About: I’ve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. In my mid 20s I trained as a vet tech, prepping animals for surgery, giving vaccinations, nail trims, etc. Until the ISU Wildlife Clinic closed, I volunteered there, learning more care for wild native animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, I can’t imagine life without animals. I currently have a senior border collie named Lola, she has arthritis so sometimes she needs help getting around and I’m always willing to help my girl. I also have a senior cat. Currently I’m a doordash/grub hub driver, so I literally am free 24/7 to care for your pets! I will prioritize Rover over delivery, so I can work with any schedule you need. I’m available for repeat needs (several walks a week, drop ins, etc). I live in a duplex with a yard. For me to board a pet, they would need to get along with my dog, and she can honestly be a bit grumpy meeting new dogs, so I feel going to the client’s home would be best. Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. The "regulars" get to sleep in our beds while our guests get other accommodations. It makes for better harmony for us. Because we foster on a regular basis our animals are very used to different dogs coming into our home. Our home is pretty quiet and relaxing.

About: I've been pet-sitting around my neighborhood since I was 10, and grown up alongside dogs, cats, small rodents, and reptiles. I'm far from squeamish, and I love all creatures, even if they are grumpy, irritable, or messy. I volunteer at the ARL in Ankeny! I'm currently in school, but because I'm not taking a full schedule of classes, I can be around your pets multiple times over the school week every day. I have my own car, so I'm able to get where I need to easily. I don't do sports, so I'm free almost every day of the week, save for the occasional band event. My dog is a friendly older dog who is far from aggressive. She lives to sleep and sit in the sun, and is unbothered by even the most hyper of puppies. I do not have a fenced yard, but I love to walk pets, and will walk them in the morning, at night, or whenever they need it. I also have two cats who have mastered the art of avoiding new dogs when they are over. I can be high energy or low energy depending on what a dog needs, and love to stick to a schedule. The longer and more detailed the instructions, the better!

I would like a dog of my own but my schedule doesn’t allow for that so cuddling and spending time with your dog would be perfect. Your dog will have access to my furniture while I am home. I can maintain a set schedule and provide your dog with love and care while you are away. Your pet would be in a kennel very minimal and have lots of attention. Would just be in a kennel if I need to run errands. I have a large fenced in backyard that your pet will love to run free in. The fence was replaced summer of 2021 after the derecho. I work a hybrid schedule 3 days in an office 2 days at home. My boyfriend is home every Friday, he does not work Fridays. I have a large privacy fenced in yard for your dog to play in. I can kennel or crate your dog at your preference. I have a lock on the inside of my front door incase a dog jumps and opens the door.
About: Animals hold a special place in my soul that I can't describe. Each pet brings me joy to take care of. I've had a few pets over the years; right now a 7 year old Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu named Snoopy. I've also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for the past two years. I started college as an Art Education major, but quickly changed to Animal Science. My goal is to work as an animal caretaker at the Omaha Zoo. I'm taking 12 credits at Iowa State, so I am busy but my schedule is flexible. I am pretty available to stop in between classes and in the mornings/evenings. Weekends are often free, but sometimes I go visit my family nearby. I have an apartment so I can't take pets to my place. I am available for check-ins and walks obviously. Throughout high school and these past two years, I've been trusted to care for pets in neighbors and strangers homes, and at a dog boarding and daycare facility in Des Moines.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for just over 10 years. I’ve done house sitting, drop ins, and boarding for neighbors and friends. I have helped to train puppies, and taken care of senior dogs. I’ve also been in charge of bathing dogs, cats, and even horses! Currently I am working part-time, I am free early in the morning as well as after 3:00pm. I can house sit or board on the weekends! I have a big yard to play in! I also have a rambunctious 2 year old puppy who loves making new friends. I can easily crate your dog if needed. They will get lots of play and rest time.
