About: While I have never owned my own cat (that will change in the new future), I have lived with cats for the past three years. I was fortunate enough that my college roommate had a cat, who became like my own. Over the three years of living with him, I cared for him on multiple occasions where his mom was out of town, so I was able to gain experience with all the aspects of taking care of a cat in their home. I have also been a veterinary assistant for the last 4 years, where I have learned how to make cat patients feel comfortable in high stress environments. My goal with all cats is to read their cues, and make them feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I love all types of pets. I’m very affectionate, attentive to details, responsible, high energy. Pets make me feel less anxious and I love them in my lap I am available any after before 8 am and after 4 pm for a walk or feed the pets. All day during the weekends to watch them. Any day during the week for overnight care I take them everyday once a day and let them go outside to pee and poo because I have a danced yard. I feed my dog twice a day, and give a bath every 2 weeks. I these her every other day. Control fleas and worm every month, and take her for nail trim every 3 weeks.

About: I’ve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. In my mid 20s I trained as a vet tech, prepping animals for surgery, giving vaccinations, nail trims, etc. Until the ISU Wildlife Clinic closed, I volunteered there, learning more care for wild native animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, I can’t imagine life without animals. I currently have a senior border collie named Lola, she has arthritis so sometimes she needs help getting around and I’m always willing to help my girl. I also have a senior cat. Currently I’m a doordash/grub hub driver, so I literally am free 24/7 to care for your pets! I will prioritize Rover over delivery, so I can work with any schedule you need. I’m available for repeat needs (several walks a week, drop ins, etc). I live in a duplex with a yard. With my own cats, I feed them twice per day and give them hours of cuddle time. My experience at animal shelters has given me a lot of experience approaching cats with different personality types.
About: I’ve taken care of family dogs since I was a kid and have 2 dogs of my own that I treat like my own children. I am a working professional in athletic development of athletes and love to take care of pets in need in the time that I am not coaching my athletes. My wife and I treat our dogs like children. We have a great fenced in back yard for them and take them on 2-3 45 minute walks per day :)

About: I have worked at a vet clinic for 6 years and have experience with many breeds of cats and dogs. I have been trained in the nutrition and medication of pets. I am currently a full time veterinary student at Iowa State University. I typically am in school from 9-3 with a few breaks during that time. I will take your fur baby out as often as needed. I am confident in medicating and monitoring sick or geriatric dogs/cats. I am also able to exercise them as much as they may need!

“Amanda spoiled our dog all weekend! Played catch and cuddled and let him take a nap in her lap (he's almost 100 lbs so that was above and beyond the call of duty)! Another plus is there were 4-5 large dogs for Osborne to play with in Amanda's fenced in backyard so he came home happily exhausted. Amanda was extremely flexible in drop off/pick up times which was greatly appreciated as we were heading out of town for the weekend. She also carefully monitored his food so he only ate his food and didn't sneak other dog food and get an upset stomach. Highly recommend Amanda!”
