I have availability for in home and drop in visits or walks during the weekend as well. I have a fenced in yard with two friendly and fixed dogs to give yours company while away. Open to in home or drop in visits as needed along with walks and needed exercise. I have two children that have been raised around pets that respect them and enjoy playing with them. If your dog prefers a crate we are a crate trained home.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for just over 10 years. I’ve done house sitting, drop ins, and boarding for neighbors and friends. I have helped to train puppies, and taken care of senior dogs. I’ve also been in charge of bathing dogs, cats, and even horses! Currently I am working part-time, I am free early in the morning as well as after 3:00pm. I can house sit or board on the weekends! I have a big yard to play in! I also have a rambunctious 2 year old puppy who loves making new friends. I can easily crate your dog if needed. They will get lots of play and rest time. About: My grandfather was a veterinarian for 50 years. I fortunately got to grow up living with them & was able to see animals of all ages, shapes & sizes. I don’t think there was a day where I wasn’t with him at the office “helping” out (scooping poop and cleaning kennels). In my own adult life, i have 4 of my own animals who I treat better than myself 🤣 i love them to pieces and always do my best to ensure their needs are met. You can expect me to do the same for you! My 17 yr old man Tiger has some extra care needs so I am 100% comfortable with doing extra care needs for your animals. I’m a social worker that is able to make her schedule most weeks. I work from home a few days a week and am able to make a flexible schedule. You can trust me to provide for your animals as I provide for my own. I work for the State of Iowa & have passed a background check with no concern.

About: I have nine years of pet care experience. I raised and showed Rex rabbits for 4 years. Personally I have trained and care for my own dogs. After High School I work in an Animal Hospital. My duties there included receiving the animals for appointments, prepping and assisting in surgeries, keeping accurate records, cleaning and sanitation of the facilities. I am available to care for pets full time as I am looking to make a career out of caring for pets as I pursue a position as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician. About: I have spent years taken care of animals in both a professional setting and with my own pups at home. I have worked as a kennel assistant and as a veterinary assistant for many years, providing care for animals of all ages and sizes during their times of need. Back home in New York I have two dogs, 10 and 3, who I love spending time with and miss dearly when I am away. My professional animal experience has allowed me to read animals cues, and get to know each pets unique personality. So weather your per loves playing and long walks, or hanging out on the couch, I will make sure they feel safe and comfortable with me. If your animals need any extra care or time warming up, I am experienced in working with anxious pets, administering medications, or caring for multiple pets at the same time. I am currently a veterinary student at Iowa State University, where my schedule is fairly predictable from week to week. I am typically at school from 9-3, and am available for drop ins over my lunch hour (12-1). I am a early bird so I can walk or drop in on pets before class in the mornings, and with all the studying I do I am available for late nights as well. My weekends are open aside from studying, and during these weekends I love spending time outside. Your pets comfort is my top priority, and I think maintaining a routine is the best thing for pets when their owners are away. When caring for pets in your home, I will work my schedule around their exercise needs, feeding schedule, medication schedules, etc. When caring for your pets, I will take as much time as needed to learns your pets personality, so I can best integrate myself into their routine in the times you are away. As a future veterinarian, I will also consistently be looking for signs of illness, and focus on creating a low stress environment for your pet. About: Hiii my name is Xochil, I am 26 years old, new to Rover, and am a fellow pet parent with 2 spoiled kitties and a bearded dragon of my own. I have years of pet sitting experience under my belt including professional pet care at a vet clinic and boarding facility. Along with growing up in a house full of a variety of different animals has made me a natural caregiver for most, if not all pets! Having the hands on experience with all sorts of breeds and temperaments, you can be assured your pet will be safe with me. If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s the understanding that each and every pet is different and one approach might not work for all, instead adjusting to each of your pets’ unique needs. As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it is to find someone to care for your babies when you're away so I am very flexible and understanding to any requests that may make you feel more comfortable- nothings off the table so please ask away! I look forward to hearing for you. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of availability for your fur babies! At this time, I do not provide in home boarding. I am good at monitoring stools and eating habits, always on the look out for any concerns. I am very weary of entering and exiting homes so pets can not slip out. Outside of the house, I am extra alert for off-leash dogs and other wildlife that may pose issues. If a problem arises with another dog, I know methods of separation and carry dog deterrent spray. I’m always present and in tune with their body language to make sure they’re comfortable and not showing any signs of distress or possible health concerns. The communication line is always open and you will receive plenty of photos with each visit so you can know for certain everything is looking okay. When I’m with your pet, it’s all about your pet and only your pet! I will never do something you have not listed in your instructions- the more in depth the instructions, the better!

About: I’m certified in Fear Free Animal Handling, providing safe and comfortable care for pets! I also work as an intern in a Veterinary clinic and currently am studying for Vet School. I’ve also worked with feral to domesticated pets, large and small, so I’ve got experience in almost pet! I’m hoping to have some extra cash on the side from school and work, and can make most situations work, I just need a sizeable notice. My most free days are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and sometimes weekends! For now I cannot board any pets, however, I’m more than happy to do feeding for many pets, help with medication administration, litter cleaning, and overall provide a few hours of attention and play time either in home or outside, though this depends on my current workload, however again, with enough notice I can make it work!

About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from local rescues. I recently earned a bachelors degree in animal science and currently attend veterinary school at ISU. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! Pet care is built into my schedule and comes as second nature to me now after being immersed in it for so long. On average, a minimum of 3-5 hours of my day are dedicated to my animals. I enjoy taking my dog on multiple walks a day, of varying lengths, to ensure he has enough mental stimulation and exercise to meet his needs. Training is also a constant in my household, whether that be scheduled training sessions, or simply consistent work throughout daily tasks. I find it important to build a bond with my animals as well as those I meet, and training helps strengthen that bond. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) and training exercises are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied and stimulated. I take pride in keeping my environment and my animals’ clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food and water bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.

About: I’ve always been around cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve mastered the process of giving medications. I’ve volunteered in a shelter some years ago and I learned a lot while I was there. I’ve trained all of my current and past pets and even helped some friends with theirs. I craft my own pet food in my kitchen to ensure all nutrients are available to them. I take pet health to a very serious level! Currently, I’m just in school So I have plenty of time. I’m available Mon- sun at 10am, 3pm, and anytime after 5pm! Friday is the only day that I’m available at 11am rather than 10am but I’m free for the day after 11am. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. I take time to learn their personality, feeding schedule, litter habits, and any specific needs before caring for them. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure everything is left clean and secure. I’m also attentive to doors, windows, plants, and anything else a curious pet could get into. I give pets plenty of attention and playtime while also respecting them when they need space. If they need medication or any extra care, I’m comfortable handling that as well.

About: I get along with every dog I interact with. Though I don’t have a dog of my own, I treat others dogs like they are and care for them as such. I am a part time nanny all day Thursdays and for a couple of hours mid day on Wednesdays and Fridays. Every other day I am completely available!
