Whether they enjoy an energetic walk or a slow stroll, I’ll make sure they’re safe, happy, and well cared for, with plenty of photo updates along the way. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life since I have two dogs of my own. I also have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a variety of walking and drop-in times throughout the week. About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.

About: I used to work as a certified dog trainer and managed a daycare / boarding facility for 2 years. I was an employee there for longer. 12 hour days every day with dogs of all types. I know how to administer medications, including insulin. I also know how to handle myself in emergency situations, I've learned dog first aid and I've broken up fights in my time that would've been deadly if I wasn't there. I am currently a general contractor making my schedule very open, my wife loves helping with pets of all kinds as well which allows for more care opportunities. The only thing that wouldn't likely work would be multiple days of house sitting IF I am not able to leave for 3-4 hours at a time. I have a hard time spending an extended amount of time not being able to see my infant son! I'll do whatever someone wants for their pet, assuming it's reasonable. I'm okay on multiple large walks, extended play time outside, anything like that is 100% okay. From dogs- cows- fish we would love to help provide dependable care and always ensure your pets are treated with the upmost respect and attention they deserve!

About: I have experience with all kinds of dogs! My own 2 dogs come from very different places. Belle (3 yo, mixed breed) is a medium-sized rescue dog from the island of St. Croix and Atari (4 yo, Cavachon mixed breed) was born on a farm and has been spoiled since birth! :) I also volunteer with Ruff Start USVI, the rescue service that rescued my dog Belle! I spend time with the rescue puppies, taking care of them, playing with them, etc. My family also often foster dogs from Ruff Start, Belle was a foster dog before we decided to adopt her! I am currently searching for a summer part time job so I have lots of time to take care of your pets this summer! I will be in the Ankeny area until August 10th when I move back to Ames for college! I will be able to provide services in Ames once I return! ☺️ I will update with my college schedule once it gets closer to move-in. I am completely flexible to whatever your dog may need! About: From keeping care of my family pets in the absence of my parents at a young age to spending late nights as a sitter for neighbors’ dogs, I have taken careful care of dogs in all shapes and sizes since I was twelve. I love snuggling and bonding with dogs, and I adore being there for them when their furball parents are unable to be with them. I’m a part-time worker at a hotel on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I work the evening shifts from 3-11pm. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I’m available to spend time with your pups all day! About: I have had pets since I was at least four years old, so I am very familiar with taking care of them. I also frequently dog/house/cat sit for friends and family, as well taking care of both dogs and cats at my job at an animal shelter. About: I've been around animals my entire life. My mother is a veterinarian which helps a lot with understanding and caring for various cute and cuddly creatures. I am currently working part-time, but my schedule is fairly flexible. I would love for you to give me a call and we can work something out. About: I’ve dog sat for multiple dogs in the past and love getting to bring them to the different places around the area especially the dog park, hiking trails, and stores that allow pets inside! I also would love to treat your pup to pup cups from Starbucks, Scooters, and Dunkin Dounts! I have dog sat for families overnight before and am comfortable with staying at the home. I also have cats of my own and would love to care for your cat as well! I currently work Tuesdays through Fridays with a very flexible schedule in between! My weekends are usually pretty my open and I can work with your pets schedules during my work day as I am able to move my lunch around. I am able to stay overnight with your pets any night of the week, take them on any length of walk, and spend time with them outdoors either in your backyard or at the dog park. I also love to cuddle up with your furry friends and give them the TLC they desire! I also am able to give medications, provide treats, brushing, baths and feeding. About: I have been dog sitting for my friends and family for years. I work from home 2 days a week and have a large fenced in backyard. I have a 3 bedroom house located a few block from a bike/walking trail. I would like a dog of my own but my schedule doesn’t allow for that so cuddling and spending time with your dog would be perfect. Your dog will have access to my furniture while I am home. I can maintain a set schedule and provide your dog with love and care while you are away. Your pet would be in a kennel very minimal and have lots of attention. Would just be in a kennel if I need to run errands. I have a large fenced in backyard that your pet will love to run free in. The fence was replaced summer of 2021 after the derecho. I work a hybrid schedule 3 days in an office 2 days at home. My boyfriend is home every Friday, he does not work Fridays. I have a large privacy fenced in yard for your dog to play in. I can kennel or crate your dog at your preference. I have a lock on the inside of my front door incase a dog jumps and opens the door.

About: Hi there! If you’re looking for someone with experience and love for your special doggos, you have come to the right place. I have dreamt about rescuing/taking care of animals my whole life. Just two years ago, me and my boyfriend rescued our first dog (Huxley) and in January 2022 we rescued our second dog (Ryder). That is the best decision we have ever made, I can’t imagine live without them. We always make sure they have the best toys, treats, walks daily, training, and all the love they deserve from us! I also grew up in a family with dogs and they are family to me also. I would bathe, feed, walk, play fetch, and care for them in addition to my dogs I have now. I will do anything to make sure your pup/pet is safe, comfortable, and having fun. I’m currently working full time but work at nights while studying to go to law school next year. My boyfriend works from home for Wells Fargo and we live together so it works out perfectly! I watch our dogs in the morning and when I leave for work my boyfriend will watch our dogs at night. We have a pretty flexible routine and that’s why we are passionate to help others with their pets be in the most safe, comfortable, and fun place. We care for our pets in various ways. We have a fenced in yard for our dogs to enjoy, but we also take them on 1-2 walks a day or take them to different locations to check out new places! We used to crate them when they were puppies but now they are older, they are house trained and are able to free roam. Same goes for your precious pup, we can take them for walks, play fetch, provide enrichment activities with frozen peanut butter/a ball that we put our dogs kibble in that they have to roll around to get the food out. If they need crated, or anything we can do to make you feel comfortable along with your special pup, we can do that. If they are more relax around the house dog, we can hang out with them and watch some movies. If they enjoy playing with other dogs, we have two dogs of our own that get along with any animal. They know how to play gentle and will play at whatever speed the other dog prefers. We can provide anything you as the client and dog needs from us, and promise to always keep them safe.

About: As a dog mama myself, I understand that our dogs are more than just our pets. They’re an integral part of our family! I strive to provide them with the necessary care they need, but also the enrichment they need to thrive and live a happy life. I love to play with them, take them out for walks, and provide them with love and pets.
