And her own dog Mia does such a good job of respecting Nila’s boundaries but also encouraging her to play and get out of her comfort zone. Jen treats every dog with so much love and care as if it was her own, and goes above and beyond any expectations we had.”

About: I love animals and have been taking care of family and neighbor pets since I was young. I previously worked at a veterinary clinic and have experience taking care of dogs of all size and ages! We have an active 6 year old golden retriever, and a 9 year old cat who we love very much! I am a 1st grade teacher, and love to spend my summers taking care of pets. I am home all day in the summer, and can make sure dogs get plenty of attention and outdoors time! We have a fenced in yard and a friendly golden retriever who loves to meet other dogs. We like to take walks on the trails around our neighborhood, and play in the backyard.

About: I have personally had a pet or 3 since I was 13 years old. I begged for a cat for years and once I got one, I never have been without at least one pet. I have been volunteering with the ARL since 2005. I have had 30+ foster dogs through them as well. I just love animals. I do have weekends blocked but just ask about availability! I am retired. I enjoy going for walks with dogs and depending on the dog spending time outside in my fenced in backyard. I have a 6 foot fence. Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. The "regulars" get to sleep in our beds while our guests get other accommodations. It makes for better harmony for us. Because we foster on a regular basis our animals are very used to different dogs coming into our home. Our home is pretty quiet and relaxing.

About: My experience in the dog industry goes beyond just boarding or sitting. I have the knowledge, skills, and experience training dogs of all ages and breeds, including service dogs. I currently work part time teaching group classes, leaving quite a bit of my time available to do other things involving dogs. In addition to a safe and friendly place to stay, your dog will get daily enrichment activities and, if needed, house manners training (go to place, leave it, keeping all 4 paws on the floor, going in/out of doorways). I work part-time training group classes, which allows me to have the time needed to care for the dogs staying with me. I'm available for boarding during the week, weekends, most holidays, single overnights and extended stays. My availability for day time sitting can vary but my calendar will always be updated with those times. All interactions between dogs are supervised to ensure those interactions are a positive experience and a safe experience. I don't have a fenced in yard so each time going outside is on leash, so leash manners will be worked on. I have crates and exercise pens for dogs who get crated at night. During meal times dogs are separated from each other as a precaution to prevent resource guarding. I do have a "gated community" inside my house to prevent mischief in the kitchen or going upstairs to bedrooms.

About: I have grown up with dogs and taken care of dogs my whole life!! I absolutely love dogs more than anything and have dog sat a ton!! But what sets me apart is I am home almost all the time so I will be here to take care of your dog 24/7!! I can take them on walks as much or as little as you would like! :) I am currently a student on break this summer so I am home very often to play, walk and care for your pets!! I am planning to go study animal science after this summer to be a vet!! Your dog will get more than enough affection from me as I love all animals!! ;) I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for your dogs to enjoy!
