“She was absolutely amazing and very understanding of our family emergency when we had to go home early. She took very good care of our pup and would 100% book with her again! Highly recommend her for anyone!”

“Fritz had a great time with Alex, Andrea, and his new friend Nala! Thank you for the updates and for taking good care of him while I was away for the day. Will definitely re-book!”

“Thank you so much for watching Grover. Nothing is better than bringing home a tired and cuddly puppy. I enjoyed talking with you both and I have to admit I had a little bit of a teary moment on my way home. The environment of your backyard with friends and family as well as just your welcoming energy reminded me so much of what it was like when my Uncle Ryan was still around. He passed unexpectedly in 2016, leaving behind my Aunt Krista and their two young girls, Claire was 7 and Hannah was 5. My aunt and uncle loved each other so deeply and enjoyed hosting family and friends regularly. I am extremely grateful that you reminded me of those memories I had forgotten about. Please continue to have people over and share these moments with each other! So again, thank you for proving a loving home for my puppy to stay while also bringing back some wonderful memories for me, even though it was unknowingly. Grover and I will 100% be back to visit again!”

About: I have been a dog mom since I was 15. I currently have 2 dogs of my own, a shihtzu and a Labrador retriever. Dogs are members of our family and get treated as such! I am a stay at home mom. I have a lot of kids, but 3 of them currently stay home during the day. I have a lot of time to go to parks or a simple walk around the pond. It will be just me tending to your pets needs, other people in photos are just part of our dog loving family! I have 2 very friendly dogs in my home and very loving children. There's have a really nice pond to walk around and a lot of toys to play with.

About: I’ve been dog walking and sitting for both relatives and family friends since I was maybe 5 or 6. I grew up in a big dog family and have always had a passion for animals. I’m starting school this fall at Iowa State University, and I plan to major in Animal Biology so I can get myself started on the pre-veterinary track. To get some extra hands-on experience, I want to “officially” get some pet-sitting under my belt through Rover. I have also recently started volunteering at the Ames Animal Shelter and I love the exposure that I’m getting! Apart from starting college in late August, I am currently unemployed and am looking for one (or more!) part-time job(s) to add some more structure to my summer :) From there, I’ll probably stay active on Rover, but my availability might become a little less flexible. I have two cats and one dog (all girls and all spayed!) that know how to behave with guests. Our dog loves to make friends and is very sociable. I’m perfectly fine visiting or staying overnight for your pets, and they will always be welcome at my house. I can adjust based on whatever your preferences are!

“I could not have been happier with how the day went for my 2 girls while staying w Jalyn. She communicated very well throughout from booking to, sending me some beautiful action pictures. I am looking forward to booking w Jalyn again in the future. Mija was actually worn out at the end of the day. Which is not easy to do, so that is greatly appreciated”

“Mallory took very good care of my babies. I would recommend her to anyone. Not only was she good with my pups, she was super sweet and kind as well.”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats. I love animals and the only reason I dont have pets right now is because I‘m in college. I‘ve experienced everything there is and cant wait to meet new furry friends I have a pretty simple and easy routine. I don‘t really do a lot besides working out and spending time with friends. I‘m very flexible time wise and have great time management skills. I live in a college town and am friends with all my neighbors. I know almost everyone around and am very responsible when it comes to taking care of animals. I lock my apartment if I‘m not home, I make sure the apartment is clean and safe for pets and I spend as much time as I can with the animals.

“Amazing. My dog came back everyday so happy. Briana was able to be very flexible while I was dealing with a family emergency. It was a relieve of one less thing to deal with. Absolutely recommend.”

About: I know how energetic dogs are, and I am as well so we’re a perfect match! I can keep them entertained while they are also making my day so much brighter! I am a full time student but classes do not take up much of my day! I love to go on long walks and I can entertain any dog for hours. I can do late afternoons and mornings, as well as nights if need be. I have 2 dogs at home, but here at college I do not have any pets. My apartment does allow pets so it would be no problem to have them over:) I also have the option of a fenced in yard if your little pup prefers to run around freely.

“This was an amazing experience! I needed to make a trip to Ankeny and couldn’t leave my dog home for that long of a time so I hopped on this app and found her, so glad I did! He was a little scared at first but shortly made himself at home. Good communication and she sent photos! Made me feel good 💕I will be contacting Meagan again!”

“Glad our pups got along! Very smooth and comfortable stay for Scobey even when he was alittle homesick Samantha took care, thank you!”

“Jen was an absolute delight and took great care of both of my dogs! She was extremely accommodating and friendly! I highly recommend and will definitely rebook with her in the future as the need arises!”

She was lovey to communicate with, was very responsive, and sent lots of pictures. We will definitely be dropping our pup off with her again!”

“Sam is wonderful! She loves my pup like her own. Takes him on walks, bathes him, and is super flexible with the schedule. Highly recommend her! 😁😁”

About: Seasoned dog owner offering full-time pet care you can trust. My passion for animals started early—even before spending summers volunteering at the Ames Animal Shelter as a young girl. Every opportunity to pet sit for family and friends had me thrilled to spend time with animals. I bring 4 years of professional grooming experience, beginning as a dog bather and later graduating from grooming school. I’ve also worked 1.5 years in veterinary medicine at a vet hospital, gaining hands-on experience in animal health and care. 🐶 Services I Offer: • Dog Walking • Overnight House Sitting • Doggy Daycare • Boarding • Pet Transportation ✓ Extended stays and special requests welcome ✓ LGBTQ+ friendly 🌈 With over 15 years of dog care experience, I’m confident and comfortable with pups of all sizes and temperaments. I’m experienced in administering oral medication and have cared for diabetic pets as well. In addition to dogs, I also care for cats, reptiles, fish, small animals, and exotics. I worked at a pet store for a year, caring for everything from ferrets and snakes to hamsters, chinchillas, bearded dragons, and tropical fish. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! I look forward to connecting—and giving your pets my very best. 🫶 I provide pet care full-time, so your pet gets all of my love, attention, and care—day and night. I know how hard it can be to leave your furry family, which is why I go out of my way to make them feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. I’m available 24/7, and I send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing they’re in kind, capable hands. I like to do a meet and greet before we book anything. It’s a great chance for your pets to get to know me, for us to go over how a typical day looks at your place, and to talk through anything I should be ready for—so I can make sure your pets get the best care possible.

About: I’ve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. In my mid 20s I trained as a vet tech, prepping animals for surgery, giving vaccinations, nail trims, etc. Until the ISU Wildlife Clinic closed, I volunteered there, learning more care for wild native animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, I can’t imagine life without animals. I currently have a senior border collie named Lola, she has arthritis so sometimes she needs help getting around and I’m always willing to help my girl. I also have a senior cat. Currently I’m a doordash/grub hub driver, so I literally am free 24/7 to care for your pets! I will prioritize Rover over delivery, so I can work with any schedule you need. I’m available for repeat needs (several walks a week, drop ins, etc). I live in a duplex with a yard. For me to board a pet, they would need to get along with my dog, and she can honestly be a bit grumpy meeting new dogs, so I feel going to the client’s home would be best. I will respect your home and follow whatever instructions you have for the care of your pets.

“We were so lucky to find Beth! With just a few days notice, Beth was available to watch our senior pup while we toured Iowa State with my son. It was so nice to bring our dog along and also not worry about him while we took our tour. Cody was treated to two long walks and is sleeping soundly on our trip back home. Thank you so much, Beth!”

“Biscuit had such a wonderful time with Amy & Casey. She played with their children which is great because she loves kids. She even got to spend time in their puppy pool, and it sounds like she had a blast! She was very exhausted from playing when we picked her up. Thank you Amy & Casey for taking biscuit in on such a short notice, We appreciate it!”
