About: Back in middle school and high school I up I used to watch and walk family friends dogs. I have experience in giving medication to animals. I’m moving back in with my parents for a few months. I don’t have a part time job or anything so I have a lot of free time on my hands. I have had close family and friends who call me for any dog sitting or care taking services. I am a teacher with a lot of availability during the summer so I can most likely cover any hours you need. About: Hello! I’m a full-time high school teacher who loves animals… but my own dog passed away last year and for some reason I’m just not ready to get a new one. But I love dogs!! So, in the meantime, I am getting my pet love by dog-sitting. I mostly set this up to do over the summer when I was off work and super flexible, but I’ve decided to keep doing it some—with an emphasis on weekends and public holidays when I’m not at work :) I can do some weekdays, but we’d need to chat about it first. I have gotten a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment out of this so far (which is truly why I’m doing this) and plan to continue this until that stops (or until I decide to adopt a new furry friend who might need most of my attention). I grew up with dogs and have had a variety of breeds, shapes, sizes over the decades. I dog-sat during college and during grad school for friends, professors, and a few strangers I connected with on an older website (I feel like it was called care-dot-com for anyone who’s old enough to remember that). As someone who is a “bit” older, I’m reliable and have very little social life!! Perfect for you and your pet! I’m also super motivated to make your dog as happy as I can! I miss that aspect of having a pet—you take care of them and they keep you sane in this crazy world. Update: During the school year, I’m most available on weekends but can of course provide care in the afternoon and evening on a school/week day… just not as much as I can on a weekend or holiday :) I have a wire fenced yard (not a privacy fence). It’s not the biggest but I’ve also had a smaller yard! There are neighboring dogs, as well, so keep that in mind. As mentioned, no dog at the moment. I’m very careful with dogs in terms of behavior. I was raised to understand that the person is responsible for the dog’s behavior. This means paying attention, shortening the lead when needed, helping the dog feel secure, crossing the street, etc.

About: Always grew up with dogs, have a medium size dog myself who loves meeting and playing with new pets. Available primary on weekends for more extensive attention, but am open to weekday walks or sitting. Love adventures to dog parks permitting good weather and owner permission. Abundance of treats and play time. Feel like my living area has a high demand for sitters, but not enough open spots so I’m wishing to dig in myself, see if there is a need. Live on busy road/sidewalks on unfenced property, so I will require dogs be leashed when outside. Must be UTD on rabies, heart guard, and flea/tick medicines. Thank you in advance. About: I have been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2024. I work in the small animal emergency/critical care department. I am RECOVER certified and Fear Free certified. I have been an animal my whole life and am now devoted to taking care and improving their lives. I do have a full time job but I start late in the day. If you need me to walk your dog or check in at your home I can do early mornings to early afternoon. My schedule also changes month to month from week days to weekends so depending on the month I can have more availability during my days off. I always make sure to see the comfort levels of animals before interaction. I bad interaction can break your pets trust. My FEAR FREE training has allowed me to work with patients comfort levels and how to appropriately handle scared animals. My CPR RECOVER training certifies me to be able to perform CPR on your pet effectively.

About: I have three dogs at home Mini is a small Pomeranian poodle mix, Daisy is a beagle Terrier mix, Lucy is a large malamute and Pyrenees mix . I love interacting with them and making them happy like they do for me. I currently only work Saturday and Sunday and I Doordash when I can on the weekdays. Id love to switch over to working Rover as much as possible. At home I make sure that my dogs get let out every two hours to get some fresh air and of course I know the signs to let them out sooner. I play with them at least twice a day and give them lots of cuddles. Anytime I’m interacting with a new dog I give them space and slight hand movements where they can see to build trust.

About: From keeping care of my family pets in the absence of my parents at a young age to spending late nights as a sitter for neighbors’ dogs, I have taken careful care of dogs in all shapes and sizes since I was twelve. I love snuggling and bonding with dogs, and I adore being there for them when their furball parents are unable to be with them. I’m a part-time worker at a hotel on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
