About: Hi! My name is Roxy, and I’m a dependable, compassionate pet sitter who loves caring for animals of all kinds. Whether you’re away for a weekend or an extended trip, I provide loving care to help your pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy in their own environment. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and other small pets, including feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic medications, and giving plenty of attention and affection. I have two friendly Australian shepherds and experience with many breeds, sizes and ages. I have grown up with pets my entire life and owned multiple dogs for 20 years. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members! I’m currently working a hybrid schedule and am home 2-3 days during the week. I have availability for in home and drop in visits or walks during the weekend as well. I have a fenced in yard with two friendly and fixed dogs to give yours company while away. Open to in home or drop in visits as needed along with walks and needed exercise. I have two children that have been raised around pets that respect them and enjoy playing with them. If your dog prefers a crate we are a crate trained home.

About: I have taken care of my dog since he was a puppy and my brothers do for about 4 years. I also work at a doggy day care and am around all sorts of dogs and understand body language. I work mostly on the weekends. I am most available to spend the most time with your pet during the week. I have school but no more than 4 hours a day. I provide attentive and reliable pet care either in my home or in the client’s home, depending on their preference. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for by giving them plenty of attention and maintaining a clean environment. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, keep everything tidy, and ensure the pet experiences minimal disruption to their normal routine. I am also comfortable administering medications if needed and monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or health. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life. We have always had dogs, ever since I was a baby, and then got cats when I was in elementary school. I’ve taken care of both kinds of animals my entire life. I currently own two cats, a tortie and a Siamese, and enjoy my time with all the dogs in my family, as well. I don’t have any special training, but I have compassion for all animals and love spending time with pets and getting to know them. I am available Wednesday and Friday 5p-5a, and Saturday and Sunday anytime. Any prior obligations will be explained ahead of time. Pets will be fed, watered, cleaned up, exercised and loved on. I treat all pets like my own: they are well fed, well watered, and well loved. I always give animals time to adjust, make sure they have all the basics, and will follow their human’s requests to the best of my abilities. All messes will be cleaned up, meds given (as best as possible), and exercise provided where requested.

About: I've had cats my entire life, and my husband and I currently have two amazing but SUPER high energy little kitties named Eli and Finn. We are very obsessed, and they're spoiled! I have grown up in a very close, tight-knit family with LOTS of dogs and cats, and I've pet-sat more times than I can count. I LOVE animals and they tend to like me as well. I have experience with feeding, medicine, walking, vet visits, picking up animals from pet hotels, etc. I pet sit, house sit, and babysit for a lot of my family and friends, have been a nanny to my godson who has medical complications, and am well-trusted. My husband and I are going through fertility treatments, and the profit from my pet-sitting business will be supporting us in building our family! We would deeply appreciate your support while your pets receive great care in exchange! I'm in ministry school to become a hospital/hospice chaplain, a worship leader, and an entrepreneur, so my schedule is very flexible! I look forward to meeting your schedule needs. I am not able to keep pets at my home. I am able to go to the house site and take care of your fur babies, however, and spend time at your place to give your darlings some affection, give medicine, or whatever else you need done!

About: As a dog mama myself, I understand that our dogs are more than just our pets. They’re an integral part of our family! I strive to provide them with the necessary care they need, but also the enrichment they need to thrive and live a happy life. I love to play with them, take them out for walks, and provide them with love and pets. It’s important to me that they are not just physically cared for, but they are mentally stimulated through play and emotionally cared for at every visit. I'm always mindful that all pets should be greeted with a slow introduction, that does not come off as intrusive, or threatening. Even the most social pets, can behave differently when an unfamiliar person enters their home while family is not present. I always take that into consideration upon each visit, as I get to know your dog/cat, and build a trusting relationship. Whether your pet goes out on a leash, uses a fenced in yard, or requires potty pads to go to the bathroom, I'll follow your instructions as discussed through the Rover app, or during our initial "meet and greet". Requested information about your pet -Medication schedule -Behavioral issues that may affect walking your pet on public sidewalks, history of biting or aggression while being fed. -Ongoing medical conditions -Vet number and/or emergency contact I currently work on a hybrid schedule - 3 days in West Des Moines and 2 days at home in Ankeny. I have a flexible schedule where I can pop around to your pet when needed. I have a heart for animals along with the patience needed to give quality pet care. Your pet will always come first and I would treat them as if they are my own.

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with five at a time—mostly black labs and black lab/German shepherd mixes—so I’m very used to bigger, stronger dogs. My dad often took us to dog events when I was a kid, which gave me plenty of experience handling all kinds of breeds and personalities. Along the way, I also picked up basic training skills, so I know how to keep dogs engaged, cared for, and comfortable. I’m currently a full time college student but I would be able give pet care in between classes during the day and some some weekends as needed When I care for pets in your home, I always follow their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they get plenty of love, attention, exercise, and playtime while keeping things consistent with their food, walks, and sleeping schedule. I’m happy to reinforce any training or commands you use, and I’ll keep your home tidy while making sure your pet always has fresh water and a cozy space.
