Bailey was great. She sent lots of pictures and took the puppy out for potty breaks several times (because of small puppy bladders). “Taylor was amazing with our two corgis! One pup just had major emergency surgery and was healing great but was in a cone and on activity restriction + needed his incision checked daily. We had a trip planned that we thought about cancelling but knowing Taylor was very experienced in animal care we felt very comfortable with her watching our pup post-surgery. She provided lots of updates and was super quick to communicate with. We came home to happy pups and were able to enjoy our short trip knowing they were in such great hands. I’m the first to admit that I’m a helicopter dog mom and can be very picky when looking for a house/pet sitter and I’d recommend Taylor to anyone!”

About: I have grown up with and owned animals my entire life. I am a first year veterinary student at Iowa State University, and received my Bachelor's in Animal Science from Iowa State. I have taken care of friends, family, and neighbors pets over the past 10 years. I have also worked at multiple veterinary clinics, as well as at a doggy daycare. My schedule is fairly flexible, there are a couple weekends that I will be busy. Please reach out, I am happy to accommodate wherever I can. I have a large fenced in backyard, and have a 3.5 year old Australian Shepherd named King. I live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks to take dogs on safe walks. I will follow all instructions and provide attention, exercise, and play time while you are away.

“Katie is fantastic! She has watched our dogs numerous times over the years and I always leave 100% confident that my dogs will not only be well cared for, but will feel loved. She has no issues with the little ones being in her lap or sitting on the floor so the big ones can (almost) be in her lap. Katie's calm and gentle nature seems to attract even the most nervous paw-friend. I know Katie has experience with some fear-based behaviors, such as excessive barking, shyness, and hiding. She manages each with patience and kindness. Katie responds timely for any requested updates or check-ins. I have always been pleased with the pet-care services she has provided for me and my family. For reference, the pups she has watched for us include a pocket beagle (geriatric), labs (young and old), and a border collie.”
