About: Hi there, my name is Brooks and I am a recent Iowa State graduate with a bachelors in biology with a pre vet emphasis planning on specializing in small animal medicine in vet school. I have plenty of small animal care experience through my clinical experience with dogs and cats during my time as a veterinary technician. I have experience in injections and delivering medicine so making sure an animal gets their pills or insulin is nothing new to me! I currently have a cat and have grown up with dogs all my life. About: I am professional pet boarding, dog CPR certified! Pack pro certified for CPR and first aid as well as a few other certifications through pack pro! I have always loved animals. I currently work as a manager at a doggy daycare/boarding facility. Where I have worked for the past two years. I’ve done bathing. I’ve done daycare groups. I’ve done day school, which includes minor obedience, training and agility courses. Being a manager i’ve administered many meds pills, eye drops, eardrops, liquid medicine, insulin as well as all types of wipes/balms! So I am more than comfortable with disabled, senior and just a little silly/wonky pups! I really just love all kinds of pups! I do currently work full-time 4 to 6 days a week. Typically evening shifts so I am available in the morning until noon! Then as well in the evening after 9 pm for check in’s! I have one pup a big old English mastiff 7 years old truly, a gentle giant. I also have 6 cats that he does great with! All six of my cats are comfortable/don’t really care about my pup! I am not comfortable with overnights in others homes but more then happy to have you pup come to my apartment! Or do multiple check-in/up’s throughout the evening/mornings!

About: I've been pet-sitting around my neighborhood since I was 10, and grown up alongside dogs, cats, small rodents, and reptiles. I'm far from squeamish, and I love all creatures, even if they are grumpy, irritable, or messy. I volunteer at the ARL in Ankeny! I'm currently in school, but because I'm not taking a full schedule of classes, I can be around your pets multiple times over the school week every day. I have my own car, so I'm able to get where I need to easily. I don't do sports, so I'm free almost every day of the week, save for the occasional band event. My dog is a friendly older dog who is far from aggressive. She lives to sleep and sit in the sun, and is unbothered by even the most hyper of puppies. I do not have a fenced yard, but I love to walk pets, and will walk them in the morning, at night, or whenever they need it. I also have two cats who have mastered the art of avoiding new dogs when they are over. I can be high energy or low energy depending on what a dog needs, and love to stick to a schedule. The longer and more detailed the instructions, the better!
