“My cat, Avocado, got so much love at Angela's house! I really appreciate that Angela has a good system for keeping cats separate from the small dogs if that's what you want for your cat. Avocado stayed in a lovely furnished basement (with windows) during the day and spent the night up in the bedrooms with the family, so she had her own safe space while still getting plenty of human interaction. It was so fun to get pictures of Avocado cuddling with them and making herself at home. I boarded her there for almost two weeks and she was in good health and great spirits when I picked her up. I immediately rebooked to board her at Angela's again during my next trip!”

About: I love all types of pets. I’m very affectionate, attentive to details, responsible, high energy. Pets make me feel less anxious and I love them in my lap I am available any after before 8 am and after 4 pm for a walk or feed the pets. All day during the weekends to watch them. Any day during the week for overnight care I take them everyday once a day and let them go outside to pee and poo because I have a danced yard. I feed my dog twice a day, and give a bath every 2 weeks. I these her every other day. Control fleas and worm every month, and take her for nail trim every 3 weeks.
About: I’ve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. In my mid 20s I trained as a vet tech, prepping animals for surgery, giving vaccinations, nail trims, etc. Until the ISU Wildlife Clinic closed, I volunteered there, learning more care for wild native animals. About: I am a homeschool mom. I have had several dogs over the last 26 years from blue heelers, labradors, a lab/dane mix and most recently an Australian Shepherd. I've house-broken and crate trained all my puppies and we also adopted an adult rescue dog and acclimated him to family life. I've taken different obedience courses over the years and most recently am working on Rally Obedience with my aussie. My family, which includes my husband and two teenage daughters love dogs of all sizes and ages. “I think Missy has got to be the best sitter my dog Bella has ever had. Not only did Missy welcome the challenge of a spicy chihuahua but she mastered it. By the end she let her hold her! And if any of you are owners of little anxious dogs you know this is a big deal!! Missy also did a great job communicating with us and sending tons of photos which we appreciated.
