently petitioning for a legal name change to "Frank of Ames" after his stay with Katrina yesterday. We were in town visiting our daughter at Iowa State and needed a safe, fun place for Frank to stay, and we hit the jackpot. From the moment we dropped him off, Frank was already sizing up his new crewâKatrina's two incredibly friendly dogsâand planning his fun. The photo and video updates she sent were amazing, showing Frank living his absolute best life, running around and making new friends. Seriously, if you ever need photographic evidence that your dog is having a better time than you are, book with Katrina. Frank came home happy, perfectly exhausted, and now gives us serious side-eye every time we suggest a plain old walk instead of a dog playdate at her place. Thank you, Katrina! You made our trip worry-free. Highly, highly recommend!â

âVery flexible and accommodating with scheduling- I needed a last minute sitter and they were able to take Mira. Their dog was very friendly and sweet and Mira was well cared for throughout the day. I got several pictures of her lounging on the couch.â

About: My husband and I both grew up on farms tending to animals since a very young age. I began training to show dogs at age 10 for obedience. At age 16 I began hosting obedience training for 4-H groups. Our family has four German shorthaired pointers that are hunters and excellent family companions. We are constantly working with our animals on a daily basis. We are well-versed in the care of elderly dogs and the energy management of puppies and their short attention spans. I currently work remotely from home, so Iâm able to tentatively care for your dog each day. If you are in my neighborhood, I can easily do drop ins 2 to 3 times a day. My husband and I have four boys who are just as animal loving as we are. They are always willing to play and give extra love to animals. We have a privacy height fenced in 1/2 acre yard where your puppy is free to play with our 4 German shorthair pointers or solo. We have extra crates for use if necessary.
âI was visiting town for a work trip and was beyond impressed by the care and communication! My pup Barley is older and just had surgery - it was so wonderful leaving him without worry, knowing he would be extra loved and cared after during the day!â

âAbsolutely loved having Lola watched by Hope. She kept me updated with photos, text, and answered any questions I may have been worried about. When I got home, she was wiped, and that NEVER happens. Will definitely be reaching out to her again!â

âOur dog was happy and relaxed when we picked him up. It seemed like he had a fun afternoon and it was clear that he was well cared for. Thank you Tilaine and family, and extra thanks for working with us on such short notice!â

About: I have grown up with a dog and cats. I am very familiar with how to successfully care for pets because I donât remember my life without pets. Growing up, I had a dog and cats which I helped care for. I would help with feeding them, bathing, and making sure they feel loved. With my dog, I spent a lot of days taking him on walks. I care for pets through showing them attention, making sure to aid to their needs. Depending on the temperament of the animal, I will play with them with toys.
âSamantha is so great to work with! She follows directions perfectly and takes excellent care of all the (3) dogs weâve had her sit for (doggie day care). She communicates effectively and timely and we never have to worry.â

âMy dog and I love Mallory! She had us meet with her before my dog had daycare and made an incredible effort to make her comfortable and create a space that made her feel safe. My dog has some separation anxiety and can be nervous around others, but Mallory took the time to get her comfortable with her on her own time. I got many videos and texts on how she was doing throughout the day which I LOVED because I didn't have to worry about whether she was okay and having fun. We highly recommend Mallory!!â

âThis was an amazing experience! I needed to make a trip to Ankeny and couldnât leave my dog home for that long of a time so I hopped on this app and found her, so glad I did! He was a little scared at first but shortly made himself at home. Good communication and she sent photos! Made me feel good đI will be contacting Meagan again!â

âBeth is AWESOME!!!!!!! Beth was so welcoming from the start! I had a very unusual need as I was traveling across the state and needing a dog sitter for just a few hours so I could take my wife on a side trip that didn't accommodate dogs and she not only graciously accommodated my plan but she was willing to switch gears at the drop of a hat to change things from one planned time to a different planned time! This is not to say that she should be able and or expected to do this all the time, just that she is awesome and helped make our perfectly special trip become an awesome trip!! And the dogs clearly loved her and felt VERY comfortable with her!!! Thank you Beth!â

âCynthia took great care of our dog, Maizy! She went above and beyond to make sure was Maizy was comfortable and engaged. Maizy can be a picky eater and Cynthia even got her to eat a full meal. She was lovey to communicate with, was very responsive, and sent lots of pictures. We will definitely be dropping our pup off with her again!â

About: Iâve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab âcareerâ. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. In my mid 20s I trained as a vet tech, prepping animals for surgery, giving vaccinations, nail trims, etc. Until the ISU Wildlife Clinic closed, I volunteered there, learning more care for wild native animals. Iâve had dogs and cats my entire life, I canât imagine life without animals. I currently have a senior border collie named Lola, she has arthritis so sometimes she needs help getting around and Iâm always willing to help my girl. I also have a senior cat. Currently Iâm a doordash/grub hub driver, so I literally am free 24/7 to care for your pets! I will prioritize Rover over delivery, so I can work with any schedule you need. Iâm available for repeat needs (several walks a week, drop ins, etc). I live in a duplex with a yard. For me to board a pet, they would need to get along with my dog, and she can honestly be a bit grumpy meeting new dogs, so I feel going to the clientâs home would be best. I will respect your home and follow whatever instructions you have for the care of your pets.
âKelley did a wonderful job taking care of our 15 year old dog, including mealtime and medicine. Kelly is kind and responsible and we could tell that Adi felt comfortable in her home. 5 out of 5 stars. We highly recommend.â
