About: I have owned a dog since I was 7, along with helped local families by watching their dogs while on vacation. Along with during college, helping a breeder with her pups and personal dogs ranging from 1 day old to 12 years old. I am currently working an internship 3 days a week. I am completely free on my days off with just trips to the gym and local coffee shops. I am willing to spends time playing with dogs and going for walks on my days off due to having an open schedule. I am comfortable coming to other houses to make sure their dogs stay less stressed and feel for comfortable in their surroundings. I take them for walks in the neighborhood on leashes.

About: I helped take care of my family’s two senior cats. I assisted in giving them medications, cleaning their ears, and grooming their matted fur. I have cat and dog sat for friends and family (both young and old animals). I ensure they have plenty of food and water, clean litter boxes, go on walks, and spend time with them playing/cuddling. I am back from college for the summer and have plenty of free time on my hands! I am free to dog or cat sit until the end of August. I plan to be attentive to your animals and enthusiastic to spend time with them. I have no specific requirements but would love to chat more after booking the appointment.

About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from local rescues. I recently earned a bachelors degree in animal science and currently attend veterinary school at ISU. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! Pet care is built into my schedule and comes as second nature to me now after being immersed in it for so long. On average, a minimum of 3-5 hours of my day are dedicated to my animals. I enjoy taking my dog on multiple walks a day, of varying lengths, to ensure he has enough mental stimulation and exercise to meet his needs. Training is also a constant in my household, whether that be scheduled training sessions, or simply consistent work throughout daily tasks. I find it important to build a bond with my animals as well as those I meet, and training helps strengthen that bond. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) and training exercises are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied and stimulated. I take pride in keeping my environment and my animals’ clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food and water bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.

About: Hello! I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life even though I’ve never had any of my own. This includes looking after and taking care of family members’ pups while growing up. Other than family, I’ve watched the same dog on multiple occasions, including two separate 3-week stays where I was responsible for feeding, walking, playing, and keeping him company. One of those stays was in my own space, so I’m comfortable managing a dog’s needs independently and keeping up with their routine. I don’t currently have pets of my own, but I’m very attentive, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I offer drop-in visits, walks, and in-home sitting, and I’ll send updates and cute photos of your pup so you feel at ease while you’re away. I work from 12–8 M-F, so I’m available in the mornings and later in the evening for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I can also do overnight house sitting depending on the situation. On weekends I have more flexibility and can spend more time with pets or do multiple visits throughout the day. I’m pretty consistent with my schedule, so it’s easy for me to plan around a pet’s routine and make sure they’re taken care of. I know every dog is a little different, so I try to stick as close as possible to whatever routine they’re used to. Whether that’s specific feeding times, walk schedules, or just how they like to hang out, I’ll follow what you leave for me. I’m pretty mindful in general, so I’m always making sure doors are locked, they’re not getting into anything they shouldn’t, and they’re safe and comfortable the whole time. I’ll keep you updated while you’re gone so you don’t have to worry, and I’ll treat your home and your pet with respect. My goal is for you to come back to a happy pet and everything exactly how you left it.

About: I have taken care of my dog since he was a puppy and my brothers do for about 4 years. I also work at a doggy day care and am around all sorts of dogs and understand body language. I work mostly on the weekends. I am most available to spend the most time with your pet during the week. I have school but no more than 4 hours a day. I provide attentive and reliable pet care either in my home or in the client’s home, depending on their preference. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for by giving them plenty of attention and maintaining a clean environment. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, keep everything tidy, and ensure the pet experiences minimal disruption to their normal routine. About: I grew up taking care of dogs on our family farm. I was responsible for feeding, watering, cleaning, and spending time with them each day. I also grew up with a cat in the home. I love animals and enjoy taking dogs on walks. Besides my school schedule, I am very free. I have my own car and I live on campus. I am available in morning and evening and in between classes. About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.

About: Animals hold a special place in my soul that I can't describe. Each pet brings me joy to take care of. I've had a few pets over the years; right now a 7 year old Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu named Snoopy. I've also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for the past two years. I started college as an Art Education major, but quickly changed to Animal Science. My goal is to work as an animal caretaker at the Omaha Zoo. I'm taking 12 credits at Iowa State, so I am busy but my schedule is flexible. I am pretty available to stop in between classes and in the mornings/evenings. Weekends are often free, but sometimes I go visit my family nearby. I have an apartment so I can't take pets to my place. I am available for check-ins and walks obviously. Throughout high school and these past two years, I've been trusted to care for pets in neighbors and strangers homes, and at a dog boarding and daycare facility in Des Moines.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been taking care of family, friends, and neighbors dogs since I was 12. I love big dogs and small. I’m very active and love walking and running around with my pets. I’m a college student home for the summer taking remote summer classes so my schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available a majority of the week. I am surrounded by a large open grass yard and plenty of space in my home for inside or outdoor play. I also have a dog bed that I wash between every visit.

About: Iv always owned pets growing up as well as in adulthood. Pets seem to sense me as being a good person and friends often ask me to care for there pet when needed because there pet enjoys being around me. I have experience wit cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, ferrets, and rabbits as well as most farm animals. I’m a stay at home mom with my last child. I have an as needed sitter on call so my availability is pretty open. I have a 20month old at home and school aged kids 10 and 7 so most of my availability however is 7-3. If I know A day or so I’m advance I can make arrangements out of that time. I would love to care for your pet. Im comfortable walking your pet, letting out if you have a yard. Cleaning up messes and playing with your pet. I will clean litter box and feed as well.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I am accustomed to the good, bad, and everything in between when it comes to owning a pet. Some of my dogs in the past have had medical issues of varying sorts, so I am no stranger to strict/detailed feeding. I am also used to walking dogs daily regardless of rain, snow, or sunshine. I'm currently a graduate student so my schedule is a bit random. I am most available in the early mornings or evenings. I'm always in need of a study break though and would be as flexible as possible. My living situation doesn't allow for me to keep your pet with me. However, I'm happy to stop by and either check on your pet or give them a walk!
