About: Since age 10 I’ve been volunteering at the ARL. At this same time, my passion for animal welfare also led me to be vegetarian. Since being able to drive I have taken care of multiple different peoples animals during short and extended periods away from home. I am a college student and work part time so I have availability during the day and evenings to care for your pets! I am available weekdays and weekends. My main priority is your pets comfort and safety in their own environment. I am open to any specific needs and instructions to provide your pet the best care.

About: My love of animals started from a young age. I grew up on a farm with a variety of pets, from dogs and cats to pigs and horses! I have fostered and boarded a variety of dog breeds and cats, and I currently have a dog and 4 kittens - so you can trust your pet will be in great hands! I am an active teacher, so I stay busy throughout the week, but I am off on holiday breaks and weekends, which is when I will be most available! I do also have afternoon and nighttime availability thought out the week on occasion. I provide personalized care for your pets by sticking to their routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs they have. I ensure their environment stays comfortable and safe while you’re away, offering companionship and attention to keep them happy and relaxed. Regular updates and photos will keep you informed, so you can rest easy knowing your pet is in great hands!

About: Growing up, I’ve cared for animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and love their pets. I truly love all animals and enjoy staying active, so whether your dog needs a long walk, run, or extra playtime, I’m happy to help! As a full-time teacher, my availability is limited during the school year. However, I am primarily looking to provide pet care during the summer months when I have a very open and flexible schedule. My husband and I have been married 14 years and we have twin daughters. Our family also had a dog, Herky (of 13 years), who we recently passed away. We recently began our Rover journey to help fill the void in our home after losing Herky. We are looking for some puppy love and snuggles, to help heal our hearts. I work full-time, but our family has plenty of time to take care of your pet during breaks. Your pet will never be left alone more than a few hours at a time, and we are home in the evenings to take care of your fur baby! I have a nice back yard. In addition the high trestle trail is in our backyard which allows for nice long walks with your fur baby!

Weekly Routine: My weekly schedule tends to stay the same while I am in school. I balance coursework and tending to my pets. I set aside time for any additional care, such as vet appointments or grooming, and adjust my day around my pets' needs. I live in a house with an open yard. I also have two small dogs that are playful and friendly, which means they can keep your furry friends company while you're away. I’m reliable, patient, and truly enjoy being around animals. I always try to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for just like they would at home. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I’m already used to caring for animals every day with my own pets. I’m a teacher, so during the summers I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability to help with walks, drop-ins, feedings, or overnight care. I enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care is something I genuinely look forward to being part of my routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of attention and playtime, and go on walks or potty breaks as needed. About: I don't remember a time I did not work with animals. I volunteered with the head of the board of my hometown humane society since I was 5 years old. We would trap and rescue stray cats. I began working at a veterinary hospital at age 13, as a veterinary assistant and receptionist as I got older. I have continued doing this at a few other clinics in different cities. I currently have worked at the same veterinary clinic for 9 years. I have both canine and feline knowledge and experience administrating oral and injectable medications, such as insulin, and applying ear and eye medication. I can give subcutaneous fluids to all kinds of animals, including pocket pets. I have great sympathy and patience when it comes to getting your older/elderly cat to eat, especially when they don't want to. I am not afraid to assist your older small or big dog walking outside to go potty when their arthritis is bad. Caring for your pet recovering from surgery or other medical procedures can be scary, but I am willing to go the extra mile for them. One other thing, doing toenail trims with a clipper or dremel gives me extreme joy! In 2012 I became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, through the Animal Behavior College. I specialize working with puppy mill rescues and trauma related aggressive dogs of all ages and sizes. I will also do standard obedience training. Over the years my passions have grown. I am going to school to pursue a career as an Animal Cruelty Investigator. My schedule allows me to have 4 days off a week, including Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. I have a full time and part time job. I also take college online courses. I take care of my own fur pets, 2 dogs, 1 cat and a guinea pig. I also enjoy the thrill and excitement of providing my care to all sorts of other pets. I would enjoy either long term set schedules or flexibility. I am open to anything. I will accept smaller dogs into my home. I have a home with extra bedrooms so your dog can have it's own digs if needs a rest time after lots of playing. If your pet is registered at a dog park I will be happy to take there.
