About: I have nine years of pet care experience. I raised and showed Rex rabbits for 4 years. Personally I have trained and care for my own dogs. After High School I work in an Animal Hospital. My duties there included receiving the animals for appointments, prepping and assisting in surgeries, keeping accurate records, cleaning and sanitation of the facilities. About: I’ve had pets my entire life. I’ve had cats, dogs, and small animals like guinea pigs and mice. I competed in 4H with horses and I’ve also worked on horse ranches. I’m a certified dog groomer and even went to vet tech school for a semester. I have worked at 2 different vet clinics. I’m always looking to advance in my career with animals I’m currently a full time dog groomer in Ames! My shifts vary but I’m always off work by 6 at the very latest. I have Tuesdays and Sundays completely open usually. Mondays and Thursdays I start work very early but the other days of the week I can stop in very early in the morning if needed for potty breaks. I can just walk them, drop in to visit, or stay for part of a day. I’m even willing to take your pets places in my car if that’s wanted. I’m very experienced with animals and their needs are very important to me.

About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.

About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from local rescues. I recently earned a bachelors degree in animal science and currently attend veterinary school at ISU. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! Pet care is built into my schedule and comes as second nature to me now after being immersed in it for so long. On average, a minimum of 3-5 hours of my day are dedicated to my animals. I enjoy taking my dog on multiple walks a day, of varying lengths, to ensure he has enough mental stimulation and exercise to meet his needs. Training is also a constant in my household, whether that be scheduled training sessions, or simply consistent work throughout daily tasks. I find it important to build a bond with my animals as well as those I meet, and training helps strengthen that bond. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) and training exercises are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied and stimulated. I take pride in keeping my environment and my animals’ clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food and water bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.

I work part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets, including overnight care! I am available during the week and on weekends. About: I have taken care of my dog since he was a puppy and my brothers do for about 4 years. I also work at a doggy day care and am around all sorts of dogs and understand body language. I work mostly on the weekends. I am most available to spend the most time with your pet during the week. I have school but no more than 4 hours a day. About: Iv always owned pets growing up as well as in adulthood. Pets seem to sense me as being a good person and friends often ask me to care for there pet when needed because there pet enjoys being around me. I have experience wit cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, ferrets, and rabbits as well as most farm animals. I’m a stay at home mom with my last child. I have an as needed sitter on call so my availability is pretty open. I have a 20month old at home and school aged kids 10 and 7 so most of my availability however is 7-3. If I know A day or so I’m advance I can make arrangements out of that time. I would love to care for your pet. Im comfortable walking your pet, letting out if you have a yard. Cleaning up messes and playing with your pet. I will clean litter box and feed as well.

About: My friends, family and neighbors have come to me when they need someone to look after their pets. I’ve pet sit for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, fish and reptiles. During the week, I have veterinary school with breaks between classes. I was a vet assistant for 5 years so I gained plenty of experience with a variety of animals. Animal care is one of my passions so walking and sitting in my free time is something I enjoy! I’m am a veterinary student during the week so I’m looking to help walk dogs or pet sit on the weekends and days I get off. I have breaks between classes that I can utilize as well I live in an apartment with lots of trails and parks nearby. I hope to get them outside and walking especially during nice days.
