Dog Walking Moran

About: Throughout high school and my first two years at college, I've consistently had the opportunity to dog sit for coworkers, friends, family, or people who knew me from a friend! I'm used to taking dogs on walks and caring for them in their homes. I currently don't have a pet of my own so it's always nice to hang out with other people's pets! I will be a student at Iowa State University this fall. I want to be able to get out and hang with your pet or take them for a walk! It'll be the perfect break from studying and any stress. My schedule at ISU is pretty flexible for anyone's pet needing care in the early morning, evening, or nighttime! I take extra precaution when I meet new pets to try and figure out and understand their nature and what's normal for them. I always ensure that every instruction from the owner is noted and followed. I love to form connections to new pets and watch them get comfortable around me or even become more and more excited to see me! I will only be able to visit the client's home as my apartment does not allow pets.

I love being able to use that flexibility to help care for other families’ pets whenever they need it. About: I have been the main caretaker of any animal I’ve ever had, some because I was the one who begged for it. And others because I just love animals so much that their care is only half the fun. I have experience with animals in all stages of life, from puppies to seniors. My puppy experience ranges from being the one who nursing a parvo puppy back to excellent health, she is now 3 years old and thriving. I also have a senior dog, who is such a joy but I think he forgets he has arthritis with all of his puppy antics. I also have a lot experience with teaching many tricks so don’t be surprised if your animal learns something new every time they see me! I work from home and have only two courses a day, so I have a lot of time on my hands to do a good pet care routine. My babies (my cats and hermit crabs) are on a routine or rather I am. We do feedings in the morning and have an hour of down time for everyone to “stretch” their legs before I go to class. I’m away for 3 hours before I’m back and during that time I can walk a dog if one is staying. And then I work from home so pretty much I’m at the animals beck and call whenever they need anything. I am in an apartment which lessens the risk of anything happening to your pet on my watch! Also with living in an apartment by campus we can always go for walks and meet some college students wanting some animal love!

About: I used to work as a certified dog trainer and managed a daycare / boarding facility for 2 years. I was an employee there for longer. 12 hour days every day with dogs of all types. I know how to administer medications, including insulin. I also know how to handle myself in emergency situations, I've learned dog first aid and I've broken up fights in my time that would've been deadly if I wasn't there. I am currently a general contractor making my schedule very open, my wife loves helping with pets of all kinds as well which allows for more care opportunities. The only thing that wouldn't likely work would be multiple days of house sitting IF I am not able to leave for 3-4 hours at a time. I have a hard time spending an extended amount of time not being able to see my infant son! I'll do whatever someone wants for their pet, assuming it's reasonable. I'm okay on multiple large walks, extended play time outside, anything like that is 100% okay. From dogs- cows- fish we would love to help provide dependable care and always ensure your pets are treated with the upmost respect and attention they deserve!

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies! I am available anytime after 10am every day! My apartment complex is very pet friendly! I also live near downtown so the fur babies and I can go on long or short beautiful walks!

About: I have had pets my entire adult life, and I know how important it is to you to find the right person to take care of them while you’re away. I am committed to taking care of your pets like they’re my own, and I’m excited to provide lots of love and fun! I work from home, and my husband is a full time dad, so we’d be happy to spend time with your pets, go for walks as a family, and see to their every need! We have pet gates throughout the home, extra kennels if needed, and a fenced in yard. We are also comfortable giving medication orally or via injection if needed.

About: I have experience with all kinds of dogs! My own 2 dogs come from very different places. Belle (3 yo, mixed breed) is a medium-sized rescue dog from the island of St. Croix and Atari (4 yo, Cavachon mixed breed) was born on a farm and has been spoiled since birth! :) I also volunteer with Ruff Start USVI, the rescue service that rescued my dog Belle! I spend time with the rescue puppies, taking care of them, playing with them, etc. My family also often foster dogs from Ruff Start, Belle was a foster dog before we decided to adopt her! I am currently searching for a summer part time job so I have lots of time to take care of your pets this summer! I will be in the Ankeny area until August 10th when I move back to Ames for college! I will be able to provide services in Ames once I return! ☺️ I will update with my college schedule once it gets closer to move-in. I am completely flexible to whatever your dog may need! I can perfectly heed to any dog schedule and follow along with any weird little quirk! I love sending pictures and will send plenty of updates or only a few, whatever you prefer!

About: I've always had pets be apart of my life ever since I can remember. I love all animals! I've had experience with both cats and dogs. I'm familiar with senior pets as well, my furry friend is living his best senior life right now. I'm able to give oral medications as well if need be! I can't wait to have you trust me into taking care of your fur babies! Thank you for considering me to love on your animals! I'm currently a stay at home mom taking care of my two boys and our one dog. I have pretty open availability for whenever you need! Your pets will get plenty of play time and love while they're with me, they'll be treated just as if they were my own. I love to take them outside to get some energy out and enjoy the nice weather. About: I have been dog sitting for my friends and family for years. I work from home 2 days a week and have a large fenced in backyard. I have a 3 bedroom house located a few block from a bike/walking trail. I would like a dog of my own but my schedule doesn’t allow for that so cuddling and spending time with your dog would be perfect. Your dog will have access to my furniture while I am home. I can maintain a set schedule and provide your dog with love and care while you are away. Your pet would be in a kennel very minimal and have lots of attention. Would just be in a kennel if I need to run errands. I have a large fenced in backyard that your pet will love to run free in. The fence was replaced summer of 2021 after the derecho. I work a hybrid schedule 3 days in an office 2 days at home. My boyfriend is home every Friday, he does not work Fridays. I have a large privacy fenced in yard for your dog to play in. I can kennel or crate your dog at your preference. I have a lock on the inside of my front door incase a dog jumps and opens the door.

About: I’ve pet sat since middle school with varying animals including dogs, cats, and even rabbits. I’m a big animal person hoping to ensure that your furry companions are in the hands of someone efficient and careing. I also work part time at a cat cafe in valley junction so I work with cats on a regular basis. With general pet care I am always trying to be as available as I can. Im only unavailable once a week (typically Thursday and Fridays, but it differs). I am always very flexible. I have a fenced in yard and a dog at home that is fairly well behaved around other dogs. I do not have a crate at my home and would prefer to care for your pet in your home.
