“Kylee was excellent! She was willing to spot over before the scheduled sitting to meet the pets and learn their routines. She sent us pictures and updates on our pets, which ensured us of their wellbeing. I can't recommened Kylee enough!”

“We are beyond grateful for Olivia! She took such amazing care of our cat, Mochi, and truly went above and beyond. Her communication was wonderful, she sent frequent photo updates that made us smile every time, and it was so reassuring to see how happy and relaxed Mochi looked with her. When a snowstorm hit, Olivia even stayed overnight to make sure he was safe and could be fed! We felt completely at ease on our trip knowing Mochi was in such loving, capable hands. Olivia is the best, and we cannot recommend her enough, 10/10! We will absolutely be booking with her again :)”

About: By working at a professional dog boarding facility, I have the training and knowledge to care for 3lb pups to 120lb full-grown adults. This includes bathing, nail trimming, safe administration of medication, walking, de-escalation, and mild training. When it comes to cats, I have lived with them my entire life, from all claws to no claws, and kittens to mothers, I have a lifetime of experience caring for calm to feisty felines. I am currently enrolled in a class through DMACC and I work part time at a job. I am home mornings, evenings, and mid-day. I also have a roommate who is just as experienced as I am to help with around-the-clock care! I do live in an apartment so I am only willing to board cats, but I am happy to travel to you to take care of your companions in a familiar environment.
About: I have had multiple dogs since I was 6 and taken care of all of them, neighbors' and families' animals actively for the last 4ish years! I would love to add a basic groom for an extra $10 added to any service you have scheduled. I have my own dog that I trained since he was a puppy, and he is now almost two. I also take care of a family's dog on a daily basis. I do not have a fenced-in yard, but I have a huge yard with long leashes. I also love to take our dog to the dog park. If you also have a pass, I would love that. My dog is mild to high energy and loves other dogs!
About: I have been a dog walker at the ARL for 3 years. I have also taken care of many teachers, friends, and neighbors pets. As well as taken care of my school pets! I have had 2 dogs, 4 cats, 5 guinea pigs, and many other pets! I work at a veterinary clinic and have kennel shifts a few times throughout the week in the morning and evening. I am also a college student so I have classes. Aside from that I am available and fully willing to work around whatever I need ! I am a deep lover of animals. I have loved animals all my life, and I decided to pursue this love by doing all kinds of volunteer work. I have worked at the ARL as a volunteer for 3 years. I am going into college for animal ecology, and eventually going into vet school to study proper care for animals. I do whatever I can to make my dogs, cats, and other pets at my house feel as loved as possible as well as safe. I hope to make your pet feel the same way.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child and been involved in their care. Currently have two dogs at home with my parents, but don’t commitment to have a pet of my own so I want to help you with yours! I am currently a student and working part time, but still have quite a bit of free time to help out! I’m pretty flexible so feel free to reach out for specifics and I will do my best to accommodate your needs! I live in an apartment and can easily take your dog on long walks a few times a day! If at your place I can crate your dog, let them out for a potty break, or take them for walks! I’m pretty flexible!
“Carson was available on short notice when another sitter fell through. She took excellent care of my 2 dogs and 1 cat while I was gone for a week. She sent regular updates and photos and even noticed a lump in my kitty, and let me know about it. I came home to a very clean house and happy pets. Thanks Carson!! I would definitely book her again.”

“Gabriel made me feel super confident in leaving for a weekend away. He made sure that he understood what my dog needed and that Newton was comfortable with him before he watched him for a weekend. I definitely recommend Gabriel if you need someone to watch your pet.”

“Treva is one of the best dog/house sitters we’ve had and we have used multiple Rover sitters in the past. We have an elderly dog with mobility issues that I was concerned about and she kept me posted and sent multiple pictures frequently which I requested. She spent the most time with our dogs than any other sitters we’ve had. She also went above and beyond with our house. The only downside is one of my dogs won’t even look at me she’s so mad I’m not Treva 🤣! Highly, highly recommend. We will definitely be using her again! Thank you from Kim, Bart, Ebony, Yoda and especially Bree ❤️!”
About: I grew up on a farm, so taking care of animals was a part of my daily routine. I have had pets my whole life, including: cats, dogs, and bunnies! My friends and family have trusted me to take care their pets when they’re away from home. I help my great aunt and uncle with their collie puppies every year too! I currently work seasonally at a co-op outside of Ames, so after harvest (around halloween), my availability is pretty flexible! Starting January I will be a full time student at Iowa State, but I will keep my availability updated! I currently live in an apartment, so I won’t be able to house any pets. I will be able to keep your pets company when you’re away or even check on them throughout the day.

About: Weh di goh on? I’ve fed, ran with and taken care of dogs ranging from Pitbull to Pomeranian. I’ve stayed up all night with a sick dog and I’ve ran and played long and hard enough to make a dog want a power nap. I was the co-owner of a Pitbull-Mastiff mix, while living with two other roommates in a two bedroom apartment...we all survived (but A LOT of furniture was replaced in the process). You don’t need me, but your dog will probably be at their happiest by my side with the wind flowing in their whiskers. I love being outside. Do you have an high energy dog? I’m your guy. Want him or her to be loved, cuddled and properly cared for? I’m your guy. I look forward to meeting you and your little and/or big one✌🏾
“Paul was amazing! He was quick to respond and sent several photos/updates. With it being 4th of July weekend, we were happy that Paul was willing to spend the night and ease the pups anxiety with the loud noises. Thank you Paul for watching our pups on short notice, especially on a holiday weekend!”

Jennifer stayed with our dog at our home while we were away for a few days at our son's wedding. She sent us photos and notes each day. Jennifer took great care of her and took her on long walks each day. She left our home just was it was when she got there. We would 100% recommend Jennifer to watch your dog.
