About: I have nine years of pet care experience. I raised and showed Rex rabbits for 4 years. Personally I have trained and care for my own dogs. After High School I work in an Animal Hospital. My duties there included receiving the animals for appointments, prepping and assisting in surgeries, keeping accurate records, cleaning and sanitation of the facilities. I am available to care for pets full time as I am looking to make a career out of caring for pets as I pursue a position as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician. About: I’ve had pets my entire life. I’ve had cats, dogs, and small animals like guinea pigs and mice. I competed in 4H with horses and I’ve also worked on horse ranches. I’m a certified dog groomer and even went to vet tech school for a semester. I have worked at 2 different vet clinics. I’m always looking to advance in my career with animals I’m currently a full time dog groomer in Ames! My shifts vary but I’m always off work by 6 at the very latest. I have Tuesdays and Sundays completely open usually. Mondays and Thursdays I start work very early but the other days of the week I can stop in very early in the morning if needed for potty breaks. I can just walk them, drop in to visit, or stay for part of a day. I’m even willing to take your pets places in my car if that’s wanted. I’m very experienced with animals and their needs are very important to me.

About: Animals have always had a huge role in my life. Theres never been a time I have been without them. Whether it be cats, dogs, or reptiles, I am excited to provide the utmost care to your furry or scaly friends! I am a student with an extremely flexible schedule. I am available for overnight care, mid-day and afternoon walks, and any time on weekends! In the past I have lived with two Great Danes, a senior Maltese, and a Miniature Schnauzer, so I am ready to meet any dogs energy level! I ensure daily walks, plenty of play, and keep a close eye on their behavior to make sure they remain happy and healthy in my care. I currently have two cats who recieve daily play, cuddles, and excercise on their excercise wheel.

I have experience with all different animals from being a dog trainer, working in vet clinics to working with large farm animals. I’m currently looking for early morning opportunities and evening opportunities. I’m also open to overnight stays as needed. I can be flexible in those early and evening hours! About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have owned a dog since I was 7. Over the years, I’ve also helped local families care for their dogs while they were traveling, and during college I had the opportunity to help a breeder care for puppies as well as their adult dogs. These experiences gave me the opportunity to work with dogs of different ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also have hands-on experience working in a veterinary clinic, and I’m currently a second-year veterinary student. Between my personal experience with pets and my veterinary training, I’m comfortable providing attentive, responsible care and following individual instructions for each pet. I’m currently in veterinary school, so my schedule is busiest during the weekdays, but I have more flexibility on weekends for house sitting and longer stays. I’m also available for drop-in visits and walks during the week when my class schedule allows. I’m very intentional about keeping my Rover calendar updated so families know when I’m available. I enjoy spending my free time outside, walking, and being around animals, so pet care fits naturally into my routine! I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible while their owner is away. I’m happy to follow specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, and anything else your pet needs. My experience working in a veterinary clinic has also taught me to pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and overall well-being. When caring for pets in their home, I’m respectful of their space and their family’s home and make sure everything is secure before I leave.
