She didn’t experience any issues with our elderly, special needs dog who requires medication and a Bailey chair to eat in twice a day, who also can be dog reactive on walks. Nor with our senior cat who requires medication daily as well. Our other senior cat who is very skittish even came out to say hi, which I think shows a lot about Angie’s character. We loved the occasional check ins and photos of our pets we received from Angie. On top of all of that, we came home to a clean house. After being gone 10 days. With 3 shedding pets in the house! About: I’m Ivy! I am a dog and cat lover who would be honored to spend time with your fur babies. Whether you’re looking for a mid day walk or a multi day pet/house sit while you enjoy your vacation, I’m your girl. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I have experience caring for dogs as small as 20lbs and as big as 130lbs. Ages from puppy to senior are okay. High energy dogs who need a run are a-okay too. Something that sets me apart is I’m an adult with a fully remote job so my time with your babies will not be interrupted by a 9-5. My experience with farm animals is limited, but my family has horses. I’m comfortable with water checks and grain / hay feeding, I work remotely full time so I can be present and on site all day. I do train in the evening a few days a week and would appreciate being able to swing by my house for a quick visit in the middle of the day. I’m happy to work with you on scheduling. I would care for your pets in your home in the manner you request. I leave each home better than I found it and will ensure your pets’ are treated like my own.
About: For several years, I’ve cared for friends dog while they are away and needing someone to provide care, either extended in home stays or just popping in. I had a dog when I was growing up, and I loved being able to take her on walks and little adventures, now I just have cats. I enjoy walking dogs and taking them to the park for some enrichment and exercise! Providing some time during the day to keep your pet company is something I love to do. As a pet owner, when I'm away for longer than normal, it always makes me feel better knowing my pets have someone to check in on them, so I love to do that for others when I can! I currently have a very flexible schedule, so I am available for daytime care during the work day, as well as last minute care needs! I am happy to take dogs on walks, or to the dog park, and provide engaging play and attention. For cats, I'm happy to follow their cues, hanging out nearby, providing opportunities to play, and come get some affection if they want. I pay close attention to animals and their needs, responding quickly to any cues they are giving me about what they may want or need. If a dog seems stressed, we will head back home and get back to a comfortable space. With cats, I always let them set the pace and get comfortable.
About: I have nine years of pet care experience. I raised and showed Rex rabbits for 4 years. Personally I have trained and care for my own dogs. After High School I work in an Animal Hospital. My duties there included receiving the animals for appointments, prepping and assisting in surgeries, keeping accurate records, cleaning and sanitation of the facilities. I am available to care for pets full time as I am looking to make a career out of caring for pets as I pursue a position as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician. About: Hi, welcome! My name is Grace and I would be honored to care for your beloved pet while you are away! I’ve had plenty of experience with dogs, cats, and bunnies. Most notably, I’ve been a consistent caretaker for two energetic black labs for the past 8 years. I’ve also cared for fish, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs, and a bearded dragon. If you think I’d be a good fit for your furry (or scaly!) family please reach out! I do not currently have any commitments! I’m new to the area and excited to meet some fur friends here. My new job will start September 14, 2026, but until then I’m wide open! Once I start my position, I’ll be working 8 hour days in Urbandale (if you’re close to that area I am more than willing to spend my lunch breaks with your pet). Once I’m back from work for the day I am ready to play! Coming home to an animal friend is one of the best feelings, and I want to give your pet all the love possible! About: I have been taking care of dogs of all sizes and cats for 5 years now. I have worked with dogs that have many triggers and also have experience with puppies. I am currently a student at Iowa State. I don’t have too many classes so my schedule is pretty open! I will have plenty of time to play with and hangout with your pups! I am able to watch your pets in my home. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I will always take your pets out on a leash. My roommate does have a dog, but he stays in her room during the day when she is not home. If you need me to stay with your pets, I will respect all of your rules for your pets and your house.
