One of the cats is diabetic, so Nejra had to stop twice a day approximately 12 hours apart to feed them and give one cat her insulin. Asking for care at 6:30 AM and again at 6:30 PM is a big ask, but Nejra showed up each day at those times! Their litter boxes were cleaned and Nejra provided pictures and details on how they were eating twice a day. She even took the time to give them pets each time she was here. About: I have had cats all my life and am very experienced in the needs and wants of a cat. I have old and young cats and with one of my cats being 13 I would say I am especially experienced with cats in their senior years which can be a little bit more difficult. I love cats of all sizes and all ages.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for family and friends for much of my life and am excited to bring those skills to Rover. I have owned my own dog for 6 years now and have learned a ton about having a dog that requires boundaries and maintenance for triggers of his reactivity. I’ve learned patience and am happy to do that for your furry friends as well! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays which gives me the flexibility to leave for drop-in visits throughout the day and after work! Tuesday-Thursdays can also be arranged if your home is near my office - contact me for details! While I’m unable to care for others’ pets in my own home since my pup prefers human friends, I will care for your pet in any way you need in your own home. I prefer homes where I can let your pet out into a fenced yard but am happy to take pets out on a leash if they are leash trained and/or you prepare me for their behavior.

I have been volunteering with the ARL since 2005. I have had 30+ foster dogs through them as well. I just love animals. I do have weekends blocked but just ask about availability! I am retired. About: I have been the main caretaker of any animal I’ve ever had, some because I was the one who begged for it. And others because I just love animals so much that their care is only half the fun. I have experience with animals in all stages of life, from puppies to seniors. I also have a senior dog, who is such a joy but I think he forgets he has arthritis with all of his puppy antics. About: I have had pets my entire adult life, and I know how important it is to you to find the right person to take care of them while you’re away. I am committed to taking care of your pets like they’re my own, and I’m excited to provide lots of love and fun! I work from home, and my husband is a full time dad, so we’d be happy to spend time with your pets, go for walks as a family, and see to their every need! We have pet gates throughout the home, extra kennels if needed, and a fenced in yard. We are also comfortable giving medication orally or via injection if needed.
