About: Hello! My name is Meredith and I have lived in the Des Moines area for 1.5 years, working for Pella Windows & Doors, after relocating from North Carolina. I have had several years of experience taking care of my family's cats and dogs. I also provided dog walking services for others for a few years when they would leave town or just need somebody to help out during the day. While I can't have a pet where I live, I still love to be around them and would take care of your pets as if they were my own! I enjoy taking them on walks with me and I would make sure they get plenty of time to have some fun outside! I will be working from home during the summer, so my schedule is rather flexible. I will be available for drop-ins and walks as well. I know every pet is different so I will make sure to follow any directions you leave me in order to take the best care of yours!

About: I’ve been caring for pets for family and friends for much of my life and am excited to bring those skills to Rover. I have owned my own dog for 6 years now and have learned a ton about having a dog that requires boundaries and maintenance for triggers of his reactivity. I’ve learned patience and am happy to do that for your furry friends as well! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays which gives me the flexibility to leave for drop-in visits throughout the day and after work! Tuesday-Thursdays can also be arranged if your home is near my office - contact me for details! While I’m unable to care for others’ pets in my own home since my pup prefers human friends, I will care for your pet in any way you need in your own home. I prefer homes where I can let your pet out into a fenced yard but am happy to take pets out on a leash if they are leash trained and/or you prepare me for their behavior.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. My family has owned four chocolate labs and one black lab and my has family bred dogs for the last 18 years so I am comfortable caring for dogs of all ages. Currently, my wife and I own a two year-old golden retriever. I work a 8-5 job but walk my golden retriever in the morning for about 2 miles and in the evening for about 3-4 miles. We also find time to play in the house, go to the dog park, or play fetch throughout the week. I do not traditionally take on other individual’s dogs in my home and plan to offer dog walking/at home visits. That being said, I have taken care of family pets for a week or so. My general strategy is to get them comfortable with the environment and me and then introduce them to activities or play time.

About: I have grown up with dogs and taken care of dogs my whole life!! I absolutely love dogs more than anything and have dog sat a ton!! But what sets me apart is I am home almost all the time so I will be here to take care of your dog 24/7!! I can take them on walks as much or as little as you would like! :) I am currently a student on break this summer so I am home very often to play, walk and care for your pets!! I am planning to go study animal science after this summer to be a vet!! Your dog will get more than enough affection from me as I love all animals!! ;) I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for your dogs to enjoy! “Ezequiel did drop in visits for my two dogs while I was away for a few days. He has great communication. He was very punctual. He was willing to accommodate my dog who is quite skittish, using my special leash and gate set ups to ensure she did not escape. My Corgi enjoyed him right away. Ezequiel did a great job feeding my dogs who have sensitives, allergies, and not the easiest feeding routine. He offered to wipe the dogs off when they came inside as it was raining nearly the entire time. Would recommend!”

About: I come from a pet loving family. I’ve always had cats and dogs and I currently have a husky with scoliosis, a lab puppy and a small black cat that I love dearly. I enjoy spending time with animals and taking care of their needs, whatever they may be. I am familiar with giving cats and dogs medication if needed, as my husky takes daily medication to manage her pain. I work remotely from home in Urbandale from 7AM - 3PM Monday - Friday, so I can check in on your kid(s) before or after work and on weekends if needed. I will happily take your dog for a walk, or take it/them outside and play with them for a while. I will also feed them, give them fresh water and any medications they may need. For cats I will love on them, cuddle them, feed them, give them fresh water and change their litter box (unless their toilet trained)
