About: I have worked as a Supervisor at Wags Pet Resort and Hotel in Ankeny, IA for 5 years in October! I have worked with all different personalities, types, ages, sizes, and behavior of dogs. I have gained a lot of knowledge about dogs and the best ways to work with them based on their personalities and behaviors! I have experience with administering medication, baths, and caring for injuries. I would love to set up a meet and greet and understand your dog and your expectations of my visits! I am currently a Direct Support Professional and Personal Care Assistant in Iowa city! I also volunteer at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital! I have pretty open availability on the weekends and randomly throughout the weekdays! I will be as flexible as possible and willing to work with your schedule! I have a dog of my own so I understand what it takes to care for an animal inside a home. I would let your pet out multiple times during the day and stay outside and play with them to help wear their energy out. I think it is important for your pet to be outside and running around or just getting attention depending on their behavior and moods! Due to my experience I am able to see what a dog needs and wants based on their actions and I am willing to spend time with them multiple times throughout the day!

About: I have experience with all kinds of dogs! My own 2 dogs come from very different places. Belle (3 yo, mixed breed) is a medium-sized rescue dog from the island of St. Croix and Atari (4 yo, Cavachon mixed breed) was born on a farm and has been spoiled since birth! :) I also volunteer with Ruff Start USVI, the rescue service that rescued my dog Belle! I spend time with the rescue puppies, taking care of them, playing with them, etc. My family also often foster dogs from Ruff Start, Belle was a foster dog before we decided to adopt her! I am currently searching for a summer part time job so I have lots of time to take care of your pets this summer! I will be in the Ankeny area until August 10th when I move back to Ames for college! I will be able to provide services in Ames once I return! ☺️ I will update with my college schedule once it gets closer to move-in. I am completely flexible to whatever your dog may need! I can perfectly heed to any dog schedule and follow along with any weird little quirk! I love sending pictures and will send plenty of updates or only a few, whatever you prefer!

About: My experience in the dog industry goes beyond just boarding or sitting. I have the knowledge, skills, and experience training dogs of all ages and breeds, including service dogs. I currently work part time teaching group classes, leaving quite a bit of my time available to do other things involving dogs. In addition to a safe and friendly place to stay, your dog will get daily enrichment activities and, if needed, house manners training (go to place, leave it, keeping all 4 paws on the floor, going in/out of doorways). I work part-time training group classes, which allows me to have the time needed to care for the dogs staying with me. I'm available for boarding during the week, weekends, most holidays, single overnights and extended stays. My availability for day time sitting can vary but my calendar will always be updated with those times. All interactions between dogs are supervised to ensure those interactions are a positive experience and a safe experience. I don't have a fenced in yard so each time going outside is on leash, so leash manners will be worked on. I have crates and exercise pens for dogs who get crated at night. During meal times dogs are separated from each other as a precaution to prevent resource guarding. I do have a "gated community" inside my house to prevent mischief in the kitchen or going upstairs to bedrooms.

About: I am an animal lover. I have a labradoodle. I am patient and very good with pets. I would love to meet and interact with your pet! I am available weekends. I work monday through friday, although sometimes i may be available. I am pretty flexible just let me know what you need. I have a fenced in yard with a beautiful prairie behind it as well as a path that my dog loves. We keep doors shut to keep dogs out of areas they don’t need to be in.

About: I have a rescue dog and have worked with other rescues. I have experience in working with shy dogs who need a little more attention. I will love and take care of your pet like it’s my own! I have a golden retriever (Murphy) and a cat (Harlow) and I spend a lot of time with these cuties. I work full time but I love making time for the fur babies. I don’t have anything toxic for pets in my home that they could get into and I don’t feed my pets table scraps just in case.

About: Growing up, I’ve cared for animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and love their pets. I truly love all animals and enjoy staying active, so whether your dog needs a long walk, run, or extra playtime, I’m happy to help! As a full-time teacher, my availability is limited during the school year. However, I am primarily looking to provide pet care during the summer months when I have a very open and flexible schedule. Throughout the summer, I am available most days and accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and loving environment. I will follow each pets routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific instructions you provide.

Whether your pet goes out on a leash, uses a fenced in yard, or requires potty pads to go to the bathroom, I'll follow your instructions as discussed through the Rover app, or during our initial "meet and greet". I have a flexible schedule where I can pop around to your pet when needed. I have a heart for animals along with the patience needed to give quality pet care. Your pet will always come first and I would treat them as if they are my own.

About: I've been dropping in to aid family and friends with their dogs, cats, and other pets since I was in high school, and have been online doing general pet services for the last 3 or so years now. I myself have 3 cats and a snake. I have experience with giving cats eye medication, oral pills, medication mixed with treats/food, and creams. For dogs I've given creams and medication mixed with food/treats. I'm currently doing freelance work so my schedule is pretty flexible. Other than my own pet's schedule, I'm happy to find time for your pet's needs. I always make sure to check in with my clients to ensure they feel comfortable with me in their house. Things like where they're comfortable with me going and doing, where the pet(s) are allow to be, any routines that need to be done, and anything else they'd like to precaution or worry about.
