About: I have spent much of my life taking care of different animals. I grew up on a farm handling chores for animals of all kinds from horses to dogs and cats. I currently have a 3 year old Maine Coon cat named Boston! I currently work mornings, typically 7-3 M-F. My hours vary depending on the week and what I am busy with at work. I work shifts on weekends and nights when needed I have a yard for your pet to run around in and play. I do have 3 other pets in my home that are properly vaccinated and friendly!

While we have four cats she checked on, the main client for her was a disabled foster dog who’s been through a lot and can be difficult (because of her disabilities). She handled putting her harness on like a champ (which is even difficult for us) and gave her plenty of snuggles and had marvelous patience. When you book time with her for your pets she makes sure to use it all which we appreciated. The cats didn't need attention this time around but our foster dog needed it covers much and watching them interact showed me that our dog was also comfortable with Olivia and that’s very important to us.”

About: I have always had a dog in my family since I was born! I had dog sat for friends and coworkers for as long as a week at a time. I am working full time with a non profit so my hours are pretty flexible. I would take care of pets in the morning before I go to work and they would be my first stop when I head home. I would respect the clients property and their rules and routines! Making sure everything is clean if not cleaner when how I found it! Nothing is better then coming home from a trip to a clean place!

About: I'm an experienced animal caregiver of many species. I have owned dogs for about 10 years and have lots of experience administering medications and providing specialized treatments. I have worked previously with mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, etc and currently own chickens and dogs. I'm comfortable providing a nail trimming service and bathing if requested. I love meeting new furry (or scaled or feathered) friends and hope to hear from you soon! I work full time in Ames but would be happy to care for your pets around my work schedule. I may be available for dropins before or after work in Ames on a limited basis during the work week. Please ask for details. I am willing to petsit outside of my listed range for an added fee. I know that consistency can be very important, I will do my best to uphold whatever training and routines you ask me to follow while providing plenty of snuggles and playtime.
About: I have experience with all kinds of dogs! My own 2 dogs come from very different places. Belle (3 yo, mixed breed) is a medium-sized rescue dog from the island of St. Croix and Atari (4 yo, Cavachon mixed breed) was born on a farm and has been spoiled since birth! :) I also volunteer with Ruff Start USVI, the rescue service that rescued my dog Belle! I spend time with the rescue puppies, taking care of them, playing with them, etc. My family also often foster dogs from Ruff Start, Belle was a foster dog before we decided to adopt her! I am currently searching for a summer part time job so I have lots of time to take care of your pets this summer! I will be in the Ankeny area until August 10th when I move back to Ames for college! I will be able to provide services in Ames once I return! ☺️ I will update with my college schedule once it gets closer to move-in. I am completely flexible to whatever your dog may need! I can perfectly heed to any dog schedule and follow along with any weird little quirk! I love sending pictures and will send plenty of updates or only a few, whatever you prefer!
