“Our lab, Yeller, has stayed with Steve and Tilaine twice during our summer vacation and he has a wonderful time in their home. They are loving and responsible and treat him like family. He loves playing in their fenced yard with the kids, laying in the sun on their deck, and all the attention he gets throughout his stay. When we dropped Yeller off for his second stay with them, about a year after the first one, he enthusiastically bolted from the car right up to Steve and immediately made himself at home again. They have also been flexible with our return time as our flight was delayed and accommodated an extension of the stay on short notice. Highly recommend this family for your dog sitting needs!”

About: While I have never owned my own cat (that will change in the new future), I have lived with cats for the past three years. I was fortunate enough that my college roommate had a cat, who became like my own. Over the three years of living with him, I cared for him on multiple occasions where his mom was out of town, so I was able to gain experience with all the aspects of taking care of a cat in their home. About: I’ve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. About: I love all types of pets. I’m very affectionate, attentive to details, responsible, high energy. Pets make me feel less anxious and I love them in my lap I am available any after before 8 am and after 4 pm for a walk or feed the pets. All day during the weekends to watch them. Any day during the week for overnight care I take them everyday once a day and let them go outside to pee and poo because I have a danced yard. I feed my dog twice a day, and give a bath every 2 weeks. I these her every other day. Control fleas and worm every month, and take her for nail trim every 3 weeks.

About: I have personally had a pet or 3 since I was 13 years old. I begged for a cat for years and once I got one, I never have been without at least one pet. I have been volunteering with the ARL since 2005. I have had 30+ foster dogs through them as well. I just love animals. I do have weekends blocked but just ask about availability! I am retired. I enjoy going for walks with dogs and depending on the dog spending time outside in my fenced in backyard. I have a 6 foot fence. Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. The "regulars" get to sleep in our beds while our guests get other accommodations. It makes for better harmony for us. Because we foster on a regular basis our animals are very used to different dogs coming into our home. Our home is pretty quiet and relaxing.

About: I have nine years of pet care experience. I raised and showed Rex rabbits for 4 years. Personally I have trained and care for my own dogs. After High School I work in an Animal Hospital. My duties there included receiving the animals for appointments, prepping and assisting in surgeries, keeping accurate records, cleaning and sanitation of the facilities. I am available to care for pets full time as I am looking to make a career out of caring for pets as I pursue a position as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician. I would be able to care for the animals in their own homes keeping them safe in the comfort of their own space and environment.
About: I’ve taken care of a range of animals that I think equips me for the kindness, knowledge, and skills to care for your pet. I’ve had many cats and dogs including a lab and a Great Dane. Training them in both in potty training to playing dead. I’m currently a student at ISU but have classes only Tuesday and Thursday till 5 so am open the rest of the week. I don’t have a job yet so free for whenever. I’ve done lots of pet sitting before at other’s homes my home does not accept pets though. I’m very trustworthy and comfortable with the boundaries you may have at your home.
About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and am around different types of dogs regularly. I am very passionate about caring for dogs. I work part-time and attend college. I am available pretty much every day during the summer, my summer is fairly open until mid August when I go back to school. I have one dog at my apartment, but when I am home, there are three more dogs. I am very attentive when it comes to caring for dogs, and I love to entertain them and take them for walks.
About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 6. During college I got a dog of my own. After I was done with undergrad, I babysat many of my old teammates dogs and had great feedback. I have all the necessary skills and tools to care for any dog. I could also schedule a play date with my own dog if wanted! I am going to start my job in Boone and a family medicine PA-C in December and looking for work til then! While I wait for my new job to begin in December, I have a very flexible schedule and am available anytime to care for your pets! Prefer a fenced in yard if you have multiple dogs but I have no problem walking them. I have no other preferences at this time.
About: My friends, family and neighbors have come to me when they need someone to look after their pets. I’ve pet sit for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, fish and reptiles. During the week, I have veterinary school with breaks between classes. I was a vet assistant for 5 years so I gained plenty of experience with a variety of animals. Animal care is one of my passions so walking and sitting in my free time is something I enjoy! I’m am a veterinary student during the week so I’m looking to help walk dogs or pet sit on the weekends and days I get off. I have breaks between classes that I can utilize as well I live in an apartment with lots of trails and parks nearby. I hope to get them outside and walking especially during nice days. I’m more than happy to go to the pet to stay/check on them when you’re away

“Our lab, Yeller, has stayed with Steve and Tilaine twice during our summer vacation and he has a wonderful time in their home. They are loving and responsible and treat him like family. He loves playing in their fenced yard with the kids, laying in the sun on their deck, and all the attention he gets throughout his stay. When we dropped Yeller off for his second stay with them, about a year after the first one, he enthusiastically bolted from the car right up to Steve and immediately made himself at home again. They have also been flexible with our return time as our flight was delayed and accommodated an extension of the stay on short notice. Highly recommend this family for your dog sitting needs!”

About: Hi! I'm Ross, I grew up having Labrador Retrievers as family pets and have always had a strong love of dogs. I like all dogs, big or small! I'm great at responding to a pets needs. I love to give them the attention and play that they want while maintaining appropriate disciple/doggie boundaries ( like not jumping up on strangers). I am good at reading dogs body language which helps to know if they are tired, playful, need to go to the bathroom, not feeling well, or just need some attention! Working from home gives me extra flexibilty to give the pups extra attention when they need it. Regardless of the setting I am able to follow the guidelines that you have set up for your pet.
