About: We have 2-13 year old girls who love playing with dogs! We currently have 4 dogs of our own and a large yard! I’ve had dogs almost all of my life(40 years). Animals in our care will be treated like family just like ours! I work from home 4 days we week and there is always someone home with our 4 dogs! Our dogs are like family and get lots of exercise outside and lots of lounging time inside. I have a large yard with a 6 ft privacy fence. Dogs are allowed out several times a day sometimes several times an hour. Dogs dictate how often they want to go out.

12. Aileen C.
About: Since I was 12 years old I had a strong love for companion animals which pushed me to gain experience with a variety of them; from dwarf hamsters to pigs. Growing up I always imagined becoming a veterinarian and, I am proud to say I have finally received my bachelors in animals science from Iowa State University. Throughout my four years at Iowa State I learned important training techniques, behavioral training, and basic health information for small and large animals. I currently work from home which gives me flexibility during the day for last minute bookings! Services that clients need help with is already built into my routine and I am confident in my experience that I can care for your pet as I do mine. I live in 2 bedroom apartment with 2 small dogs. My dogs are polar opposites since one loves to sleep all day while the other enjoys running with all the toys. If you know your dog will be comfortable in that setting they are more than welcomed in my home. Although I do not have a fenced in yard I do have access to the Ames dog park for zoomies.
13. J B.

17. Beth S.
“Beth is AWESOME!!!!!!! Beth was so welcoming from the start! I had a very unusual need as I was traveling across the state and needing a dog sitter for just a few hours so I could take my wife on a side trip that didn't accommodate dogs and she not only graciously accommodated my plan but she was willing to switch gears at the drop of a hat to change things from one planned time to a different planned time! This is not to say that she should be able and or expected to do this all the time, just that she is awesome and helped make our perfectly special trip become an awesome trip!! And the dogs clearly loved her and felt VERY comfortable with her!!! Thank you Beth!”
18. Audrey L.
“Audrey comes from a dog family, she isn’t a stranger to raising dogs, how they behave or what their needs are. I’ve let Audrey watch my dog periodically over the past two years, the biggest gap being 2 weeks when I flew home due to a family emergency. When I came back, I didn’t know what to expect with it being the first time I’ve left my dog with someone else for that long. I came back to a puppy who was past out because she had played with him all day! He was fed when I had asked her to feed him and got updates via text whenever she could snap a picture with a day to day update to let me know he was okay. She’s responsible, caring, and very proactive. I hope she is approved for this role of caring for other pets when their owners are away.”
19. Bailey W.
“Bailey is an animal lover and is always kind and caring to all types of animals. She volunteered at the ARL for several years and was never afraid to handle any of the animals. She has owned cats, dogs, reptiles, birds and small animals like guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils. She regularly helps friends by taking care of their pets when they are out of town. She has a real passion and love for all animals! I would trust her to provide loving, compassionate and conscientious care for any animal.”
20. Kristen W.
“Kristen is wonderful with animals! She's very caring and patient. She's also very responsible and will give your pets the best care! If you want a dog sitter that treats your furbabies like kings/queens she's your girl! She's also very active! So walks and outing will be a great addition to your pups routine!”
