About: I am currently employed as a Hospice Admissions Coordinator and am offering pet sitting services in my free time. I have a lifelong love for animals and extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats of all breeds. Growing up, I volunteered at a local veterinary clinic, which deepened my understanding of animal care and behavior. While caring for your pets, I provide daily updates and photos so you can stay connected with your furry family members while you’re away. I am flexible with scheduling and strive to accommodate each client’s individual needs. I kindly ask that all animals be up to date on their vaccinations for the safety of everyone involved. Your pets will be treated with the same love and attention I give my own—spoiled and cared for like royalty! I also offer light household cleaning services during pet-sitting visits for an additional fee. I am currently employed with Hospice, but animals have always held a special place in my heart. I ensure my pets are well cared for every day — providing fresh water each morning, daily feedings, and clean litter boxes. When I had my dog before he passed, we enjoyed daily walks (often more than one!) and followed a consistent feeding routine. I treat my fur babies as family and care for them as if they were my own children. Being told I may not be able to have children has made my pets even more precious to me — they truly are my family.

I will follow all of your directions as well as send pictures and videos. I will always be available by text. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend time having fun with other's pet(s). About: I've pet/house sat for multiple people in the past. Animals include dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. I like to have a meet and greet before ever staying with your pets alone. If you have any special diets or quirks make sure we discuss them in advance! I don't mind staying for a few hours to watch your animals or just drop in, whatever is needed! I have a nighttime job so, your animals will need to be able to be alone at night a few days of the week! I will discuss meal plan, how often you walk them/let them outside, and if they have meds with you prior to caring for your animals.

About: (I go by both Kennedy and Sunny!) I have had pets since I was little! I started grooming in a pet salon four years ago! A pets safety and happiness will always be the first thing I strive for! I can offer nail trims and grinds, paw pad shaving, ear cleaning, and a sanitary shave during my check-ins if that’s what you’d like! I am currently a full time groomer, but I can do nightly check-ins/ stays. I’m currently, fully free on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other Friday and Saturday! If your pet needs a small check-in during the late afternoon any-day, I will be able to do so (: I cannot offer my home up for stay; due to one of my own cats being unfriendly/ aggressive. But I will take care of your pets like they were my own! Like I do at my salon, I pay close attention to body language, and signs of stress. If a pet seems anxious/ aggressive/ uncomfortable, I will always try my best to make them understand that I’m there to help and take care of them!

I’m respectful of clients’ homes, keep communication open with regular updates and photos, and prioritize making pets feel secure and cared for while their owners are away.

About: I have dog sat my friend’s dog, her aunt’s dog, and my sister’s dog. Dog sizes range from small to large. I love taking dogs for walks. I also love snuggles just as much. :) I would be available Thursday night after 5:30 to Sunday evenings. I currently work all day Monday, Tuesday/Thursday afternoons (12:30-5:30), and Wednesday mornings (7-12). I am off on Fridays. I live in a secure condominium. The front and side doors are both locked on the building at all times. Only homeowners have keys. I have stayed in other people’s houses as well. I always make sure to leave the house looking clean when I’m done dog sitting. That way you don’t have to worry about cleaning up after me upon returning home.

About: I have experience with all kinds of dogs! My own 2 dogs come from very different places. Belle (3 yo, mixed breed) is a medium-sized rescue dog from the island of St. Croix and Atari (4 yo, Cavachon mixed breed) was born on a farm and has been spoiled since birth! :) I also volunteer with Ruff Start USVI, the rescue service that rescued my dog Belle! I spend time with the rescue puppies, taking care of them, playing with them, etc. My family also often foster dogs from Ruff Start, Belle was a foster dog before we decided to adopt her! I am currently searching for a summer part time job so I have lots of time to take care of your pets this summer! I will be in the Ankeny area until August 10th when I move back to Ames for college! I will be able to provide services in Ames once I return! ☺️ I will update with my college schedule once it gets closer to move-in. I am completely flexible to whatever your dog may need! I can perfectly heed to any dog schedule and follow along with any weird little quirk! I love sending pictures and will send plenty of updates or only a few, whatever you prefer!

About: My love of animals started from a young age. I grew up on a farm with a variety of pets, from dogs and cats to pigs and horses! I have fostered and boarded a variety of dog breeds and cats, and I currently have a dog and 4 kittens - so you can trust your pet will be in great hands! I am an active teacher, so I stay busy throughout the week, but I am off on holiday breaks and weekends, which is when I will be most available! I do also have afternoon and nighttime availability thought out the week on occasion. I provide personalized care for your pets by sticking to their routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs they have. I ensure their environment stays comfortable and safe while you’re away, offering companionship and attention to keep them happy and relaxed.
