About: I've been pet-sitting around my neighborhood since I was 10, and grown up alongside dogs, cats, small rodents, and reptiles. I'm far from squeamish, and I love all creatures, even if they are grumpy, irritable, or messy. I volunteer at the ARL in Ankeny! I'm currently in school, but because I'm not taking a full schedule of classes, I can be around your pets multiple times over the school week every day. I have my own car, so I'm able to get where I need to easily. I don't do sports, so I'm free almost every day of the week, save for the occasional band event. My dog is a friendly older dog who is far from aggressive. She lives to sleep and sit in the sun, and is unbothered by even the most hyper of puppies. I do not have a fenced yard, but I love to walk pets, and will walk them in the morning, at night, or whenever they need it. I also have two cats who have mastered the art of avoiding new dogs when they are over. I can be high energy or low energy depending on what a dog needs, and love to stick to a schedule. The longer and more detailed the instructions, the better!

About: I trained both of my childhood dogs fun tricks. I am familiar with taking care of puppies up till senior dogs. I am comfortable with walks/bathroom trips (picking up feces if need be), feedings and medicine administration. I am a manager of a coffee shop, having a pretty flexible schedule to check on your fur baby when you need :) 🐾 Also, depending on location, I might not be available to do multiple check ins a day. I live on a first floor apartment, my kitties get a lot of enrichment from watching the birds outside. I take them on walks with me in their stroller🤣 I love loving on my babies and know I won’t fail to love on yours!

About: Hey there! As the daughter of a veterinarian, growing up around animals was a given so I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and health statuses (if your pet needs any specific care). I also have two cats of my own! I look forward to meeting your pets! I currently work a full time day job, so my availability at the moment is mostly evening/weekend, but certain circumstances may allow for additional availability depending. About: I’ve been taking care of my dogs since high school and have taken care of family friends pets as well over the years. I love animals and I love taking care of them. I am currently on summer break from school, and trying to keep myself busy this summer with a job before I have to go back. About: Let me introduce myself. I am Christina and the proud owner of a Yorkie named Maggie, American Eskimo dog named Dewey and a Morkie named Harley. I am home every evening and are pretty flexible with our work hours. Our dogs are very well socialized and spoiled. Maggie loves her toys, Dewey loves to run, and Harley loves to sleep. I am very patient and consistent with my dogs. I enjoy teaching them new tricks and keeping them stimulated. I have five children, ages 13 to 19, that may not all be at the house at the same time . The kids are very helpful with taking the dogs for walks, feeding them and playing with them outside or inside. We live in a clean, smoke free 5 bedroom home. We have a large area to run and play. We live on 8 acres and take the dogs for walks often. Our deck is the length of the house and the animals enjoy spending time sunning themselves or watching birds, deer, etc. I work full time, am usually home by 5:00 pm and off in the summer (June and July). My husband works sales and has a very flexible work schedule. I enjoy teaching dogs new tricks and keeping them stimulated. I have five children, ages 13 to 19, that may not all be at the house at the same time . About: I have been a dog walker at the ARL for 3 years. I have also taken care of many teachers, friends, and neighbors pets. As well as taken care of my school pets! I have had 2 dogs, 4 cats, 5 guinea pigs, and many other pets! I work at a veterinary clinic and have kennel shifts a few times throughout the week in the morning and evening. I am also a college student so I have classes. Aside from that I am available and fully willing to work around whatever I need ! I am a deep lover of animals. I have loved animals all my life, and I decided to pursue this love by doing all kinds of volunteer work. I have worked at the ARL as a volunteer for 3 years. I am going into college for animal ecology, and eventually going into vet school to study proper care for animals. I do whatever I can to make my dogs, cats, and other pets at my house feel as loved as possible as well as safe. I hope to make your pet feel the same way.

About: I have owned a dog since I was 7, along with helped local families by watching their dogs while on vacation. Along with during college, helping a breeder with her pups and personal dogs ranging from 1 day old to 12 years old. I am currently working an internship 3 days a week. I am completely free on my days off with just trips to the gym and local coffee shops. I am willing to spends time playing with dogs and going for walks on my days off due to having an open schedule. I am comfortable coming to other houses to make sure their dogs stay less stressed and feel for comfortable in their surroundings. I take them for walks in the neighborhood on leashes.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for just over 10 years. I’ve done house sitting, drop ins, and boarding for neighbors and friends. I have helped to train puppies, and taken care of senior dogs. I’ve also been in charge of bathing dogs, cats, and even horses! Currently I am working part-time, I am free early in the morning as well as after 3:00pm. I can house sit or board on the weekends! I have a big yard to play in! I also have a rambunctious 2 year old puppy who loves making new friends. I can easily crate your dog if needed. They will get lots of play and rest time. (Along with snuggles!)

About: I have a 5 year old cattle lab mix who has a personality like no other. I have taken care of dogs my entire life. Whether that be family, friends, or neighbors. They have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and bathe their furry beasts. While I have lived with dogs my entire life I have recently (in the past 4 years) joined the cat family and am growing my knowledge on cats. I have taken care of dogs from the ages of 3 months to 18 years and am very familiar with puppy training (mostly potty training) and senior care (slow, medications, and weak hind end). I have worked with the friendliest of dogs and some with aggression issues that were slowly and correctly worked through. When someone trusts me with their animal I treat them as my own if not better. All pets deserve the most love, attention, and of course… treats!! I am a full time student at Iowa State and a part of the Equestrian Hunt Team. I have lots of free time that I would love to dedicate to checking in on your animals or giving them a chance to stretch their legs! I would provide the best care and work with the pet owner on the specifics to what applies to their pet the best. If needed I can provide a leash for walks!

About: I have had multiple dogs since I was 6 and taken care of all of them, neighbors' and families' animals actively for the last 4ish years! I would love to add a basic groom for an extra $10 added to any service you have scheduled. I have my own dog that I trained since he was a puppy, and he is now almost two. I also take care of a family's dog on a daily basis. I do not have a fenced-in yard, but I have a huge yard with long leashes. I also love to take our dog to the dog park. If you also have a pass, I would love that. My dog is mild to high energy and loves other dogs!

About: I've been dropping in to aid family and friends with their dogs, cats, and other pets since I was in high school, and have been online doing general pet services for the last 3 or so years now. I myself have 3 cats and a snake. I have experience with giving cats eye medication, oral pills, medication mixed with treats/food, and creams. For dogs I've given creams and medication mixed with food/treats. I'm currently doing freelance work so my schedule is pretty flexible. Other than my own pet's schedule, I'm happy to find time for your pet's needs. I always make sure to check in with my clients to ensure they feel comfortable with me in their house. Things like where they're comfortable with me going and doing, where the pet(s) are allow to be, any routines that need to be done, and anything else they'd like to precaution or worry about.

About: Hi! My name is Allison, and I would love to care for your fur family member! I have grown up around dogs and have been the primary caretaker for our family pets. Not only have I cared for our family dogs (labs & golden retrievers), but I have also dog-sat and walked dogs for other family members and friends since I was 10 years old. I have experience with other animals as well. I am currently taking a summer college course (M-Th mornings) and have late morining though early evening availability. I have some weekend availability as well. I believe compassion, respect, and structure are the keys to keeping your pet safe. About: I’ve watched many dogs and two cats over the past 4 years usually over family friend vacations. I’ve worked with reactive dogs as well as two young puppies. I spoil my dogs and would be happy to treat your pets with just as much love! I am a part time college student so I have a TON of time to pet sit! As I prepare for dental school in the fall, I will also be free for summer work. I love staying with dogs in either an environment they are used to or my own depending on what the pet parent prefers! There is a fenced in dog park behind my apartment that is never occupied where I run around with dogs. If it is occupied, I would walk around the park nearby with lots to smell on the trail. I also love giving dog baths, so that could totally be included!
