About: Hi! My name is Roxy, and I’m a dependable, compassionate pet sitter who loves caring for animals of all kinds. Whether you’re away for a weekend or an extended trip, I provide loving care to help your pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy in their own environment. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and other small pets, including feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic medications, and giving plenty of attention and affection. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I make it a priority to follow your instructions carefully. I have two friendly Australian shepherds and experience with many breeds, sizes and ages. I have grown up with pets my entire life and owned multiple dogs for 20 years. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members! I’m currently working a hybrid schedule and am home 2-3 days during the week. I have availability for in home and drop in visits or walks during the weekend as well. I have a fenced in yard with two friendly and fixed dogs to give yours company while away. Open to in home or drop in visits as needed along with walks and needed exercise. I have two children that have been raised around pets that respect them and enjoy playing with them. If your dog prefers a crate we are a crate trained home.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for just over 10 years. I’ve done house sitting, drop ins, and boarding for neighbors and friends. I have helped to train puppies, and taken care of senior dogs. I’ve also been in charge of bathing dogs, cats, and even horses! Currently I am working part-time, I am free early in the morning as well as after 3:00pm. I can house sit or board on the weekends! I have a big yard to play in! I also have a rambunctious 2 year old puppy who loves making new friends. I can easily crate your dog if needed. They will get lots of play and rest time. About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.

About: Hello! I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life and I have a cat of my own! I have experience with pet sitting for 4+ years. I am open to walking, feeding, and playing with your pet when needed! I currently am in between jobs and am looking for something to do in the meantime. I am able to fit your pet(s) anywhere in my day as I won’t have much going on. However long you need me to walk, play, and cuddle with your pet(s), I am available! I am willing to walk, feed, and play with your pet(s) when needed! Anything that you need me to do for you and your pet(s), I am more than happy to help!

About: I’ve taken care of every kind of dog. I’ve been a foster mom for years. I’ve fostered puppies to senior hospice dogs. I have trained many dogs and can train yours on our visits. I work from home most days of the week and have an indoor camera setup for when I do have to leave, I can check in on your furbaby. I have a house with a fenced in yard for activities and bathroom breaks. I live in a residential neighborhood and can take your dog for walks during the day. I usually leave dog tv on at a low volume during the day while I’m working from home. I am currently fostering a hospice dog, he gets along with other dogs and cats. I work from home part time and have a flexible schedule. I’m able to schedule meetings around walks, sits and check ins without any issues. I’m offering all services. I make sure the pets in my care are safe and protected. I’m able to control large and small dogs. Walking large, strong dogs are not a problem.

About: I grew up taking care of dogs on our family farm. I was responsible for feeding, watering, cleaning, and spending time with them each day. I also grew up with a cat in the home. I love animals and enjoy taking dogs on walks. Besides my school schedule, I am very free. I have my own car and I live on campus. I am available in morning and evening and in between classes. I can fulfill any need that you may have for caring for your animal in your home. I live in a dorm on campus, which is not animal friendly:)

About: I have been taking care of dogs my entire life. I have experience with all ages of dogs from puppies to senior dogs. I am one of the first people my friends call when they need someone to check on their fur baby! I work from home and am off at 4pm every weekday and take an hour lunch from 11am-12pm so anytime I am not working, I can care for your pet. I will offer care to pets outside of my home as to not upset the daily routine of my cats. I am flexible depending on the client's needs. I always create a safe and loving space for the fur babies that I care for whether it be for a walk, a quick visit, or for house sitting.

About: Iv always owned pets growing up as well as in adulthood. Pets seem to sense me as being a good person and friends often ask me to care for there pet when needed because there pet enjoys being around me. I have experience wit cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, ferrets, and rabbits as well as most farm animals. I’m a stay at home mom with my last child. I have an as needed sitter on call so my availability is pretty open. I have a 20month old at home and school aged kids 10 and 7 so most of my availability however is 7-3. If I know A day or so I’m advance I can make arrangements out of that time. I would love to care for your pet. Im comfortable walking your pet, letting out if you have a yard. Cleaning up messes and playing with your pet. I will clean litter box and feed as well.

About: I’ve owned at minimum one dog my entire life. Currently don’t have a dog in my household, would love to host yours. They’ll receive many walks, a fenced in yard, and lots of love. I work from home twice a week and I’m never gone from home for more than 4-5 hours at a time each day. I have a flexible schedule that will allow me to provide your dog ample attention. I have a fairly large, secluded, fenced in yard that will allow your dog to spend time outside if that’s what they desire. I regularly go on multiple walks a day and will absolutely bring your pup with. Animals are welcome on all furniture in the house

About: As a dog mama myself, I understand that our dogs are more than just our pets. They’re an integral part of our family! I strive to provide them with the necessary care they need, but also the enrichment they need to thrive and live a happy life. I love to play with them, take them out for walks, and provide them with love and pets. It’s important to me that they are not just physically cared for, but they are mentally stimulated through play and emotionally cared for at every visit. I'm always mindful that all pets should be greeted with a slow introduction, that does not come off as intrusive, or threatening. Even the most social pets, can behave differently when an unfamiliar person enters their home while family is not present. I always take that into consideration upon each visit, as I get to know your dog/cat, and build a trusting relationship. Whether your pet goes out on a leash, uses a fenced in yard, or requires potty pads to go to the bathroom, I'll follow your instructions as discussed through the Rover app, or during our initial "meet and greet". Requested information about your pet -Medication schedule -Behavioral issues that may affect walking your pet on public sidewalks, history of biting or aggression while being fed. -Ongoing medical conditions -Vet number and/or emergency contact I currently work on a hybrid schedule - 3 days in West Des Moines and 2 days at home in Ankeny. I have a flexible schedule where I can pop around to your pet when needed. I have a heart for animals along with the patience needed to give quality pet care. Your pet will always come first and I would treat them as if they are my own.

About: My pets are indoors AND outside because I have safe, pet friendly, separated or joined, sheltered, natural areas where we can all unwind on my seven acres. I'm a retiree who devotes all my time to my grandkids, animals and hobbies. Your pets' needs are provided for at all times whether they are here for a day, week or month as they are included in our family activities. Pets are kept separated or allowed to play together depending on their needs. I provide crates, mats, kennels and even my bed for peaceful sleeping.
