“Kelley was nothing short of amazing! She handled everything perfectly and was consistent and on time. It was a great feeling to know that my fur babies were being well taken care of. If you want someone that pays attention, is on time and great with animals.. call Kelley!”

“Belle was great! I couldn't be happier with the experience. She was great at responding to my messages and sent me pics of my cat, which was a big relief. I would contact her again for future travels. Highly recommended!”

About: I have experienced growing up with cats, dogs and horses then, as an adult, with my own rescues. I have worked in a veterinary clinic. I have had the pleasure to own senior and special needs babies. I love to find each pet’s personality and make them happy. I have a flexible full time job. I would primarily be looking to care for animals before work, after work and if needed I could use my lunch hour to make additional trips. I take each animal personality into account. I love it when they are excited to see me. I treat them as if they are my own. Fresh water, good food, exercise and love.
“Maddie did such an amazing job checking in on our problem kitties! She made sure to give us a photo update of all of them everyday and checked that they were actively using the litter boxes. Fantastic job! She should be used by anyone and everyone! Her being a vet-tech is just an added bonus :)”

About: I love all animals and I always treat them with kindness, love and respect. I will never force attention on them if not wanted. Slow and steady and all the love if they are ready :) I work full time and am a single Mom. But I am able to fit in animal care as I have done for friends that need me. Weekday Mornings would be between 6:00-7:00AM and afternoons after 4:00 up until 9:30PM. Weekends I am typically free. I am unable to do in home care due to renting. When coming to someone’s home, I do as I am asked and make sure their pet/pets get plenty of attention and all needs met before I leave. I may do extra petting and loving if time allows :)
About: I have had multiple dogs since I was 6 and taken care of all of them, neighbors' and families' animals actively for the last 4ish years! I would love to add a basic groom for an extra $10 added to any service you have scheduled. I have my own dog that I trained since he was a puppy, and he is now almost two. I also take care of a family's dog on a daily basis. I do not have a fenced-in yard, but I have a huge yard with long leashes. I also love to take our dog to the dog park. If you also have a pass, I would love that. My dog is mild to high energy and loves other dogs!
“Erin was amazing! She was super easy to communicate with, followed all our rules, and took such great care of Mochi. She sent tons of updates and pictures, which made us feel so at ease while we were away. The best part was that she spent lots of time hanging out with him, Mochi absolutely loved it! He can be a little shy with new people, but he warmed up to Erin right away and cuddled on her lap. We couldn't be happier. 10/10 will definitely book again!”

“Alexandra was awesome! I had never used Rover before, and she was great to have as my first visitor. She was very flexible and easy to work with, and was even able to check in on my cat with just a few days notice. Provided great updates after each visit and was very patient with my cat; coaxed her out from her hiding spot under my bed and was able to give her some attention. Will definitely be seeing if she can help me the next time I go out of town!”

“Alex took such great care of my little boy! They went for a nice long walk which helped wear off some of his energy while I was at work. I would definitely ask Alex to take care of my pup again!”

About: About Me Hi! I’m a stay-at-home dog mom with a naturally flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of love, time, and attention. Animals have always been a huge part of my life — I’ve cared for dogs since I was young, and over the years I’ve worked with all sizes, ages, and personalities, from tiny puppies to sweet seniors. I’ve fostered dogs, trained my own, and grew up watching experienced trainers work with hunting dogs. Because of that background, I’m confident and patient with pets who are reactive, anxious, or need a little extra understanding. Safety, compassion, and communication are always my top priorities. My Experience Caring for dogs since childhood Foster experience Training experience with my own dog Comfortable with reactive, fearful, or high-energy dogs Experienced with different routines, needs, and personalities Reliable, gentle, and calm in stressful situations My Current Availability I I currently am home most mornings and late afternoons as I had to adjust my schedule. which keeps my schedule flexible day-to-day. Because of that, I’m able to work around most timing needs — early mornings Our best on the weekends. Late afternoons, evenings, and overnight care when needed. If anything in my life changes (like school), I keep my availability updated so you always know exactly when I’m open to help. What Your Pet Gets With Me Plenty of affection and one-on-one attention Slow introductions and a calm approach for nervous or reactive dogs Safe walks, enrichment time, and play A stable, comforting presence while you’re away Regular updates, photos, and communication Your pet will be treated like part of my family — because to me, they truly are. I have plenty of time for walks and Drop in visits. I would love to play with your pups and spend quality time with them. I will treat your home with the utmost care and your pet with affection. You'll receive consistent updates and photos for complete peace of mind".
“Teagan came over and met Bella this week, our large 14 month old pup that we just rescued 3 months ago. Bella still gets anxious when we leave. We went to a wedding and Teagan came over to feed Bella. Bella was a little too nervous to eat, so Teagan played fetch with her in the backyard to get her more comfortable, then she proceeded to eat her whole dinner. Teagan communicated with us when she was there which reassured us. She did a great job and we will be hiring her again!”

“Erin was so nice and very flexible when it came to taking care of my cats. She sent me a bunch of photos as well! I would definitely rebook if I ever needed them taken care of again!”

About: I have always loved animals and caring for them. I grew up taking care of mostly dogs, but I have experience with other animals like cats, goats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I love meeting new animals and helping care for them. I am currently a student at Iowa state but am available all day Tuesdays and Thursdays and weekends. I’m available in the afternoon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I cannot provide boarding because of the pets I have at home, but I can visit pets or stay overnight with them at their homes. I’ve stayed in ankeny overnight a few times but prefer to stay in Ames due to my classes being in the morning.
“I enjoyed having Danielle care for Trixie, our cat, during our travels. She communicated very well about Trixie's behavior and care. She tried different solutions for a few problem situations, but overall she did a really great job with Trixie. I would easily sign her up to do more pet care for Trixie. She came in every other day to provide brushing, food service, litter cleaning, etc.”

About: I’ve taken care of my family’s, friends', and neighbors' cats and dogs since I was a child. I have a knack for getting even the most nervous of pets to feel comfortable around me and most of my friends consider me as their pet’s "cool aunt". I am comfortable with small and large dogs and cats, and I always strive to keep the minds of the pets I’m watching stimulated and engaged. With me, your pet will never miss out on snuggles and play time. I am also familiar with geriatric and disabled pets and I am comfortable giving oral medication. I am currently a graduate student finishing up my master’s degree in wildlife ecology, so I have a fairly flexible schedule at the moment. This means that I will have time to prioritize your pet’s care. While I cannot care for pets in my own home, I will gladly come to yours. I am comfortable preparing food, feeding, and giving oral medication to your pet. Additionally, I will gladly keep up with any ongoing training you are already doing with your pet while you are gone.
