About: My pets are indoors AND outside because I have safe, pet friendly, separated or joined, sheltered, natural areas where we can all unwind on my seven acres. I'm a retiree who devotes all my time to my grandkids, animals and hobbies. Your pets' needs are provided for at all times whether they are here for a day, week or month as they are included in our family activities. Pets are kept separated or allowed to play together depending on their needs. I provide crates, mats, kennels and even my bed for peaceful sleeping.
About: I have nine years of pet care experience. I raised and showed Rex rabbits for 4 years. Personally I have trained and care for my own dogs. After High School I work in an Animal Hospital. My duties there included receiving the animals for appointments, prepping and assisting in surgeries, keeping accurate records, cleaning and sanitation of the facilities, I am working at the Boone Veterinary Hospital currently! About: Iv always owned pets growing up as well as in adulthood. Pets seem to sense me as being a good person and friends often ask me to care for there pet when needed because there pet enjoys being around me. I have experience wit cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, ferrets, and rabbits as well as most farm animals. I’m a stay at home mom with my last child. I have an as needed sitter on call so my availability is pretty open. I have a 20month old at home and school aged kids 10 and 7 so most of my availability however is 7-3. If I know A day or so I’m advance I can make arrangements out of that time. I would love to care for your pet. Im comfortable walking your pet, letting out if you have a yard. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
