About: I helped take care of my family’s two senior cats. I assisted in giving them medications, cleaning their ears, and grooming their matted fur. I have cat and dog sat for friends and family (both young and old animals). I ensure they have plenty of food and water, clean litter boxes, go on walks, and spend time with them playing/cuddling. I am back from college for the summer and have plenty of free time on my hands! I am free to dog or cat sit until the end of August. I plan to be attentive to your animals and enthusiastic to spend time with them. I have no specific requirements but would love to chat more after booking the appointment.

About: I grew up taking care of dogs on our family farm. I was responsible for feeding, watering, cleaning, and spending time with them each day. I also grew up with a cat in the home. I love animals and enjoy taking dogs on walks. Besides my school schedule, I am very free. I have my own car and I live on campus. I am available in morning and evening and in between classes. I can fulfill any need that you may have for caring for your animal in your home. I live in a dorm on campus, which is not animal friendly:)

About: Animals hold a special place in my soul that I can't describe. Each pet brings me joy to take care of. I've had a few pets over the years; right now a 7 year old Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu named Snoopy. I've also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for the past two years. I started college as an Art Education major, but quickly changed to Animal Science. My goal is to work as an animal caretaker at the Omaha Zoo. I'm taking 12 credits at Iowa State, so I am busy but my schedule is flexible. I am pretty available to stop in between classes and in the mornings/evenings. Weekends are often free, but sometimes I go visit my family nearby. I have an apartment so I can't take pets to my place. I am available for check-ins and walks obviously. Throughout high school and these past two years, I've been trusted to care for pets in neighbors and strangers homes, and at a dog boarding and daycare facility in Des Moines.

About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from local rescues. I recently earned a bachelors degree in animal science and currently attend veterinary school at ISU. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! Pet care is built into my schedule and comes as second nature to me now after being immersed in it for so long. On average, a minimum of 3-5 hours of my day are dedicated to my animals. I enjoy taking my dog on multiple walks a day, of varying lengths, to ensure he has enough mental stimulation and exercise to meet his needs. Training is also a constant in my household, whether that be scheduled training sessions, or simply consistent work throughout daily tasks. I find it important to build a bond with my animals as well as those I meet, and training helps strengthen that bond. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) and training exercises are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied and stimulated. I take pride in keeping my environment and my animals’ clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food and water bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.

About: I have taken care of my dog since he was a puppy and my brothers do for about 4 years. I also work at a doggy day care and am around all sorts of dogs and understand body language. I work mostly on the weekends. I am most available to spend the most time with your pet during the week. I have school but no more than 4 hours a day. I provide attentive and reliable pet care either in my home or in the client’s home, depending on their preference. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for by giving them plenty of attention and maintaining a clean environment. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, keep everything tidy, and ensure the pet experiences minimal disruption to their normal routine. I am also comfortable administering medications if needed and monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or health. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner.

About: I've cared for my own and others' sport and show dogs, as well as family pets. I've raised puppies and cared for seniors. I've managed dogs in packs or individually. I've also been grooming part time for 5 years. I have a full time job working Monday through Friday. I have large crates for dogs during work hours and a big fenced yard for playtime. I have a fenced yard and two whippets. I generally feed twice a day and crate when I'm not home during the work week. My dogs play in the yard and I take them for walks to keep them active. We occasionally travel for lure coursing and dog shows.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for just over 10 years. I’ve done house sitting, drop ins, and boarding for neighbors and friends. I have helped to train puppies, and taken care of senior dogs. I’ve also been in charge of bathing dogs, cats, and even horses! Currently I am working part-time, I am free early in the morning as well as after 3:00pm. I can house sit or board on the weekends! I have a big yard to play in! I also have a rambunctious 2 year old puppy who loves making new friends. I can easily crate your dog if needed. They will get lots of play and rest time. (Along with snuggles!)

About: My friends, family and neighbors have come to me when they need someone to look after their pets. I’ve pet sit for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, fish and reptiles. During the week, I have veterinary school with breaks between classes. I was a vet assistant for 5 years so I gained plenty of experience with a variety of animals. Animal care is one of my passions so walking and sitting in my free time is something I enjoy! I’m am a veterinary student during the week so I’m looking to help walk dogs or pet sit on the weekends and days I get off. I have breaks between classes that I can utilize as well I live in an apartment with lots of trails and parks nearby. I hope to get them outside and walking especially during nice days. About: I have spent years taken care of animals in both a professional setting and with my own pups at home. I have worked as a kennel assistant and as a veterinary assistant for many years, providing care for animals of all ages and sizes during their times of need. Back home in New York I have two dogs, 10 and 3, who I love spending time with and miss dearly when I am away. My professional animal experience has allowed me to read animals cues, and get to know each pets unique personality. So weather your per loves playing and long walks, or hanging out on the couch, I will make sure they feel safe and comfortable with me. If your animals need any extra care or time warming up, I am experienced in working with anxious pets, administering medications, or caring for multiple pets at the same time. I am currently a veterinary student at Iowa State University, where my schedule is fairly predictable from week to week. I am typically at school from 9-3, and am available for drop ins over my lunch hour (12-1). I am a early bird so I can walk or drop in on pets before class in the mornings, and with all the studying I do I am available for late nights as well. My weekends are open aside from studying, and during these weekends I love spending time outside. Your pets comfort is my top priority, and I think maintaining a routine is the best thing for pets when their owners are away. When caring for pets in your home, I will work my schedule around their exercise needs, feeding schedule, medication schedules, etc. When caring for your pets, I will take as much time as needed to learns your pets personality, so I can best integrate myself into their routine in the times you are away. As a future veterinarian, I will also consistently be looking for signs of illness, and focus on creating a low stress environment for your pet. I am also always looking for cute photos, so you will receive updates and pictures from me so you can enjoy your time away from home knowing your pet is safe, happy, and receiving lots of love from me.

About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.

About: I’ve taken care of many friends’ pets in the past and take care of my own 2 year old cat. I’ve also house sat multiple times and feel comfortable with pitties as well. My weekly routine is fairly open right now. I am currently unemployed and have a very flexible arrangement. I will work most weekends as well. I provide lots of love and affection for the animals I stay with and care for as well as follow the instructions to the letter in order to ensure safety.

About: Everyone knows me as the dog-obsessed friend. I've never met a dog I didn't have a connection with. Dogs seem to sense that something is different about me and that I'm the one to go to for extra love and pets. I have particular experience with and compassion for senior dogs. My husband and I rescued an 8 year old black Lhasa Apso in Chicago and got to spend 4 wonderful years making sure her remaining time was filled with love and happiness. That experience opened our hearts and minds to just how special a relationship with an older dog can be, and is what inspired us to open our home to fostering animals. When I'm not fostering or dog sitting, I'm playing with my neph-pups, seeing what the neighborhood dogs are up to, or watching funny dog videos online. I work from home full time as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. I am able to set my own schedule allowing me the flexibility to be available for all your pet's needs. Our home has a spacious fenced-in backyard for lots of running (plus some daring squirrels and rabbits around that seem to want to be chased). We have an adjustable crate for varying sized fur babies that I line with comfy blankets and padding. We keep the crate in our guest room with a noise machine and overhead fan so they feel comfortable and safe. For dogs who are used to sleeping in a bed, we forego the crate and just let a pup snooze right on the guest bed. If it's your home, I follow your instructions to make sure your pet is as comfortable and happy as if you were still there. I'm also a big photo taker! I will provide pup-dates multiple times a day until you tell me to stop.
