About: I'm a walking enthusiast who spends time outside wind, rain, snow, or sunshine. I'm a past dog owner who wants to help you keep your pup healthy, active, and happy. I'm ready to get to walking or sitting your pup! I'm located in Nevada, IA, but I will travel to the surrounding area for house-sitting. I'm out walking on the daily. I'm ready and willing to add a tag-along dog friend to make my walking extra special. I will take care of your dog like my own, whether keeping your schedule for house-sitting or dropping in to let them out. Walks are by far my favorite activity when I'm with them! I am willing to house-sit, drop in, and/or walk your pup, but at this time, I am not considering caring for them in my home. If you choose to have me take care of your dog, I will do my absolute best to keep them clean and happy.

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the combination of genuine love for animals and the space I can provide for them to truly thrive. Anyone that knows me knows my absolute love for dogs of all types. Living on several acres gives dogs plenty of room to safely run, play, and explore, which keeps them happy and active during their stay. We have great indoor and outdoor room, with things like a doggy pool to stay cool in the summer and a large heated shop to run around in in the winter! I have experience caring for pets of all ages—from the extra patience and guidance needed for puppies to the gentle, attentive support required for senior dogs. I understand the importance of maintaining routines, giving medications if needed, and providing both exercise and comfort. I have personal experience with caring for dogs with special needs. Above all, I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. My motto is that the pets come first in my schedule. Saying no to a dinner invitation because my husband is out of town and the dogs need walked? I do it all the time. My day starts with a long walk for my dogs and extra playtime to ensure their energy is at a good level before I go to work. Our evenings are spent outdoors with the dogs right along with us. The weekends are full days of outdoor time and extra enrichment for the dogs in our care. Safety and trust are always my top priorities when caring for pets. In my home, dogs enjoy plenty of space to play and explore on our acres of land, all while being supervised to ensure they stay safe. I have two super-friendly dogs of my own who love having new playmates, and I can also crate your dog if that’s part of their routine or helps them feel secure. Inside, I keep a clean, comfortable environment where pets can relax and feel at home. Whether I’m hosting in my house or caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines closely, from feeding schedules to walks and medication needs. My goal is to provide peace of mind for pet parents by creating a safe, loving, and structured environment for every furry guest.

About: I love all animals and I always treat them with kindness, love and respect. I will never force attention on them if not wanted. Slow and steady and all the love if they are ready :) I work full time and am a single Mom. But I am able to fit in animal care as I have done for friends that need me. Weekday Mornings would be between 6:00-7:00AM and afternoons after 4:00 up until 9:30PM. Weekends I am typically free. I am unable to do in home care due to renting. When coming to someone’s home, I do as I am asked and make sure their pet/pets get plenty of attention and all needs met before I leave. I may do extra petting and loving if time allows :)

Caring for five cats with distinct personalities, one being kept apart from the four others, is no small task, but Isabelle handled it with professionalism, warmth, and incredible attention to detail. She visited twice a day for a full week, always punctual and thorough in her updates. When we asked about the possibility of adding an extra visit mid-week, she was completely flexible and accommodating, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. She even managed to win over Beaney, our most distrustful cat—something we doubted would be possible. Seeing her almost relaxed in the photos she sent was a highlight of our trip. About: I am an absolute dog lover and your dog will be spoiled when in my care. I have two dogs of my own who love to play and are great with all other dogs. My fenced in yard will allow your dog to play outside for as long as they want to. They can then come inside to unwind and relax. Dogs are allowed on my furniture and anywhere in the house they find comfortable. I have lots of toys and treats too! I have a fenced in back yard and two dogs of my own who love to play. Inside my home, dogs are able to roam as they please. I have room for kennels if your dog is accustomed to that for boarding stays. Dogs have 24 hour access to water.

About: I have always loved animals and caring for them. I grew up taking care of mostly dogs, but I have experience with other animals like cats, goats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I love meeting new animals and helping care for them. I am currently a student at Iowa state but am available all day Tuesdays and Thursdays and weekends. I’m available in the afternoon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I cannot provide boarding because of the pets I have at home, but I can visit pets or stay overnight with them at their homes. I’ve stayed in ankeny overnight a few times but prefer to stay in Ames due to my classes being in the morning.

About: I’ve taken care of my family’s, friends', and neighbors' cats and dogs since I was a child. I have a knack for getting even the most nervous of pets to feel comfortable around me and most of my friends consider me as their pet’s "cool aunt". I am comfortable with small and large dogs and cats, and I always strive to keep the minds of the pets I’m watching stimulated and engaged. With me, your pet will never miss out on snuggles and play time. I am also familiar with geriatric and disabled pets and I am comfortable giving oral medication. I am currently a graduate student finishing up my master’s degree in wildlife ecology, so I have a fairly flexible schedule at the moment. This means that I will have time to prioritize your pet’s care. While I cannot care for pets in my own home, I will gladly come to yours. I am comfortable preparing food, feeding, and giving oral medication to your pet. Additionally, I will gladly keep up with any ongoing training you are already doing with your pet while you are gone.

“Teagan came over and met Bella this week, our large 14 month old pup that we just rescued 3 months ago. Bella still gets anxious when we leave. We went to a wedding and Teagan came over to feed Bella. Bella was a little too nervous to eat, so Teagan played fetch with her in the backyard to get her more comfortable, then she proceeded to eat her whole dinner. Teagan communicated with us when she was there which reassured us. She did a great job and we will be hiring her again!”

Belle (2 yo, mixed breed) is a medium-sized rescue dog from the island of St. Croix and Atari (3 yo, Cavachon mixed breed) was born on a farm and has been spoiled since birth! :) I also volunteer with Ruff Start USVI, the rescue service that rescued my dog Belle! I spend time with the rescue puppies, taking care of them, playing with them, etc. My family also often foster dogs from Ruff Start, Belle was a foster dog before we decided to adopt her! About: I have had multiple dogs since I was 6 and taken care of all of them, neighbors' and families' animals actively for the last 4ish years! I would love to add a basic groom for an extra $10 added to any service you have scheduled. I have my own dog that I trained since he was a puppy, and he is now almost two. I also take care of a family's dog on a daily basis. I do not have a fenced-in yard, but I have a huge yard with long leashes. I also love to take our dog to the dog park.
