About: All my life i’ve been caring for family pets but within the last few years I have done walks, drop in’s, overnights, and feedings for friends and family (dogs and cats) I have worked with dogs from puppies to seniors and can give tailored care to your animal’s specific needs. I also have lots of experience with cats, I have four myself and love being around them!! I have had practice giving medication to pups orally so can also help with that if need be!! I’m currently not working another job so my schedule is extremely flexible!! I rarely have other commitments so chances are i’ll be available if you need a sitter for your furry friends!! I am unavailable from 4-5 on weekday evenings. Safety is extremely important to me, i’ve definitely been called an over worrier but in my opinion safe is always better than sorry. Keeping my own animals safe and happy is and always has been one of my number one priorities and I promise to treat your pets with the exact same level of care. Making sure they have all their necessities and that anything dangerous or off limits is out of reach or put away is another things that’s very important to me because I know how much our furry friends love to get into things. Home safety is big as well, things like ensuring doors are locked and setting alarms if they are available so you know your pets and your home are being taken care of.

About: I’ve taken care of puppies, kittens and senior dogs and cats. I am patient and take the lead from them whether they are shy or playful. I am comfortable administering medication, as needed. I will treat your pet as a member if your family. I will ensure their safety and well-being while you are away. I’m newly retired and looking for something meaningful to spend my time. What can be better their caring and loving someone’s fur-babies! I have reliable transportation and have a flexible schedule. I am reliable, responsible and understand that pets need routine. I will come in and respect your home as my own. I will provide loving care of your pets including play, walks and snuggles.

About: My experience in the dog industry goes beyond just boarding or sitting. I have the knowledge, skills, and experience training dogs of all ages and breeds, including service dogs. I currently work part time teaching group classes, leaving quite a bit of my time available to do other things involving dogs. In addition to a safe and friendly place to stay, your dog will get daily enrichment activities and, if needed, house manners training (go to place, leave it, keeping all 4 paws on the floor, going in/out of doorways). I work part-time training group classes, which allows me to have the time needed to care for the dogs staying with me. I'm available for boarding during the week, weekends, most holidays, single overnights and extended stays. My availability for day time sitting can vary but my calendar will always be updated with those times. All interactions between dogs are supervised to ensure those interactions are a positive experience and a safe experience. I don't have a fenced in yard so each time going outside is on leash, so leash manners will be worked on. I have crates and exercise pens for dogs who get crated at night. During meal times dogs are separated from each other as a precaution to prevent resource guarding. I do have a "gated community" inside my house to prevent mischief in the kitchen or going upstairs to bedrooms.

About: Throughout high school, I was asked to dog sit many times whether it was for coworkers, friends, family, or people who knew me from a friend! I'm used to taking dogs on walks and caring for them in their homes. We have always had a dog in the house as well, so I'm familiar with the needs that have to be fulfilled for dogs! I am a college student and taking classes at DMACC. Since I only attend one in-person class, I figured I'd like to get out of the house some way by dog sitting/walking! I have a job at a restaurant that I work at for 3 days a week, but I wanted to find another way to keep myself busy until I transfer to a university this fall. In the past, I have always gone to a client's house to care for their dog or dog walk. I live in an apartment and wouldn't be allowed to have and care for pets in my home.

About: I have been around animals all throughout my life. I am recently new to the rover community and looking to get a step in the door. I am comfortable around any sort of animal and am willing to adapt and learn as I go. I am currently a student but have a lot of free time on my hands! I love to go on walks and would love to take your fur baby outside! I have a fenced in backyard and a friendly dog that loves to play. I take my dog on daily walks and am qualified to give her oral medication daily. She gets lots of pets and pup cups to know she feels loved.

About: Hello! My name is Jhoceline and I live in Grimes, IA! I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my husband Luis, baby boy and doggie Luna. Although it is an apartment the space is cozy with a balcony overlooking a pond with and has a spacious living room for the dogs to run around. The neighborhood is relaxed and very pet friendly. I’ve has doggies as far back as I can remember so I definitely have a soft spot for animals! We are here to have a day filled with play or a lazy one on the couch enjoying a nice movie! We have a lot of open space in the community as well as a nice trail just a few minutes away for those extra long walks! My goal is to make sure your pup enjoys their stay away from home and is comfortable as possible. I will maintain any schedules you have and make sure your dog gets extra love during their time apart. I am able to host from small to large dogs at my home but am also available for traveling/sitting if you prefer I stay in your home! I’m currently a stay at home mom so I have plenty of time to give your pup the attention they need whether that means going on extra long walks or relaxing on the couch with some belly rubs! I have a spacious balcony overlooking a beautiful pond for this mid-day sun naps! I also have a friendly pup who will keep your fur baby entertained.

About: I have been around and had my own dogs my whole life. When I was a kid I had a husky, and currently have two small dogs, a dachshund papillion mix, and a chihuahua. I have also dog-sat for friends many times, as well as helped take care of my roommates’ animals! Safe to say, I love dogs of any size. My dachshund-papillion mix is about to turn 15 years old, so I am familiar with older dogs and their limitations, as well as extra attention they may need. I will be starting work part-time and would love to help out with pet care! I love going for walks, and taking a furry friend is an extra benefit:) I also just love spending time with animals, and with starting grad school soon, spending time with pets will be a nice way to break up the day! Having an elderly dog, I am aware that some pets need more one-on-one time than others. I am able to provide care to dogs of all ages, and know as well that different owners have different preferences to how their dogs are cared for. I adapt to whatever you and your pet may need!
