About: Hello! I’m a full-time high school teacher who loves animals… but my own dog passed away last year and for some reason I’m just not ready to get a new one. But I love dogs!! So, in the meantime, I am getting my pet love by dog-sitting. I mostly set this up to do over the summer when I was off work and super flexible, but I’ve decided to keep doing it some—with an emphasis on weekends and public holidays when I’m not at work :) I can do some weekdays, but we’d need to chat about it first. I have gotten a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment out of this so far (which is truly why I’m doing this) and plan to continue this until that stops (or until I decide to adopt a new furry friend who might need most of my attention). I grew up with dogs and have had a variety of breeds, shapes, sizes over the decades. I dog-sat during college and during grad school for friends, professors, and a few strangers I connected with on an older website (I feel like it was called care-dot-com for anyone who’s old enough to remember that). As someone who is a “bit” older, I’m reliable and have very little social life!! Perfect for you and your pet! I’m also super motivated to make your dog as happy as I can! I miss that aspect of having a pet—you take care of them and they keep you sane in this crazy world. Update: During the school year, I’m most available on weekends but can of course provide care in the afternoon and evening on a school/week day… just not as much as I can on a weekend or holiday :) I have a wire fenced yard (not a privacy fence). It’s not the biggest but I’ve also had a smaller yard! There are neighboring dogs, as well, so keep that in mind. As mentioned, no dog at the moment. I’m very careful with dogs in terms of behavior. I was raised to understand that the person is responsible for the dog’s behavior. This means paying attention, shortening the lead when needed, helping the dog feel secure, crossing the street, etc.

About: Always grew up with dogs, have a medium size dog myself who loves meeting and playing with new pets. Available primary on weekends for more extensive attention, but am open to weekday walks or sitting. Love adventures to dog parks permitting good weather and owner permission. Abundance of treats and play time. Feel like my living area has a high demand for sitters, but not enough open spots so I’m wishing to dig in myself, see if there is a need. Live on busy road/sidewalks on unfenced property, so I will require dogs be leashed when outside. Must be UTD on rabies, heart guard, and flea/tick medicines. Thank you in advance. Open to meet and greets prior to scheduled visits/stays. Open to updates/photos based on owner’s preferences.

About: I have had pets since I was at least four years old, so I am very familiar with taking care of them. I also frequently dog/house/cat sit for friends and family, as well taking care of both dogs and cats at my job at an animal shelter. Right now I am a full time college student, so I do have more availability over holiday weeks and weekends. However, depending on the services needed, I can easily fit my schedule to yours. About: I've been dropping in to aid family and friends with their dogs, cats, and other pets since I was in high school, and have been online doing general pet services for the last 3 or so years now. I myself have 3 cats and a snake. I have experience with giving cats eye medication, oral pills, medication mixed with treats/food, and creams. For dogs I've given creams and medication mixed with food/treats. I'm currently doing freelance work so my schedule is pretty flexible. Other than my own pet's schedule, I'm happy to find time for your pet's needs. I always make sure to check in with my clients to ensure they feel comfortable with me in their house. Things like where they're comfortable with me going and doing, where the pet(s) are allow to be, any routines that need to be done, and anything else they'd like to precaution or worry about.

About: I have three dogs at home Mini is a small Pomeranian poodle mix, Daisy is a beagle Terrier mix, Lucy is a large malamute and Pyrenees mix . I love interacting with them and making them happy like they do for me. I currently only work Saturday and Sunday and I Doordash when I can on the weekdays. Id love to switch over to working Rover as much as possible. At home I make sure that my dogs get let out every two hours to get some fresh air and of course I know the signs to let them out sooner. I play with them at least twice a day and give them lots of cuddles. Anytime I’m interacting with a new dog I give them space and slight hand movements where they can see to build trust.

Not only have I cared for our family dogs (labs & golden retrievers), but I have also dog-sat and walked dogs for other family members and friends since I was 10 years old. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been taking care of family, friends, and neighbors dogs since I was 12. I love big dogs and small. I’m very active and love walking and running around with my pets. I’m a college student home for the summer taking remote summer classes so my schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available a majority of the week. I am surrounded by a large open grass yard and plenty of space in my home for inside or outdoor play. I also have a dog bed that I wash between every visit.
