About: I’ve taken care of my family’s, friends', and neighbors' cats and dogs since I was a child. I have a knack for getting even the most nervous of pets to feel comfortable around me and most of my friends consider me as their pet’s "cool aunt". I am comfortable with small and large dogs and cats, and I always strive to keep the minds of the pets I’m watching stimulated and engaged. With me, your pet will never miss out on snuggles and play time. I am also familiar with geriatric and disabled pets and I am comfortable giving oral medication. I am currently a graduate student finishing up my master’s degree in wildlife ecology, so I have a fairly flexible schedule at the moment. This means that I will have time to prioritize your pet’s care. While I cannot care for pets in my own home, I will gladly come to yours. I am comfortable preparing food, feeding, and giving oral medication to your pet. Additionally, I will gladly keep up with any ongoing training you are already doing with your pet while you are gone.

About: Hey there! As the daughter of a veterinarian, growing up around animals was a given so I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and health statuses (if your pet needs any specific care). I also have two cats of my own! I look forward to meeting your pets! I currently work a full time day job, so my availability at the moment is mostly evening/weekend, but certain circumstances may allow for additional availability depending. I’ll be sure to help your pets just as safe with me as they feel with you and try to maintain their normal routine to the best of my ability.

About: I have loved all animals for as long as I can remember. I take pet care very seriously, and want to do my best to provide great service to pets and owners alike! I work part time as a direct support professional, and I am currently only working evening shifts on Mondays and Thursdays. I would be available all day (about 7am - 11pm) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. As of right now, I will only be able to take care of pets in clients homes and take dogs for walks, but I have experience with many different dogs and cats and knowing boundaries/behavior signs.

About: I am a stay at home dog , mom with a flexible schedule. I first learned by helping my grandfather and stepdad, who were coon dog hauler. I cleaned the kennels, fed dogs, and learned how to read behavior from a young age. As an adult, I’ve worked with reactive and nervous dogs, including a foster dog with aggression who taught me a lot about triggers, stress, and safe handling. I live in a duplex that feels like a house, not a basic apartment. Dogs have plenty of room to relax and explore, plus a calm environment where they can settle in. I have experience with reptiles as I have had three iguanas and a bearded dragon when I was Younger. My first emotional support animal was a lion head Rabbit. I have knowledge and experience working With cats. My mother had two rag doll , cats and a mainecoon that I used to care for. What I Offer: Overnight boarding and dog sitting Enrichment activities (puzzles, scent games, scavenger hunts) & gentle Decompression walks. I believe every dog needs time for sniffing and exploring the world. Therefore, I take my time on walks and let them be dogs! Safe handling for reactive or anxious dogs. A calm, patient environment with structure I personalize each stay based on your dog’s needs so they feel safe, happy. I am currently home most mornings and afternoons. which keeps my schedule flexible day-to-day. Because of that, I’m able to work around most timing needs — early mornings are best on the weekends. Late afternoons, evenings, and overnight care when needed. If anything in my life changes (like school) I have a 5 year old springer doodle Who is my best friend. He gets along well with most dogs. I definitely have to do meet and greets beforehand. I have plenty of time for walks and Drop in visits. I would love to play with your pups and spend quality time with them. About: Hi! My name is Allison, and I would love to care for your fur family member! I have grown up around dogs and have been the primary caretaker for our family pets. Not only have I cared for our family dogs (labs & golden retrievers), but I have also dog-sat and walked dogs for other family members and friends since I was 10 years old. I have experience with other animals as well. I am currently taking a summer college course (M-Th mornings) and have late morining though early evening availability. I have some weekend availability as well. I believe compassion, respect, and structure are the keys to keeping your pet safe. My goal is to do what is right for the animals in my care while building a good relationship with their human parents. I will treat your fur family members and their homes with respect and care.

About: In addition to having dogs and cats as my childhood pets, I also worked with the Puppy Jake Foundation training service dogs for wounded veterans for two years, and spent a summer interning at Kawa Farms K-9 Training. I have always adored all pets, but dogs and cats have a special place in my heart! I’m spending the summer in Ames and have a flexible schedule, so I’m available for last-minute bookings, frequent walks, overnight care, and lots of attention/playtime. I’m working part-time remotely over the summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. I typically work about 4–5 hours on weekdays, leaving me with lots of availability for drop-in visits, walks, boarding, daycare, and overnight sitting. Because I spend most of my time at home, I’m able to give pets lots of attention, supervision, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I also have flexibility for early morning, evening, and weekend care, and I’m happy to accommodate pets’ normal routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and cared for. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for based on their individual routine and needs. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, medication instructions, and any specific preferences owners share with me. In my home, pets would have plenty of attention, supervision, and space to relax indoors. I do have an unfenced yard, so all outdoor time would be supervised and pets would always be kept safely on a leash when outside. In clients’ homes, I do my best to maintain pets’ normal routines to help them feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, updates/photos, and lots of companionship throughout the visit. I also make sure the home stays clean and secure while I’m there.

About: I have a 5 year old cattle lab mix who has a personality like no other. I have taken care of dogs my entire life. Whether that be family, friends, or neighbors. They have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and bathe their furry beasts. While I have lived with dogs my entire life I have recently (in the past 4 years) joined the cat family and am growing my knowledge on cats. I have taken care of dogs from the ages of 3 months to 18 years and am very familiar with puppy training (mostly potty training) and senior care (slow, medications, and weak hind end). I have worked with the friendliest of dogs and some with aggression issues that were slowly and correctly worked through. When someone trusts me with their animal I treat them as my own if not better. All pets deserve the most love, attention, and of course… treats!! I am a full time student at Iowa State and a part of the Equestrian Hunt Team. I have lots of free time that I would love to dedicate to checking in on your animals or giving them a chance to stretch their legs! I would provide the best care and work with the pet owner on the specifics to what applies to their pet the best. If needed I can provide a leash for walks!

During visits, I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, whether that’s going on walks, playing with their favorite toys, or just keeping them company so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience working with dogs and cats of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m comfortable handling both high-energy dogs that need lots of activity as well as more relaxed or older dogs who prefer a slower pace. My schedule is flexible, and I do my best to accommodate your needs. I’m available for the majority of weekdays and most weekends! I have owned many animals in my life including dogs, cats, and even horses! I am not a professional trainer however I do have experience training all of my own animals basic commands and structure while also giving them plenty of love! About: I grew up in the country. We always had at least 2 dogs and 2 cats at our home. I can keep your pets safe and happy. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I plan to get another dog here around July, so until then, I have plenty of time to look after yours. I typically will let dogs out to use the restroom or just play every 2 hours. I like to use positive reinforcement, treats, and affection while looking after animals. I realy enjoy spending time with dogs.

About: I have been caring for animals for several years both personal and professional. I understand the importance of socialization, exercise/ play, and many other needs. I work three days a week and can be flexible as my schedule allows. With my availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays I am able to take time for both myself and to assist with care of your furry family members. I am able to take your pet on walks around town or if close enough on trails as time allows. Or if there is a yard available we can play at their home and stay close.

About: I have owned a dog since I was 7, along with helped local families by watching their dogs while on vacation. Along with during college, helping a breeder with her pups and personal dogs ranging from 1 day old to 12 years old. I am currently working an internship 3 days a week. I am completely free on my days off with just trips to the gym and local coffee shops. I am willing to spends time playing with dogs and going for walks on my days off due to having an open schedule. I ensure you that I am experienced in the pet sitting field and will make your feline and K- Nine as happy as possible. About: I’ve watched many dogs and two cats over the past 4 years usually over family friend vacations. I’ve worked with reactive dogs as well as two young puppies. I spoil my dogs and would be happy to treat your pets with just as much love! I am a part time college student so I have a TON of time to pet sit! As I prepare for dental school in the fall, I will also be free for summer work. I love staying with dogs in either an environment they are used to or my own depending on what the pet parent prefers! There is a fenced in dog park behind my apartment that is never occupied where I run around with dogs. If it is occupied, I would walk around the park nearby with lots to smell on the trail. I also love giving dog baths, so that could totally be included!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been taking care of family, friends, and neighbors dogs since I was 12. I love big dogs and small. I’m very active and love walking and running around with my pets. I’m a college student home for the summer taking remote summer classes so my schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available a majority of the week. I am surrounded by a large open grass yard and plenty of space in my home for inside or outdoor play. I also have a dog bed that I wash between every visit.

About: I’ve always loved farm style animals and a country girl that lives in the City. 😁 I’ve rode horses growing up and during fair time bottle calves for the sons to show at fair. We have a borgie that will be 2 February 13th. Borgie is a 1/4 border collie and 3/4 corgi. His name is Rip. We do live in McCallsburg but am in Nevada everyday. I have a part time job which makes my days Monday and Thursdays free. All three kiddos are in school all day this year. Let me know what you need and I'll see what we can get worked out! I unfortunately don’t have a fenced in yard . Will for sure take dog on walks. We do have a fenced in deck but it’s not much. We do have three young kiddos that will help your dog burn off energy.
