“Katrina kept our two boys in her home for several days while were out of the country and we cannot recommend her highly enough. We visited her home twice before our trip and felt very reassured. While we were away, she was in regular communication and sent lots of photos. One of our guys has a recurring eye issue and it flared up badly while we were away. Katrina took great care of him. She took him to our vet and administered his medications. We were very worried about him and are so grateful to Katrina's family for taking such great care of him. I'd booked the incorrect dates and Katrina was flexible, making arrangements to extend our reservation. Katrina provided us (and our boys) an exceptional experience. “My cat, Avocado, got so much love at Angela's house! I really appreciate that Angela has a good system for keeping cats separate from the small dogs if that's what you want for your cat. Avocado stayed in a lovely furnished basement (with windows) during the day and spent the night up in the bedrooms with the family, so she had her own safe space while still getting plenty of human interaction. It was so fun to get pictures of Avocado cuddling with them and making herself at home. I boarded her there for almost two weeks and she was in good health and great spirits when I picked her up. I immediately rebooked to board her at Angela's again during my next trip!”

I've had a few pets over the years; right now a 7 year old Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu named Snoopy. I've also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for the past two years. About: I’ve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. In my mid 20s I trained as a vet tech, prepping animals for surgery, giving vaccinations, nail trims, etc. Until the ISU Wildlife Clinic closed, I volunteered there, learning more care for wild native animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, I can’t imagine life without animals. I currently have a senior border collie named Lola, she has arthritis so sometimes she needs help getting around and I’m always willing to help my girl. I also have a senior cat. Currently I’m a doordash/grub hub driver, so I literally am free 24/7 to care for your pets! I will prioritize Rover over delivery, so I can work with any schedule you need. I’m available for repeat needs (several walks a week, drop ins, etc). I live in a duplex with a yard. For me to board a pet, they would need to get along with my dog, and she can honestly be a bit grumpy meeting new dogs, so I feel going to the client’s home would be best. I will respect your home and follow whatever instructions you have for the care of your pets.

About: I love all types of pets. I’m very affectionate, attentive to details, responsible, high energy. Pets make me feel less anxious and I love them in my lap I am available any after before 8 am and after 4 pm for a walk or feed the pets. All day during the weekends to watch them. Any day during the week for overnight care I take them everyday once a day and let them go outside to pee and poo because I have a danced yard. I feed my dog twice a day, and give a bath every 2 weeks. I these her every other day. Control fleas and worm every month, and take her for nail trim every 3 weeks.

Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. About: I've been pet-sitting around my neighborhood since I was 10, and grown up alongside dogs, cats, small rodents, and reptiles. I'm far from squeamish, and I love all creatures, even if they are grumpy, irritable, or messy. I volunteer at the ARL in Ankeny! I'm currently in school, but because I'm not taking a full schedule of classes, I can be around your pets multiple times over the school week every day. I have my own car, so I'm able to get where I need to easily. I don't do sports, so I'm free almost every day of the week, save for the occasional band event. My dog is a friendly older dog who is far from aggressive. She lives to sleep and sit in the sun, and is unbothered by even the most hyper of puppies. I do not have a fenced yard, but I love to walk pets, and will walk them in the morning, at night, or whenever they need it. I also have two cats who have mastered the art of avoiding new dogs when they are over. I can be high energy or low energy depending on what a dog needs, and love to stick to a schedule. The longer and more detailed the instructions, the better!

At times, our “grand-pets” visit. Our dogs get along well with the grand-dogs 🐶 and grand-cats 😺 and at one time, the grand-Guinea pigs 🐹! While I am with your pet(s) I will record videos 🎥 and or take photos 📸 of your pet with updates on their status. “Katrina kept our two boys in her home for several days while were out of the country and we cannot recommend her highly enough. We visited her home twice before our trip and felt very reassured. While we were away, she was in regular communication and sent lots of photos. One of our guys has a recurring eye issue and it flared up badly while we were away. Katrina took great care of him. She took him to our vet and administered his medications. We were very worried about him and are so grateful to Katrina's family for taking such great care of him. I'd booked the incorrect dates and Katrina was flexible, making arrangements to extend our reservation. Katrina provided us (and our boys) an exceptional experience. We would not hesitate to book her again and recommend her unequivocally!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I was pleased with Jessica’s quick response time and enthusiasm to meet and care for Blanca. The process was easy and drop off went smoothly. Jessica’s dog was in a kennel when we arrived to make drop off less stressful for both dogs. The pups were introduced after we left to get their sniffing done on neutral territory (on a walk out front). We received photos and updates during our whole time away and knew Blanca was happy and safe. We would be happy to use Jessica again in the future!”
