Hiii my name is Xochil, I am 26 years old, new to Rover, and am a fellow pet parent with 2 spoiled kitties and a bearded dragon of my own. I have years of pet sitting experience under my belt including professional pet care at a vet clinic and boarding facility. Along with growing up in a house full of a variety of different animals has made me a natural caregiver for most, if not all pets! Having the hands on experience with all sorts of breeds and temperaments, you can be assured your pet will be safe with me. If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s the understanding that each and every pet is different and one approach might not work for all, instead adjusting to each of your pets’ unique needs. As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it is to find someone to care for your babies when you're away so I am very flexible and understanding to any requests that may make you feel more comfortable- nothings off the table so please ask away! I look forward to hearing for you.

Safety, trust & environment
I am good at monitoring stools and eating habits, always on the look out for any concerns. I am very weary of entering and exiting homes so pets can not slip out. Outside of the house, I am extra alert for off-leash dogs and other wildlife that may pose issues. If a problem arises with another dog, I know methods of separation and carry dog deterrent spray. I’m always present and in tune with their body language to make sure they’re comfortable and not showing any signs of distress or possible health concerns. The communication line is always open and you will receive plenty of photos with each visit so you can know for certain everything is looking okay. When I’m with your pet, it’s all about your pet and only your pet! I will never do something you have not listed in your instructions- the more in depth the instructions, the better!

Xochil has always shown love and care for any and every animal that’s come her way. She has worked at dog kennels, where she’s provided everything possible to the animals in her care.
I couldn’t be happier with Xochil taken care of my doggos and bearded dragon! They were caring, reliable, attentive, and we felt completely comfortable knowing my pets were in such good hands. They kept us updated, followed all of our instructions, and gave our pets lots of love and attention. It’s such a relief to have someone I can trust, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful pet sitter!
Xochil has watched my cats several times and she's the only person outside my immediate family who I would trust to watch over Alabama and Alaska! She is a great communicator and will also send me photos to assure me that my cats are being properly taken care of. She had done single stop-by's and I have also hired her for overnight stays. Highly recommend her!

Xochil is a very loving, attentive & responsible pet parent! She’s cared for my dog Hank, who has epilepsy and severe separation anxiety, on multiple occasions and he absolutely loved her. And the way she provides for her own pets, I would trust her with mine anytime.

I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of availability for your fur babies! At this time, I do not provide in home boarding.
